I started 3 of 5 seeds in their final pots, they are the larger ones. The other 2 were germinated in red solos, then transplanted into pots that had differents strains which were either mosaic or bad genetics and got plucked. I had a seed problem in another grow that I gave up on and ordered these as replacements. Those 2 seedling are smaller and not as vigorous as the 3 sisters that were started in their final pots. They all popped in 72hours. I got these new beans from Colorado Breeder-Trilogene, via Seedsman. Took a few days(regular shipping in US is fast), way better to do this than keep struggling for a whole grow with bad plants. Fox Farm soils mixed and amended for the substrate. Watering with Rain Water. I add 1/4 teaspoon of GHE micro, 1.5 teaspoons of Calmag per gal. , then a 1/4 tsp of fulvic acid. Every 2 weeks I'll brew a compost tea and feed that.
Went back and did some checking in my notes. Planted these on September 25th and they popped on the 28th, so this is day 10. Really just putting this down for me , short term is shot. OK watering every other day to 23-24 lbs full. Dry pots are 16-18, right now I'm losing 1 lbs of water per day. Every other day I feed a quart (2 lbs) no run off. Next week they will get there fist compost drench, probably after LSTed and topping
Day 16 starting LST and topped 3 plants. Watered with rainwater- calmag, azomite. The small one in the middle got fimmed. And will possibly not need much LST. Or if the tent gets overcrowded, I can super crop it and move it into the 2x4 tent later on.
Healthy plants, close to being ready to flip. I got them stretched out a little,
llollipop. Fed compost tea at a 50/50 MIX with water. Then yesterday top dressed with bud and bloom dry amendments and watered in with banana water in prep for strech.
Fed compost tea. Watering 1 gallon every 3 days per plant. This strain is very leggy and likes to stretch 3 inches between nodes, keeping day and night temp range in a 10°F window to minimize. Probably a better outdoor strain. I flipped it a little earlier than I wanted because of the growth rate. Maybe cut back the hours in veg to 16 or mainline this strain next time. This is a very vigorous strain that is leggy but also has very sturdy stems. She needed several stems removed. I don't ScrOG but that would be a great option for this strain.
Fed compost tea then next watering 3 days later I top dressed with .25 cup Dr Earth Bud & Bloom and a teaspoon of langbeinite each and watered in. Removed some branches.
Just water. About a week to ten days they'll be done. As I harvested the other grow I spread these plants out, 3 are in the original 4x4 tent, the 2 biggest plants were moved into the 3x5 tent. Healthy plants no problems.
Still going, just using rain water starting to see a little amber on 2 plants so maybe those are ready in a day or 3. I've been watering the last two times enough to get a little run off. I've measured the TDS and its between 600 and 1200 ppm with the ph of the run off at about 6.6 average.
2 plants are still going, 3 were harvested this week and are hanging to dry I tally everything once I chop and dry these last 2 which should be in a day or 2. This was the end of week 14
Very good sativa. Stickiest buds I've ever seen, I cured a half ounce of it in a week and pulled a little bud out last night . They are full of resin, the banana smell is definitely there. Took 3 tokes on a joint last night very smooth and very little expansion. Finished that bud off today in a 3 glass bowls. The high is very good not much taste a little incense from the Chemdog. It last about 5-6 hours, yes really and I've been toking for over fifty years, it creeps up on you in 15min so easy does it. Thick pungent heavy smoke that creeps and doesn't make me cough, half bowl not packed to tight is almost like smoking hash. Great genetics, killer weed. My mind is going and my body is numb. This is some seriosly good medicinal weed as well, great for gout and artritic pain, also good for insomnia and appetite. Some of the best. Thanks Trilogene.
Easy grow easy trim. 60-70 days in flower. No need for trim really, if you just hand strip the fan leaves the rest ofit is all snow and resin. Dry bud total on 5 plants was 676gm about 24
@Loserofthemonth, Yeah i thought the sticks are for training. Thats smart and very well done! Now i want to make a frame myself😂😂😂 Thank you for the inspiration buddy🌱🌞🍀
@Herbie101, thanks Brutha in a week or 2 you will see wire hoops that maintain the lst by anchoring to the bamboo frames at the corners with just 4 garden ties. Makes hand watering a lot easier and less messy. The frames make it a lot easier to spread her out from the start of training, awithout pulling the sides of the pots in. Thanks again!
