Seeds were soaked in tap water in a shot glass until they split. Split seeds were transferred to a wet paper towel in a plastic bag and left in a warm dark location. Once a tap root developed the seeds were placed in a fabric pot with potting spoil in it.
At this point in the process I didn’t have any nutrients or even pH tools yet so water was plain tap water.
Seeds were kept next to a warm reptile light between two ceramic plates to keep them warm. Make sure to add water to the bag to keep it damp but not soaking wet.
Lights were kept on a 18-6 light:dark schedule. I probably had the light too far away and could have had it closer and simply turned the brightness farther down. Not a lot of light is required at this stage.
