MSNL M.A.C Miracle alien cookies Hi everybody I am back after a bit of a break. For my first diaries of the coming summer I have been lucky enough to recieve some seeds from MSNL seedbank. I decided that the strains I wanted to grow would be cookies crosses as they usually produce the goods . This diary is MAC Miracle alien cookies and below is some info about the strain. MAC aka Miracle Alien Cookies has landrace lineage and is a Cannabis Cup winning strain. The equal indica to sativa ratio will relax and uplift the mood whilst inspiring creativity and allow you to focus. A potent strain easily reaching 20-24%, which has made it a popular choice for pain relief. Requiring careful monitoring of nutrients and environmental conditions for optimal growth, this strain may be better suited to experienced growers. Although the extra care and attention will pay off with hefty yields of 400-500gr/m² that are sticky with a potent layer of resin. Ideal for indoors or outdoor growth, the plants stick to medium heights around 100cm-180cm (3 ft - 6ft). That means it can be easily shaped for small grow spaces and lower ceiling heights. MAC seeds have a flowering time of 8-10 weeks and prefer warm and mediterranean-like conditions. Genetics Alien Cookies X (Colombian X Starfighter) Harvest 400 - 500 g/m² THC 20.0 - 24.0% The plan is to start the seedlings in 7L pots of my own soil mix before transplanting them into a raised garden bed of living soil . I'll also use companion planting practices to help deter pests and disease. I hope you can follow along for the summer . Grey_Wolf

Temps are on the rise where I live in Australia, as are the daylight hours so expecting these two girls to really start to move in the coming weeks. For now I am just providing adequate amounts of water and letting the sunshine and warmth do the rest. on day 7 I gave them some mycorhizae Day 12 ( today ) some seaweed solution Once the plants are a little bigger , they can be transplanted into their final grow site . Thanks for stopping by 👍

MSNL MAC Week 3 These two young ladies are looking good. They are looking very Indica dominant with their leaf shape, fingers crossed I end up with a couple of beaut Phenotypes. 🙏 No feeds needed with my soil , but I do like to give my plants a weekly dose of seaweed solution with a little mycorhizae mixed in. 💪 The seaweed helps with root growth as well as giving my plants extra strength against heat stress. Once the plants have 5 sets of leaves I'll begin the process of topping and training in order to achieve maximum yeild whilst also keeping each plant more discreet and manageable. Well that is all for this week , Thankyou for stopping by 👍

MSNL MAC G'day from the Australian Outback 👊 Both Miracle Alien cookie plants are looking very healthy and are most definitely growing a lot better than the Gorilla cookies I started at the same time!! I have done the very first of many planned toppings by removing the top node leaving 5 sets below it. Each plant will very soon be moved into their final grow out positions. Plant #1 will be transplanted into a 2m x 1m Garden bed filled with my own living soil mix that already has some sweet corn growing in there . Plant #2 will go into an old washing machine tub filled with the same soil mix and will share space with some dill and a random tree that came up over winter. My old man reckons it could be a Lilly Pilly , so or now will just assume it is. Both plants will recieve multiple topping over their vegetative growth cycle in order to keep the plant bushy with numerous branches rather than tall and not so discreet. That is about all I have to report this week , Thankyou for stopping by and reading my updates . 👍

Miracle Alien Cookies My laptop screen fucking died on me So I'm having to do updates with my phone. Both plants are showing signs of nutrient deficiency after being transplanted into their final positions , it's because the soils ph was different and not as nutrient rich as the pots they began life in. I anticipated this and added the extra amendments but those bottom leaves won't recover. Thanks for stopping by

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies 17th November 2024 A couple of days late with my update , was waiting on my new laptop . Both plants are looking a lot better this week as they soak up the nutrients they were requiring. They are now ready for me to begin some LST training. My main goal with both plants , is to achieve as much yield as i possibly can whilst keeping the plants as discreet as possible. ie medium height plants with lots of branching and tying down will hopefully create lots of colas , limiting the amount of popcorn lowers by doing a bit of defol should also redirect energy into the main buds . 💪 It is still spring here in Australia , but the temps have risen to what we get in summer . Today and tomorrow is forecast to get up to 39 celcius and only drop to 24 overnight. 😥 If this trend continues , I hate to imagine what it's going to be like mid summer 😐 Thanks again for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Gday from Downunder 👊 It has been warmer than a Koalas bum over here in the West . Despite this the two MAC plants are looking much healthier than when I first transplanted them a couple of weeks back 👌 As you can see from the pictures above , I have done some basic LST using some tent pegs to pin each main branch down . My goal as mentioned before is to create as even a canopy as I can , keeping the plants discreet but also hopefully high yielding . Thankyou for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 Friday 15th Dec 2023 Hey all despite the extremely hot weather , both plants are growing well. I took a couple of cuttings from each plant and will plant them out in my garden once they are fully rooted and growing. I continue to mainline plant 1 and use LST on plant 2 and will need to top them both once again soon. Thats about it for this week , thankyou for stopping by 👍

MSNL miracle alien cookies 22nd December 2023 Hi all Ive continued to train both Mac plants and they are responding very well to their training 👊 the white residue is NOT powdery mildew , it is Diatomaceous earth . I have sprayed it onto all my plants as its far too hot to spray other types of insect deterrents . That is all for this weeks update and before I go , I would like to wish you all a very merry and safe Christmas 🙏 thanks heaps for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 Dec 29th 2023 Hi all I hope that you had a great Xmas both Mac plants are still being trained and because I topped again last week , I expect a few more branches before the stretch starts in around 4 weeks or maybe less? I also planted out 4 clones into various empty spots thruout my garden. There are two of each phenotype so 2 mac 1 clones and 2 mac 2 clones 👊 I know that they won't get very big before flowering begins , but hey any extra harvest material is always a bonus . Thanks again for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 5th Jan 2024 Happy New Year 😀 Okay so Plant 1 is still developing beautifully and creating new branches everyday. I expect some serious growth will be coming in the next few weeks . Plant 2 however , has strangely decided that she is ready to flower 😯 I didn't really even notice because of the lack of preflowering stretch with this phenotype. Thats about all to report so as usual Thanks again for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 12th Jan 2024 Mac phenotype #1 She is starting the stretch 😃 I have been busy keeping the canopy even by staking down the branches as they grow . It was an extremely HOT week here and then we had a dumping of rain from a thunderstorm . Mac pheno #2 This one has begun flowering already , but I am not that impressed with the leaf to calyx ratio. she looks like it'll be a bastard to trim 😁 Thankyou very much for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 19th Jan 2024 The stretch has started on Mac plant #1 after last years dramas with catterpillars I have now covered this girl with some insect netting . She is looking really vibrant and seems to be taking the extremely hot weather in it's stride. The best clone of mac #1 is also doing well 😊 Mac #2 Also gets covered with netting and is developing flowers despite the daylight hours here still being 13.4 hours per day which I find quite interesting . The plant itself is nothing special , it has far too many leaves compared to buds but it could be a good smoke we'll have to wait and see. Thankyou all for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 26th Jan 2024 Another extremely hot week!! It got to 47 twice , rest of the week was around 45 . Yesterday we finally had around 40mm of rain which has dramatically cooled the air here. Such sweet relief not having to sleep when it stays above 30 overnight. The better Mac pheno which I label as #1 is now transitioning into flowering. I have erected insect netting over her to stop those bloody catterpillars which caused me many dramas last summer. Mac #2 is still the same , I gave her a haircut to allow more light and air to get into the buds as she was very leafy . Thankyou for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 2nd Feb 2024 Boom! They are stretching 👊 Mac #1 is looking really good and is on track for a good yield . The clone from Mac #1 is also getting fairly big and also looks fantastic. Mac #2 still looks fairly ordinary from my perspective . I can't wait for those buds to start developing Thankyou for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 9th Feb 2024 G'day 😉 I am very happy with how the Miracle alien cookies phenotype #1 is doing . great stretch and a nice aroma beginning to develop . Also check out how quickly the clone from mac 1 has developed!! Mac #2 isn't all that impressive but ticking along . Will give them all a little phosphorus in the form of mineralised bat guano in the coming days , just to boost the flowering production. Thanks once again for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 16th Feb 2024 Starting to see the flowers now 😀 The mac plant #1 has finished the stretch and is busy developing pistils . As is the clone from Mac #1 💪 I won't post any more pics of the other plant #2 as I find it very disapointing which just goes to show just how much variation can be had when growing from seed and its well worth growing more than 1 just incase you do get the odd dud phenotype. Pheno #1 on the other hand has so far ticked all the boxes such as good vigor , good structure , easy to train , easy to clone and so far seems to handle extremely hot weather easily . The final proof of coarse will be the quality of the end harvest . Thats about all for this week , Thanks again for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 23rd Feb 2024 A day late sorry, This past week was the hottest I have experienced so far this summer , and that is saying something! Last Sunday , it got to 48.4 celcius 😕 The bitumen on the roads was melting , Birds were taking shade wherever they could with their beaks open basically struggling with the heat. 😔 I needed to cover most of my garden with shadecloth during the days and water extra early as the water coming out of the tap was about 35 degrees. once the sun came up. Spare a thought for the people about 700kms west of me on the coast who had consectutive days of nearly 50 degrees 😥 That is crazy hot . Now for the plants themselves , I must give MSNL credit for breeding a variety that seems to handle the extreme temps with relative ease 💪 The main plant MAC #1 is budding up nicely now as is the clone from her in the other picture. Thankyou once again for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 8th March 2024 Hi all 😃 I sprayed the plants with a diatomaceous earth / water mix . I did this to combat a recent thrip attack but it will probably be washed off if it rains this week. Thats not a bad thing as DE is good for the soil health . The mum plant ( Mac 1 ) is really fattening nicely and smells very cookies like. 😍 The clone from her is also doing very nicely . 👊 I have a nice Afghan skunk haze male with an incredible smell that I'll be crossing with the cloned plant . 💪 Well that is about all for this week , cheers again for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 22nd March 2024 👉 The thickest colas were under major catterpillar attack and because they were almost ready I harvested thosebuds I then gave them a good wash and allowed them to dry enough to be trimmed and put into a paper bag . 👉 I sprayed the rest of the main plant and the clone with some dipel catterpillar killer (organic) and I'll wash the hell out of them when harvested in a few weeks . 👉 Another clone I took from the original mum (Mac 1 ) is being pollinated with an Afghan skunk haze male plant. Should get plenty of F1's to test 😎 Thanks again for stopping by 👍

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2024 4th April 2024 Well Gday again everyone 😁 Today was harvest and bud wash day , I waited until this evening to do the chopping and have washed all of the buds . They are happily hanging up to dry . I left two plants with buds on them as they are seed bearers and need more time. But so far I have about 5 oz dry another 2-3 oz in the freezer bcoz I'm attempting freezer drying plus what I chopped today which should be an easy 8oz atleast. Coming up very soon is the harvest report , I'll have a sample bud tonight and do a write up . Thanks for stopping by 👍

Happy Harvest Day!
9/10
Rated
Miracle Alien Cookies is a highy reccomendable strain and I enjoyed it immensely. I waited a full week after the main harvest so that I could sample a bud or two for a review. Firstly I tried a small bowl in my portable vape and it was amazing! both in flavor and potency. Instant hit between the eyes followed by a whole body relaxation . Over the last few days, I also had a couple of bongs and a Joint just to get an all round impression of the strains merits. Grown outdoors in my living soil garden gave the classic cookies flavor an earthy natural blend that I really really am enjoying. Score out of 10 per gategory I give to all my grows Germination and vegetation stage - germinating was a no drama issue and they had fairly good early vigor The vegetative stage was also good with plenty of leaf and branch development each week Score 9/10 Suitability for taking cuttings with high success- 10/10 Ease of training the plant without stressing or breaking it- 9/10 Flowering stage- Miracle alien cookies set flower quickly and develeped nice and fast , fattening up week by week. giving off ever increasing levels of cookie dough aroma intensity. 9/10 Harvested and dried bud quality against 10 being the best I've ever had and 0 for the worst hay tasting shit ever- 7/10 So overall good scores for the MSNL miracle alien cookies variety *these scores are my opinion only*

MSNL Miracle Alien Cookies Summer 2023 12th April 2024 HARVEST TIME Well after almost 6 months of growing my Miracle Alien Cookies diary is done Once again I would like to thank @MSNL seeds for the kind oppurtunity to try this variety. MAC seeds have a flowering time of 8-10 weeks The entire grow was fairly easy and trouble free except for a mid flowering catterpillar attack that I managed to fix before any damage was done. It is a very easy strain to grow and train , it was very pliant to my attempt at mainlining and HST. The branches were easily manipulated to the way I wished them to grow using tie downs etc. The final yield is already at 9 oz dried buds , with more still in the drying process (mostly lowers) and another clone from the mother that is chock full of seeds I created by crossing with an Afghan skunk haze male from Mr Nice seeds. They will be tested when I get a chance . Before I sign off from this diary I would also like to thank You , for the likes and views each week. 😉 so once again Thankyou for stopping by and I hope you can check out my other diaries. 👍 Grey_Wolf 12th April 2024
