12/7 - 12/13:
12/7 - The girls are growing great! Everything has been dialed in. VPD is 0.65. PPFD is 285. DLI is 18. The small tent makes environmental changes very quick. Not hard to dial in.
12/13 - Everything is going great. I have one concern. Luna has a small albino stripe on one leaf and the whole plant seems to be a lighter green in color especially outside of the leaf veins. Not sure what that means. I hope its a condition that it will grow out of and not some genetic malformation. If the plant is fucked I want to save as much of the soil as possible and start something else ASAP! If someone could tell me what that is?
Any idea what would cause a weird white stripe/spot/mark on one of the leaves and why the whole plant seems to be a lighter shade of green? Its been a lighter shade since it's been germinated. Both plants have been treated the same in every way. Thank you 😁👍
what you highlight in first picture here is a harmless leaf mutation.
Do keep an eye on that pailing of top set of leaves. It is odd to paill from inner to outer portion of leaf. This could be low Fe or low S, but i'd wait to see how it progresses. reference a leaf chart as you continue to observe it. Very unlikely it is a trace element issue in soil, so low S is best bet at this point.
I don't get it. Is this N toxicity? Serrated upturned edges, clawing, slow growth. But how? FFHF 75% FFOF 25%. Just Cal-Mag water. No food. NLS in bottom 3rd of pot. Not wind burn. Not too hot/dry at all. N deficiency? Yellow leaves on first bottom two only. I'm stumped.
Yes, this is N toxicity. You got nutrient waste salts inside your soil. You need to flush them out. And in the future water till runoff to prevent this problem for the rest of the grow.
For the flush you give the pot volume in water with pH 6.2 without nutrients.
For the runoff you want 10% from the water that you give to drain from the bottom of the pot.
