Now that I’m firmly in veg growth is very fast. I don’t have to water every day considering I’m using the wicking method in tandem with Coco coir medium. Nothing has gone wrong so far. The only thing is since this is my first grow I get a bit scissor happy when it comes to defoliation.
Things are growing well still, seems like the wicking method is working great! I definitely don’t have to concern myself with overwatering which was my biggest worry 😅. Side note banana purple punch is only 2 and a half weeks old. She’s doing awesome too! Happy planting to you all!
I was busy with the girls this week plenty of lollipopping and defoliation to do 😁. Any reason to touch my ladies brings me joy and peace 🙏🏾. I feel a growth spurt coming on and I’m excited about that! Just grew into week six and looking forward to pre-flower. Week five has been great. I’ve learned a ton from this experience so far and honestly I’m growing with these girls. Peace and happy planting, growing and harvest to all!
Another great week, my only concern is northern lights. She’s a bit of a late bloomer but I think it’s because I stunted her growth trying to keep too many nodes 😅. She’s very happy and healthy though 😁, so I know she’ll be great. Happy planting 😎😁!
I’m wondering why northern lights is taking so long to bloom 🤔. Blue is doing great and she smells amazing, I believe she will be harvested first. BPP is in preflower it seems and looks quite healthy. I’m leaning toward LST for my next grow when it comes to autos that is. Happy planting peeps 😎!
I’m enjoying the journey of my first grow. Coming close to harvest in a few weeks so I’m right on target for thanksgiving 😂! Blue dream has been a privilege to plant, a simple LST but it has paid off. Mainlining northern lights as well as BPP has been surprisingly hands off except for a little defoliation. I’m getting closer to harvest when it comes to Blu dream! I think I’ll wait till about a week and a half maybe 2 weeks before I do so😎. Northern Lights needs a bit more time but she’s doing great as well. She’s a monster! Banana purple punch has a cartoon like structure and I’m excited to see her in full bloom in the next couple of weeks. I’m glad I saved my tops and cloned them, I mean why throw them away right 🤷♂️🏾! Blue is in 48 hours of darkness currently, almost time to harvest her. Two more weeks for northern lights and clone. Three weeks for banana purple punch 😎. Happy planting peeps
Blue dream was certainly a dream to grow! No topping just low stress training and I think my dry weight may be 3.5 to 4 oz. She’s been drying for 4 days so far and she has about 3 to go. I’ll keep you posted. She’s very sticky and full of sugary trichomes plus she has a sweet blue berry and sweet smell 😎. Would grow again!
She smokes as advertised! She has a fruity flavor and scent. Dried her in the pot before hanging her whole for a few days then cut the branches to dry individually. Took about 7 days total. I had to have a test smoke 💨 only 2 days into cure and she was amazing! I can’t wait to try her once she fully cures! Happy harvest peeps 😎
Cycling these girls outa the tent and into a dark tent lol! The time has come to harvest northern lights and banana purple punch 🥊 is not far behind. Definitely growing these in the future!
Northern lights took more time than expected however I’m satisfied with the outcome. I harvested her clone early and I found her to have a spicy earthy taste. Haven’t tasted the mother plant yet but I’m sure she will be better. .67
Great healthy growth. Probably my least favorite as far as taste but she smokes well. Potency is on point for sure, she has a chill high that lasts about 2 hours. When I taste the mother plant I’ll update. Happy planting peeps 😎
@BudBoutique, I use the stones to keep the medium moist, I have the girls on a strict watering and feeding schedule. So the stones prevent me from overwatering 😎.
