"Lemme Grow Again" Fast Buds - Northern Lights Auto

12/7 - 12/13: 12/7 - The girls are growing great! Everything has been dialed in. VPD is 0.65. PPFD is 285. DLI is 18. The small tent makes environmental changes very quick. Not hard to dial in. 12/13 - Everything is going great. I have one concern. Luna has a small albino stripe on one leaf and the whole plant seems to be a lighter green in color especially outside of the leaf veins. Not sure what that means. I hope its a condition that it will grow out of and not some genetic malformation. If the plant is fucked I want to save as much of the soil as possible and start something else ASAP! If someone could tell me what that is?

12/14 - 12/20: VPD is 0.67 - PPFD is 350 - DLI is 22.5 12/14 - The girls are growing fast. I'm keeping an eye out on Luna who seems to be getting bigger a bit faster than Diana at the moment. Some of the answers I have received have pretty much said that the spot on Luna is just a birth mark and it's nothing to be worried about. I'm glad they don't think it looks like TMV. 12/18 - Damn. Power went out and my generator wouldn't start. Girls had 5 hours more darkness than they should have. I don't think it's a big deal considering the stage of their life cycle but they are back on track today. I will keep an eye out for any problems or anomalies. Damn. 12/19 - I did give them a tiny bit of NLS in a water solution. I'm also gonna try a small amount of foliar feeding as well this week. Everything in small amounts. Soon the girls will move into the big tent when Adeona and Abeona get cut!

12/21 - 12/27: VPD 0.68 kPa - PPFD 450 - DLI 29 12/21 - Girls are doing perfect! Right on track! They took the little bit of tea I fed them well. I've noticed another little blemish on Luna like the one earlier I was concerned about but both of them have almost faded into almost unseen. Luna is still a little lighter in color overall but I have rotated the pots a few times in the tent and have fed them exactly the same. Maybe a small variation. I have toyed with the idea of maybe growing some Hubbabubbasmelloscope from Mephisto. Reviews are really good and I'm interested in the over profile of the plant. Might be the next plant! 12/25 - I moved them over to the big tent. I'm sure they will enjoy the space much more. I really like the two tent set up. Small one start and big one to finish. This will make constant rotation much easier.

12/28 - 1/3/24: 12/28 - COVID SUCKS. Ugh. It was hard to tell what was happening to the girls. The second set of leaves ever grown on both girls (single lobed ones) turned yellow. None of the other leaves are yellow at all but they are now a darker green and a bit of 'clawing' is happening with a bit of serrated edging. More so on Diana than Luna. I also think that they have stunted a little bit as well. I think these are signs of Nitrogen Toxicity. I really didn't think that my soil is very hot at all. It's mostly all Happy Frog with a small amount of Ocean Forest (25%) mixed in. Are autoflowers WAY more sensitive to nitrogen? My photos had a 50/50 mix and they were fine. I flushed them both (ph water and a bit of Yucca based flush). I didn't want to considering I'm using a living soil mix in the bottom 1/3rd of the fabric pot as per the instructions of Nature's Living Soil. I will wait a few days and see what the progress is as well. I also wonder if there was a small amount of stress going from the small tent to the big one. I've also been thinking of bottom watering the fabric pot since it sits in a nice plastic dish. I used to bottom feed and water trays of plants back in college. I will do more research on that subject. I ordered some Mephisto Hubbabubbasmelloscope seeds! So that will be the next project! 12/30 - WTF happened to this site?!?! A ton of stuff is broken and was left that way when putting the site back online. I know it's a free site but this is bush-league site building. I hope it's fixed soon. 1/1 - I flushed both girls with 5 gallons of pH'ed RO water with a Yucca based flush. I found a new method which made the process very easy. I'm now thinking about trying DWC in the future. 1/2 - I noticed today that Diana is starting to flower. She has a few pistils near the top. Luna has yet to show any. I believe it's because Diana has grown slower and has shown more N toxicity effects. I may start another batch of the Northern Lights again instead of moving on. I need to perfect this technique first.

1/3 - 1/9: 1/3 - I now have noticed that both plants have started flowering. Luna is about 2-3 days behind Diana. I wished I had figured out the N toxicity and gotten them a bit bigger. Diana looks a little scrawney but is almost as tall as Luna. Luna looks more full. All the bent leaves are about 95% gone! Tommorrow I'm going to give the girls their first bit of flowering nutes. 1/4 - Fed them their first flowering nutes. NLS Flower Girl. I think I have decided to try another round of the FastBuds Northern Lights Auto first. I'm gonna change a few things and try again. 1/7 - I was sure but I don't think Luna has started to flower. Diana DEF has. Tons of white pistils on Diana. None really on Luna. I really think that Diana was way more N stressed and stunted than Luna. I guess there will be an even bigger time disparity between the two.

1/10 - 1/16: 1/10 - Girls are growing well and showing no problems. Luna is really flowering and Diana is just completely content with vegging in the sun and getting fat. lol. It's now a week difference between the two. It will probably be longer. 1/15 - Tomorrow I might be more positive but maybe Diana has started to flower? It's been a week of no much happening. Just waiting. I should be starting Diana II and Luna II Electric Boogaloo tonight!

1/17 - 1/23: 1/17 - Still not convinced that Diana wants to switch to flowering. lol. Diana consumes A LOT MORE water than Luna does by a good measure. I'm really hoping that what Diana looks like is what is 'normal' for this seed. The girls look very healthy! 1/18 - First day that I'm actually convinced Diana is flowering! She's going to be a big girl. I need to do some under trimming on both! Tomorrow? 1/19 - Some light under trimming was done. Also fed with some Girl Flower Power and Molasses. They are looking fantastic! 1/23 - Some more light trimming was done. They are looking good.

1/24 - 1/30: 1/24 - These girls love their water and they love the Girl Flower Power and they love the small 'nighttime' heater I put in each of the tents. With temps dropping to low double digits overnight, the basement can get a little chillier on some nights. It's a really nice backup! I still don't know what's going on with Luna. It looks like she really wants to go but... no pistils. Is this a stalled/stuck pre-flower. Could this need a 12/12 finish? Ugh. Diana looks really good. Diana looks to be on track for her age. 1/28 - I'm still really confused about Luna. Every time I think she's moving on she just stays the same or gets weirder. Now she constantly droops/weeps. She looks perfectly healthy otherwise. To my untrained eyes, it looks like she's stuck in a particular phase of transition. I got two more of these beans in early germ and they couldn't look more different as well! This is some pretty janky genetics.

2/1 - 2/7: 2/1 - Luna still confuses me. Very slow. Lighter green. WAY different shaped leaves. I've got some Cal def. Rust spots on leaves. Must be low pH salt build up. I'm gonna do a small flush and feed tomorrow. 2/3 - Luna seems like a lost cause. She started a slow flowering and then stopped. She's been very droopy and wilty for a couple weeks now. Run off pH was 6.4 last time I checked a few days ago. These autos are fucking weird. Diana has been treated exactly the same and except for some early Cal def, she has been a perfect (a little stunted from N tox) plant so far. 2/4 - I gave them both a gallon of Real Growers Recharge. I wanna try whatever I can to bring back Luna and it certainly can't hurt Diana. 2/7 - I have tried everything except ask for help. I have no idea what is wrong with Luna. She is not going to make it. Diana is doing well. I'm going to do some defoliating before I water.

2/9 - 2/15: Finally small time-snyc'd the two accounts so I can do this all on one day! 2/9 - 2nd major trimming went well for Diana! She looks great! 2/11 - Diana is maturing very well. No issues. I may trim so more today. 2/13 - The Mrs. and I have made the decision to put Luna out of her misery. I have tried everything to bring her back even a little but I have seen nothing work. Since she is an auto and her sister is about 3-4 weeks away from being done, and I have two more of the same thing coming in behind them needed the space they take up. Very sad to have to destroy something you work hard to keep alive. 2/15 - Diana is looking very healthy. Small, stout and proud! She's awesome!

2/16 - 2/22: 2/16 - Runoff from feeding Diana was 6.3 pH. 👍I hope she increases her trichromes soon. She also has very little smell. I did get a bunch of resin on my fingers from previous trimmings and it smells really good but it's not very fragrant. Maybe in the last few weeks she will really freak out. 2/19 - I'm starting to get what looks like Cal and or Mag def. I wonder if it's end of life stuff or should I pump more into watering it? 2/21 - I figured a way to get the tents a tiny bit warmer by a couple or few degrees. The plants love it!

2/23 - 2/29: 2/24 - Senescense is starting pretty good on Diana. She is getting pretty frosty as well. Maybe another week or so. It's gotta be quick because she has room mates now. 2/26 - I gave her the tiniest amount of bloom boost with her watering. She's gonna be picked very very soon. 2/27 - Saw a small amount of brown trichomes in some of the upper portions of bud structures.

3/1 - 3/7 3/1 - Diana should be ready any day now. I'm just waiting for the bottoms to catch up somewhat as I watch trichome development. She looks beautiful!

3/8 - ??? 3/8 - Just waiting for brown trichomes!!! She has all but stopped taking up water. I wish I had a way to finish the end of this plant. I need the room!!! 3/11 - I may just chop on Thursday.

3/12 - So I cut her down. She had been ready for a week+ I imagine but I wanted to get some more brown trichomes considering this is going to be sleep medicine. My dumb ass didn't weight her before I put her up but she is so small that it would be a bad representation of the genetics considering she was stunted by nitrogen toxicity. SHE WAS SO PRETTY! I hope all of my future plants are as nice to photograph.
