11/08/23 - I finished my dry a couple of days ago and have jarred & trimmed the last couple of days. My dry weight after jarring but before the full cure is 146.7 grams. I know the cure will suck out a little more so I should end up with a little under 5 ozs after. The general (dry but not cured) smoke report is that even slightly green it’s great. The taste sorta reminds me of a sweet jenny kush type taste except with slight berry taste. Great Stuff!! The effects are definitely uplifting and puts me a great mood. About 70/30 head/body high. I’ll cure for 6 weeks and do my full smoke report! Happy growing everyone! 11/01/23 - I definitely ended up with a beautiful wedding cake!! She came in at 734 grams wet with some very large buds. The best way I can describe the smell is sweet vanilla berry. I currently have her drying at around 65 temp / 55 humidity currently. Trying to get the perfect 60/60 ratio. Just some details. I put her in darkness at the end of day on 10/29 and harvested on 11/01 for about 62 hours of darkness. Also I am not sure if I am going to edit my original data as I was using a 300 watt light for weeks 1 - 4 and used a 150 watt light for weeks 5 - 13 for flowering. I am just unsure how the metrics will work as I know it’s all based on wattage, square footage and amount of plant's so we will see.

Fox Farm’s Trio w/ CalMag is all I ever really used and I couldn’t be happier with them. Easy to use and proven results.
Reviews. Lamp
I used the TSW2000 during the veg phase and then the TS1000 during Flowering. I love both lights. I know they have newer ones out but these do the job just fine for now.

11/08/23 - I finished my dry a couple of days ago and have jarred & trimmed the last couple of days. My dry weight after jarring but before the full cure is 146.7 grams. I know the cure will suck out a little more so I should end up with a little under 5 oz’s of varying buds. 11/01 - Wedding Cake Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds is a great strain to grow even for beginners. It’s a very robust plant that really didn’t require very much care and only very light LST. RQS advertises a small, quick flowing strain so I am unsure if mine is larger than average or if I just dialed everything in right this time lol Either way I ended up with 734 grams (wet weight) of dense frosted vanilla berry scented buds!! My largest single plant harvest yet! I usually divide by 18% to get my estimated Dry Weight. So here is hoping for around 4.5 oz’s dry and cured. I took a small sample bud about 4 days ago just to get taste for it. I’ll report on the effects and taste of that, green as it is. I’ll dry about 5 - 6 days and then jar. Then 6 weeks of cure with half using 62% Boveda packs & half using 58%. Ill report back with a final smoke report right around the Holidays. For my next venture I will be growing some photoperiod strains for the first time. I am super excited and nervous as I have heard both that they are easier and harder than autoflowers so we will see. Until then, Happy Growing Everyone

Thanks Bud Boutique! This has been a great grow for me as I think I have finally figured out most of the basics. My next challenge will be growing photos for a more consistent bud. I’ll come take a look at what you have going. If your doing any photos I’ll be watching lol Happy Growing!

Thanks Bugsby!! It was a Great Harvest! I got about 750 grams wet weight so hoping for around 5 oz dry lol I know I won’t end up with that, probably more like 4 1/4 after cure and stems. I’ll be posting soon.

Smart idea to hang the branches on a cloth drying rack like that... Sweet harvest bro! 😋

I have to give credit where it’s due and that would be my lovely wife! Lol she saw me trying to dry on lines hanging across my tent and was “umm I could fix that problem for you” and that’s what she got me. They each have 24 different clips and they fold up after use. I just love ‘‘em lol

I used to put my paper towels on the heat mat but I stopped going that. That heat can introduce pathogens and I’ve since found out that although there are more than one germination method, temperature doesn’t make much difference. What you’re trying to do is soften the shell and heat certainly helps that but the juice ain’t worth the squeeze. I started sanding the seems very lightly and that allows moisture inside which will hasten germination. I started using CulturedBiologix Dr. Root, which is just an instant tea, that I mix in water. You can ph it if you wish but it’s not a deal breaker because you’re not trying to uptake any nutes for two weeks anyway. Mephisto is notoriously finicky early on so all you want is root accelerators if anything for two weeks with an auto. IMO. So after I scuff the seeds I soak them overnight in a shot glass. If they sink sooner then just pour the water you soaked them in onto the paper towel and with sterile tweezers I place them point down on the paper towel and fold like everyone does. Then I place the baggie vertically with the points aiming down. They should start to work down in about two days. Then I put them straight into a 3gal container. Anything bigger is unnecessary IMO. I’ve seen Del from NightOwl (the best auto gear IMO) pull 30 grams out of a 3gal fabric container. Good luck!

Yea I like to keep it pretty simple. Just PH’d water and a napkin in a baggy/Tupperware outside in the shade for 2 days. I don’t use many supplements until about week 2 and then only foxfarm trio & Calmag. I always found the KISS method works best for me haha Keep it simple stupid. I’ll check your grow out as well. Curious to see the same strain but with different breeders. Happy Growing! Happy Growing!

I couldn’t believe it myself when I weighed it! I think I just got lucky with a bigger than average plant. That being said I am extremely happy with this strain too. Going to grow it again for sure. I leave a 62% Boveda (1oz) pack in and still burp my jars doing the cure. They are more for a backup if I forget to burp them. I’ll be checking your grow for your dry harvest pics!
