The seed was moved to paper towels soaked with water at room temperature. It was also covered with a bowl, so the towels are kept wet.
The water was kept for two days in an opened bottle so all the chlorine can evaporate.
In a day or two the seed should sprout and after that I will transfer it into a small pot.
Fingers crossed!
Monday morning, two days after I put the seed on paper towels I can see the sprout.
I mixed soil with perlite (80%/20%) and gently put the seed in a hole about 1cm deep. The soil was gently sprinkled with water and the pot was covered with a plastic cover, made of half a PET bottle. Remember to make small holes at the top of the bottle, so the water can evaporate a little.
Now we wait.
Wednesday - I can see the head! :)
I'll keep the plastic cover for a few more hours and after that I'll transfer the plant into a growbox.
Thursday - the plant is in a growbox with a light schedule 18/6.
Light = 6,000 lx
For the next few days I'll let it grow up a little, around the end of the week it will be transfered to a bigger pot.
The plant is growing little too fast and it's getting too long, so I gave her more light, so she doesn't need to "reach out" for it. Light = 6,500 lx
On Tuesday I did the first bottom watering. The goal is to force the roots to grow down, so they are healthier and stronger.
Thursday - another bottom watering.
At the end of the week the plant has three sets of leaves. Two more sets and the plant will get the vegetation state amount of light (about 30,000 lx).
On Sunday I added a ScrOG net.
The plant is growing really nice. The leaves are huge, I never saw such a big leaves on any of my plants.
I keep light at 40,000 lx, the lamp is about 17 cm above the plant.
Light = 80,000lx. The plant is so big it's hard to get the lamp higher :D.
On Tuesday the plant was getting 180,000lx. Way too much, it has light burnings. I can't get the lamp higher, so I removed the ScrOG net and moved the plant away from the light source.
More and more flowers are appearing.
