Permanent Marker

Going great so far, excited for this strain. Its parents are some great strains al 3 of them especially Jelousy and Biscotti 🤤! Trying to decide wether or not to Scrog, I have never tried it before but since this grow has several strains I think it would be the best way to try and keep them all at an even level. Not sure where to go with it yet!

Did not transplant yet as the roots are still growing, but will transplant this week into 5 gallon air pot. Growing pretty quick, excited for this strain!

A little rough week for Permanent Marker, stunted when transplanted to the 5 gallon air pot. Seems like she will be behind from the others,have not fed anything to her till she bounce back.

Doing well so far, this week looked promising. Gave it its first nutrition feed we will see how that goes. Still waiting for gender reveal, looks like some gender signs are showing up but still not definitive of what it is. I’m going with female pistils because of the spades ♠️ like shape but still need more development! What do you think from the looks of the pics posted this week?!

PermanentMarker is officially a FEMALE!!! She has been doing very well and ready to flower, but with the Auto sharing space alongside the Photos she will be vegging for maybe another month. Which is why I decided to add the trellis to tame them in the meantime as the Auto continues. Raised the lights height and intensity from 40% to 50%

The main stem on this is pretty heavy and I’m trying to train it a little but it’s pretty sturdy and full of bud sites so I don’t want to damage it, and she still has a lot of vegging to do unless I switch to 12/12 and cut the hours on the Auto sharing space! She has been doing great and growing fast, I have been defoliating a little and tucking the sites under trellis.

Doing very well and looking healthy, this is one of the strains I’m excited about but the veg time I’m going with has me worried. Concerns of space and growth has me debating wether to flip to 12/12 or continue the 18/6 light schedule to finish the Auto and give the Photos more veg time. I would like to veg them till the Auto finish, harvest the Auto and distribute the Photos bud sites/branches evenly through out the scrog before flipping to 12/12. Not sure if to change plans now or stick to the initial plan. As long as things continue going well and growth stays strong and healthy, I will be happy with either route!

Doing well and looking well, ready for 12/12 but the Auto growing with it is holding her back from the flip. She is thirsty every 2 days, growing strong and hoping she smells strong like markers lol!

Permanent Marker is doing well and growing great, needs a little defoliation but can’t really reach her comfortably to work with her. Also would like to tuck sites under trellis but no space to continue filling up and again can’t reach comfortable to do so. She has been pretty thirsty of course as she is still in veg two months later. Will have to think of flipping to 12/12 soon, hoping the Auto finishes quickly.

She is looking amazing and promising, hoping to get in there and rearrange her soon as the Auto is out of there. This week she had a major growth explosion I’m guessing it was from the Grow A&B nutes I up the dose a little from 8mL/gal to 12mL/gal. They all enjoyed that dose and showed some gratitude.

Crazy growth this week despite a little under watering due to being busy around the house for the holidays. Fed her this week and she came back happier, need to figure out how to tame them before the flip to 12/12 because they are monstrous. Beautiful plants though!

Beautiful flower and large growth, did heavy defoliation as she is bushy and she needs some air circulation underneath. She looks like she will be a nice bud giver lol. Will be harvesting the Autoflower growing in the tent before adding the trellis back in for the Photoperiods to start flowering within 2 weeks.

Good week for Permanent Marker after defoliation she really perked up. She is pretty big and wide so I’m hoping I can add the trellis soon to manage them better before flipping to 12/12. It’s been a long veg for these ladies!

Finally harvested the Autoflower and now the Photos have the tent all to themselves. Cleaned the equipments along with the tent and rearranged the plants, also added the trellis back to spread the bud sites. They were a bit stressed but bounced back fast. Defoliated and pruned heavily before adding the trellis, also have been feeding some calmag which picked them back up a little also. Today Monday January 15, 2024 I flipped them to 12/12!!

Finally into the first week after 12/12 flip. Seem like they couldn’t wait any longer to flower lol they are stretching just not as much YET! Hopefully not a lot either in the next couple weeks. But about 1.5 of stretch so far.

Beautiful plant growing nicely, first week has stretched about 4 inches so far. Bud sites already forming and she is loving the light after increasing the LED grow light intensity from 50% to 60% so basically from 500w to 600w. Did some defoliation under trellis and this week I will prune fan leaves for the last time. Smell is starting to come through early and it’s pretty decent. Deficiencies seem to have corrected and they look healthy.

Permanent Marker doing very well and smelling nice already on her third week flowering. Bud sites forming nicely and a small amount of trichomes showing. Did some pruning maybe not enough but wanted to be safe so cleaned them up just a bit.

Things are starting to get interesting and exciting, she is smelling pungent. Buds are developing and trichomes are shining! There might be a slight deficiency in there which I’m trying to figure out and the only thing I’m giving half of is sensi calmag so hopefully I can catch it on time. Beautiful flower excited for this strain.

Buds are starting to look like well buds lol calyx are swelling under new calyx forming. These are going to be some dense buds a few branches already tipping over, I had to tie them to some string for support. Trichomes continue to stack nicely and the smell wow strong and pungent..diesel, fuel nd sour with a reminiscent scent of literal permanent marker. Purple has been coming in for the past two weeks so I’ve tried to keep temps around 65 during lights off. I like colors on buds but don’t want any slow growth in any way specially due to cold temp in this crucial time in flowering.

She is budding up good and frosting up great, was hoping to see better yields but looks like they are dense buds so the weight might be there. Hoping for more pistils and calyx production before finishing after adding Overdrive. But looks like I might have stumbled on some issues maybe environmental at some point during late flowering that caused them to stunt bud growth! Colors are coming in on leaves, buds and pistils, smell is crazy it’s nearly reaching outside the house. It’s a diesel, fuel, skunky, chemical scent and honestly I can actually smell a permanent marker from it! Besides everything else she is looking good and maybe two more weeks I’ll start flushing!! Am considering trying AutoPots soon, maybe 6 Pot Pro system 3.9gal!

Permanent Marker doing well still swelling and producing trichomes nicely. Scent is getting stronger and pistils are turning a nice vibrant orange. Branches have been falling over because of heavy dense buds and about 70% of the plant is tied with string to hold them up. This week I fed bloom nutes at half strength, soon I will start Flawless Finish and flushing. Dropped temps at night to 60°F-62°F and increased UV light from 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours now in mid day of light on!

Permanent Marker I have to say this might be my favorite strain scent and appearance I have ever grown. This thing is F*ckin INSANE it reeks of diesel, skunk, chemicals, sharpies and acetone it’s seriously something I wouldn’t expect a plant to produce. I’m hoping that scent carries through after drying and curing. She has bulked up nicely the buds were falling over I had to tie them up to keep them upright. Removed some big fan leaves and a few that were covering lower bud sites. Pistils are completely receding dark orange, been flushing for a week now as I’m expecting trichomes to ripen more before harvesting! WISH I WOULD HAVE TOOK A CLONE FROM HER UGH 😩..perfect for breeding with another perfect strain’s pheno!

Trichomes are ripening and she is definitely flushed out. Been using only water for two weeks now with some Flawless Finish once a week. Lowered light intensity from 60% to 50% and stopped supplementing UV maybe a week ago. She has gotten a very deep purple color and pistils have receded nicely turning a bright orange. Scent in the house has settled down but the scent on her when rubbed is still very pungent with the same smell as described before! Can’t wait to harvest this one coming next week!! 🤪

Finally harvested the sinus busting strain Permanent Marker! Was excited to hang her to dry knowing it’s a step closer to curing and final results lol! She is STINKY woww and the colors are also a nice hue added. Can’t wait to share my thoughts on the bud smoke 💨 after all this tease she has been giving for months! Hope more people decide to grow this strain and get a pheno similar to mines with a strong stench.
