Got 7 originals seed from FastBuds for almost a year in my fridge... so I bought one more (Moby Dick Auto) and decided to give it a try to onebud style, hoping about 15g sample from each strain. 09/22/2023 : I rubbed seeds gently during 5s in a sandpaper tube, then Iet it soak 30min in X-seed from B.A.C. and put it in a Jiffy peat pellet. Then, pellet in greenhouse, under a Spider Farmer SF300 24h/day on, RH between 90 and 100% and temperature about 25°C thanks to iClone heat mat. 09/25/2023 : After 3 days, in the morning, 6 popped out of the pellet. By night, 8 were OK.😎 09/26/2023 : transplanted to 1gal smartpot, 75% Biobizz Coco-Mix (not the best but leftover from past grow, so...) and 25% Plagron Perlite soaked with CalMag 2.0 (1mL/L) and pH=6,2 (Biobizz pH up & down). Girls will wait for about a week under a Spider Farmer SF1000 (60cm - 12 DLI) with humidificator set to 70% while Runtz is finishing... then I'll swap them.

09/30/2023 : Runtz' harvest is done, so girls are in place this morning. Light set to 16 DLI, first watering since germination with Fast Food, Auto Stimulator and Final Solution (I'll follow B.A.C. Fast Food Organic program). In the evening, I sprayed with Foliar Spray, Pro Active and Amino Complex. Must spray with Plant Vitality Plus too, but this need to be done in the morning, just before light is on, so I'll do it in a few days. Everything looks OK except for chemdawg who get yellow spots and a purlple stem : I suspect root can't get out of the pellet (once again). I'll let it be for a few days and try something to recue it if it can't help itself. 10/06/2023 : I misread B.A.C. schedule and gave x5 Auto Stimulator...😐 4 big ones (AK, JH, OGK and Skunk) took it like champs with just a few tips burned. 4 little ones (CD, MD, NL, WW) got more severely burned. I sprayed Vitality Plus this morning and they liked it. Just gave them 70 mL rain water each before weekend.

10/15/2023 : should be last vegetation week for most of the girls (OG and Skunk are already preflowering!). 0.6L of light feeding and no CalMag as I forgot it... Will give it next time, it should be OK. I made a few cuts to adopt one bud style and removed all ramifications from 3 lower nodes, leaving just big leaves and added tutors. It will be the one and only training, unless one of this ladies grows too high, of course. They're growing nicely and gain height as they should : AK - 17.5 cm Chemdawg - 13.5 cm Jack Herer - 19.5 cm Moby Dick - 14.5 cm Northern Lights - 15.5 cm OG Kush - 14.0 cm Skunk - 16.0 cm White Widow - 18.5 cm 10/19/2023 : they're all preflowering... and gaining height! I had to water them a second time this week, with calmag this time.😅 ------------------ AK - 22 cm Chemdawg - 16 cm Jack Herer - 25.5 cm Moby Dick - 18 cm Northern Lights - 20.5 cm OG Kush - 19.5 cm Skunk - 22.0 cm White Widow - 23 cm

Hi, 2 of 8 got yellow/brown spots on lower leaves. I've watered them once a week and add calmag, pH=6,2 following b.a.c. instructions. Last watering, i forgot calmag so I did a second watering 5 days later with calmag. What could be the problem ?

They just need more food. Looks more like phosphorus and potassium deficiency starting, the burn straight tips say more then just a magnesium deficiency

10/22/2023 : first flowering week! The yellowing seems fixed, no evolution since a few days, so thanks to Roberts for the help.😘 They were just starving, entering flowering without proper feeding, so let's go now : I didn't forget calmag this time and crancked up fast food level (x2) as said by B.A.C. program. I had to add a heater to maintain temperature above 20°C by night. By day, with 40 DLI @45cm it's about 27°C : almost perfect with humidifier set to 65%. Now, the heights : AK - 25.5 cm Chemdawg - 19.5 cm Jack Herer - 31.0 cm Moby Dick - 21.5 cm Northern Lights - 26.0 cm OG Kush - 25.5 cm Skunk - 26.5 cm White Widow - 28.5 cm 10/26/2023 : 1 month anniversary! And there is still something wrong. They are all gaining height but half of them look sick with different symptoms (discolored, burned or curled tips). They were looking so good a few days ago...😠 Will ask if it's under or over feeding this time. Anyway, 4 days stretch is for real : AK - 32.5 cm (+7.0) Chemdawg - 23.0 cm (+3.5) Jack Herer - 38.5 cm (+7.5) Moby Dick - 25.0 cm (+3.5) Northern Lights - 32.0 cm (+6.0) OG Kush - 32.5 cm (+7.0) Skunk - 30.5 cm (+3.5) White Widow - 35.5 cm (+7.0)

Several symptoms, always on tips of higher leaves : they are discolored/burnt or burnt/curled up. LED @40cm (deemed 70% of 300W) and I just gave them the 2nd flowering feeding, 4 days after first one (pots were very light). I was planing to start compost tea... What should I do ?

Light is too intense. Plus the tips is nute burn. Also dark green is nitrogen toxicity. Flower npk ratio is 1-2-3.

10/29/2023 : still stretching... JH is big! 4 of them in the middle (AK, NL, SK and WW) then my 2 dwarfs plants (CD & MD). MD must have been stressed at start because it should be the tallest of all. I reset light from 70% to 60% (DLI between 40 for the little ones to 45 for the 4 and 50 for Jack Herer) and I'll wait a week before giving them compost tea. Half of them seems to handle B.A.C. nutrition, the over half is burnt. It's definitely too rich for all of them except JH. today (3 days stretch) AK - 36.0 cm (+3.5) Chemdawg - 26.5 cm (+3.5) Jack Herer - 47.0 cm (+8.5) Moby Dick - 28.5 cm (+3.5) Northern Lights - 38.5 cm (+6.5) OG Kush - 35.5 cm (+3.0) Skunk - 33.0 cm (+2.5) White Widow - 39.0 cm (+3.5) 11/02/2023 (4 days stretch) AK - 38.0 cm (+2.0) Chemdawg - 30.0 cm (+3.5) Jack Herer - 58.5 cm (+11.5) Moby Dick - 32.5 cm (+4.0) Northern Lights - 46.0 cm (+7.5) OG Kush - 38.5 cm (+3.0) Skunk - 33.5 cm (+0.5) White Widow - 41.0 cm (+2.0)

11/05/2023 : tip burns are worse so I removed Fast Food and introduced Bio PK 5-8 from Biotabs instead (10mL/600mL each). Only Jack Herer and Northern Lights are spared (normal green leaves, almost no burn) but they're starving for PK (pale border on leaves). I hope that this nutrition change will do the trick. Heights (3 days stretch) AK - 39.5 cm (+1.5) Chemdawg - 31.5 cm (+1.5) Jack Herer - 66.0 cm (+7.5) Moby Dick - 35.0 cm (+2.5) Northern Lights - 49.5 cm (+3.5) OG Kush - 40.0 cm (+1.5) Skunk - 35.0 cm (+1.5) White Widow - 41.5 cm (+0.5) 11/09/2023 : stretch is finishing, maybe it will be easier to feed them correctly😅 I'm still following B.A.C program (with Fast Food (5-4-8) removed and Bio PK (2-5-8) added). I'll keep it like this with 2 mL/L Bio PK at each feeding. I had to move up LED light because of Jack Herer, so I cranked up power to keep DLI between 40 and 45 for other plants : this should warm up and dry growing space, good things for flowering. Now the heights (4 days stretch) AK - 40.0 cm (+0.5) Chemdawg - 31.5 cm (+0.0) Jack Herer - 71.0 cm (+5.0) Moby Dick - 36.5 cm (+1.5) Northern Lights - 50.5 cm (+1.0) OG Kush - 40.0 cm (+0.0) Skunk - 35.0 cm (+0.0) White Widow - 42.5 cm (+1.0) Jack Herer is still stretching, She is right in front of the oscilating fan, taking big DLI and heat 15 cm from lamp. It's about days before I have to cut her head and match Northern Lights height. I'll try to cook them all PK booster compost tea from Biotabs at the end of the weekend and check if they survive.🙏

2023/11/12 : first compost tea Flowers start to smell in the room when I open the grow space. A bit of yellowing, again... maybe I should feed once more by week. Jack Herer is still stretching a little but I don't want to cut her : we'll see how it goes as it is. Moby Dick took another centimeter, others have done their stretch. heights (3 days stretch) AK - 40.0 cm (+0.0) Chemdawg - 32.0 cm (+0.5) Jack Herer - 74.0 cm (+3.0) Moby Dick - 37.5 cm (+1.0) Northern Lights - 50.5 cm (+0.0) OG Kush - 40.0 cm (+0.0) Skunk - 35.0 cm (+0.0) White Widow - 43.0 cm (+0.5) 2023/11/14 : stretch almost done for Jack Herer too! Feeding with half Fastfood (2mL/L) half Bio PK 5-8 (1,5 mL/L). Jack Herer is a thin giant, Northern Lights is a tall beauty, Moby Dick doesn't look like sativa at all... others are as they should be (short and large). There are trichromes everywhere, except on Jack Herer : wtf ? heights (2 days stretch) AK - 40.5 cm (+0.5) Chemdawg - 32.0 cm (+0.0) Jack Herer - 75.0 cm (+1.0) Moby Dick - 37.5 cm (+0.0) Northern Lights - 50.5 cm (+0.0) OG Kush - 40.0 cm (+0.0) Skunk - 35.0 cm (+0.0) White Widow - 43.0 cm (+0.0) 2023/11/16 : tried to take decent shots of main colas from up and had a look at trichromes from near with macro lens... There are a bunch of them, except on Jack Herer where I can see a few : she'll need 2/3 weeks more than other strains, I hope it will worth it.😋 On the opposite, no doubt Chemdog will be the first to hang.

2023/11/17 : time for a little aircut! I only removed 4 big leaves in the middle of the main cola, exposing lower buds to direct lightning on each of them except for Jack Herer as it was useless (I cut lowest buds instead). Now I hope for buds to get bigger. After enduring all my mistreatments, they don't look as beautiful as they should, but I love them anyway!😍

11/25/2023 : another week of light defoliation, waiting for buds to get bigger Feeding will be light too, with only half-dose BioPK and no more Fastfood. I gave them 1.2 L (pH = 6.15 ; EC = 0.740 µS/cm) and checked runoff vol., pH and EC : AK : 200 mL ; 6.80 ; 1320 µS/cm CD : 150 mL ; 6.16 ; 3732 µS/cm JH : 600 mL ; 6.72 ; 1398 µS/cm MD : 500 mL ; 6.72 ; 1528 µS/cm NL : 250 mL ; 5.82 ; 3492 µS/cm OG : 200 mL ; 6.70 ; 2596 µS/cm SK : 200 mL ; 6.35 ; 3254 µS/cm WW : 350 mL ; 6.70 ; 2068 µS/cm I've heard that EC and pH shouldn't be monitored with organic nutrition but I'm trying to understand all my mistakes, not to redo for the next run... I guess big EC and low pH means nutriment lock and I should flush CD, NL and SK. But for others, is pH = 6.70/6.80 or EC about 1500 µS/cm an issue with organic feeding and should I flush them too as I use coco ? I'm a bit lost. Next run will be full organic B.A.C. nutrition too, but in CoverCrop earth lightmix and 3 gal pots, maybe it will be easier for a noob like me! 😜

12/02/2023 : I flushed and flushed again (rain water with 1.0 mL/L Calmag, pH = 6.2, EC = 200 µS/cm)... but still feeding Jack Herer (EC = 1200 µS/cm) for at least a couple of weeks, as it's far from being done. Last flush/feeding I checked runoff pH and EC : AK : 6.83 ; 551 µS/cm CD : 6.64 ; 551 µS/cm JH : 6.48 ; 2158 µS/cm MD : 6.67 ; 514 µS/cm NL : 6.64 ; 549 µS/cm OG : 6.72 ; 1418 µS/cm SK : 6.70 ; 1028 µS/cm WW : 6.72 ; 587 µS/cm Now all girls but JH have a substrate pH between 6.60 and 6.80, so I guess this part is OK. EC is still a bit high for OG and SK, others are OK too. I'm really dumb and should have flushed weeks earlier : organic nutrition isn't that easy in coco. I've learnt my lesson.😅 The good part is buds are getting fatter, full covered with trichromes and the smell... with full ventilation, I can barely contain it! I periodicaly check trichromes color ratio : not enough amber ones for the moment. More and more orange pistils too. Last check I made a few shots. 12/05/2023 : I removed a few dead leaves and took 20mm pics with a poor LED lightning and an half-broken stand, sorry for that.There are red leaves on WW and purple flowers on CD!😍 Same routine : AK : 6.95 ; 740 µS/cm CD : 6.67 ; 1262 µS/cm JH : 6.75 ; 1468 µS/cm MD : 6.77 ; 1156 µS/cm NL : 6.67 ; 916 µS/cm OG : 6.70 ; 1706 µS/cm SK : 6.70 ; 800 µS/cm WW : 6.68 ; 1608 µS/cm Runoff pH is stuck near 6.70 but EC is going up.As I just gave them pH=6.25-EC=200µS/cm rain water with calmag, this is a total mystery for me.

12/08/2023 : choped half of them today! This time I'll aim to maximal cerebral effect so I'm looking for total cloudy trichromes. AK, chemdawg, OG kush and skunk are hanging for at least a week in my small tent. I should fullfill my objective (10 to 15g from each onebud) but I won't beat my record (210g) this round. Jack herer, moby dick, northern lights and white widow are going on for about 1 or 2 weeks max with just rainwater and calmag. I'm impressed with JH and will definitely retry with bigger smartpot. 12/10/2023 : Flushing... Still too much clear trichromes and white pistils.

12/16/2023 : harvested last 4... drying for a week now, hoping they won't rot as AK! I clearly failed Moby Dick, others look fine despite all my mistakes.😅 12/15/2023 : OG : 13.1 g CD : 13.6 g SK : 15.3 g AK : 12.6 g (could have double that, easy... f@cking rot!) and 0.4 g hash 12/21/2023 : MD : 16.7 g WW : 24.1 g (best looking buds ftm...) and 0.5 g hash. Will trim NL and JH tomorrow. 12/22/2023 : NL : 24.6 g JH : 38.8 g and 1.4 g hash. I got a budget ice-o-lator set of bags so I will try to make some bubble hash with all the trim material (about 3/4 L in the freezer for now). I'm glad it's over as it was very time consuming! All is labelled, stored with boveda pack 62% and monitored by tiny T&HR sensors. I'll try a vap of each in a couple of weeks... I've learnt a lot with this grow and I'm very pleased with the harvest, despite the rotten AK. GRAN TOTAL for 8 Originals - buds : 158.8 g - kief from trimming : 2.3 g - bubble hash from trim material : 1.1 g
