Here's the diary up through 9 weeks of vegetation for both of these ladies, including a couple clones which are also being tracked.
6/29 planted in rock wool
9/9 Flipped light cycle to 12/12
Added the new MH FC3000 to the tent this week. Changed out nutes today. Have yo-yos on a couple branches. Attempted some defoliation on BSS. She’s bushy. Clones are showing early flowering with some pistils.
Durban Poison - Day 94/Week 4 of Flower. This girl is 48" tall and sitting in a 4 gallon bucket. If she continues to drink at this rate, I may have to upsize her bucket.
Blue Sunset Sherbert - Day 94/Week 4 of Flower. This girl is 38" tall. She smells like citrus. Lots of branches and leaves. I continue to defoliate some, but trying to limit.
Leaf to branch ratio on the DP Sativa is very low compared to the BSS hybrid.
I added the (1) Mars Hydro FC3000 this week to the 5X5 tent. That is added to (3) Mars Hydro TS1000 lights, and (1) Spider Farmer SF1000 light. For a total of 5 lights. It's really bright. But, this allowed me to put the FC3000 in the middle and the small lights in the corners at various heights, based on the plants. This is allowing deep penetration throughout the tent. I love it. And this will provide needed heat in the tent this winter.
Week 6 of flower. Will need to check trichs soon and consider flushing. Durban Poison has solid nugs throughout. Not a larfy bud to be found. BSS is filling out too, but her buds are a little softer, but not larfy. Pictures of the clones in here too, they are a couple weeks younger than their mothers. They were an experiment and I decided to grow them out without much training. Free plants, heck yeah! That's another reason to grow photoperiod.
