Unfortunately, since birth, all the girls have experienced a bit of stress for various reasons, and all probably due to my negligence. I'm really sorry because they seem to be slowing down compared to the growth they should have after already a week and a bit more. Let's hope I didn't over-fertilize.. Well, we'll see how it goes, and I hope they recover a little over the course of the week, even though the initial growth period is always very delicate. It's clear that this time I wasn't able to treat them with the right care, but I acknowledge that, and from now on I'll try to be more present and not overdo it with the nutrients! Unfortunately, we had issues with the setup, which affected the stability of the growing conditions inside the box, and it all translated into a slowdown in the growth of our girls.. but I can already say with certainty that they are recovering, especially this one, maybe it's the fast-flowering genetics? Wastent91 Hey guys, this genetic variety is really super fast-growing! I've already topped it twice and removed some lower branches, but the plant is already about 30 cm tall! These fast-flowering genetics from Sweet Seeds are truly impressive; I didn't expect such early development! I hope I can manage it, and I think I'll give it another week before switching to flowering, otherwise I'll end up with giants that are impossible to control, and I want to have as many uniform buds as possible.. It's probably thanks to this fantastic super fast genetics, which is literally exploding with vitality, the whole plant! I've already done 4 toppings, but this beast is the most vigorous of all and is trying in every way to bulk up as much as possible, slowly gobbling up the available space from the other sisters. If I hadn't controlled her with topping, she would probably have already taken over the entire box! I can't wait to change the light hours and see them start to flower! It's going to be an intense time for both me and my girls! You can see, despite the non-professional photos, how turgid and thick the leaves and the main stem are; at each internode, it grows double, a really thick and muscular stalk like a bodybuilder! 😹 See you next week! Wastent91 Here we are, this is the girl that is growing the most of all! Could it be that she’s close to the air intake? I don’t think so, maybe this fast-growing genetic is making itself felt. I’ve topped her 4 times to limit her height, but I’m noticing that she has the thickest stem and consequently the most developed leaves and height in general. So this plant is doing spectacularly, growing at a nice speed, with a massive and sturdy trunk and many buds evenly distributed that are forming a sort of umbrella cover that I'm really liking aesthetically. I’ll probably have to do a bit of defoliation on the lower branches that aren't getting light, to direct all the nutrients to the higher buds that are forming a nice bush. It seems to be the biggest girl and the most advanced in overall development; I think it might be the fast-flowering genetics? We'll see. For now, it has a nice intense green color and all the parameters are correct. I'll increase the nutrients a bit in the coming weeks because I see these girls have an exaggerated hunger, and for now, I don't have any deficiencies or excesses... All of this is thanks to the Mars Hydro equipment that has made it possible for me to grow the best weed on planet Earth at home! Wastent91 Here we are at the second week of flowering, so the girl is the most impressive of the sisters, she has the widest canopy and seems to be ahead in flower development, maybe the fast-flowering genetics are starting to show compared to the others.. We'll see how the development continues, for now she has a nice, very robust and thick stem, I had to defoliate less than the others, probably she's already predisposed to have few but big buds! Wastent91 Here we are guys, everything seems to be going well here too. I'm noticing a color that's a bit too dark green, probably a little excess nitrogen, I guess. I need to reduce the fertilizer dose in the 11-liter pots, which apparently don't distribute the nutrients as well during watering as the larger pots do. It's normal that they eat less compared to their 15-liter sisters. I'll have to adjust the doses for each plant. Besides that, I had to do a little defoliation because the humidity rose to intolerable levels, due to the high density of all those close buds. In the end, there are 5 plants in a box of one meter by 180! I'm happy with how a good coverage of all the available space has formed, with a correct amount of buds more or less at the same height, so I trust in a uniform light penetration across the canopy of each plant. I hope they don't get too tall; I hope the stretching at the beginning of flowering is over and that only the buds grow and not more in height. Otherwise, I’ll have to come up with some solutions to avoid burning the buds too close to the LEDs. I thank Mars Hydro for allowing me to become, hopefully, a point of reference for you who follow me, and maybe you can also get some inspiration from what I do, so you can have the best medical weed in the world grown at home! As you can see with your own eyes how quickly all the buds are growing, ultra resinous and the fastest to swell! We'll see if this cross between an autoflowering and a photoperiod strain that produced this fast-flowering hybrid will really be able to mature before the sisters.. For now, it seems to be a little ahead in terms of the overall thickness development of the flowers, compared to the other plants that still don't have a satisfying structural density.. She's maturing perfectly and the fast flowering of the genetics has really shown, she's matured at least 2 weeks earlier than the others! Now another week of nutrient flushing, and we could already turn her upside down and do a nice smoked recap of the situation, which seems to be optimal! She's practically ready, about two weeks ahead of the others, and I have to say the colors are really spectacular! The buds are a bit small compared to the sisters, but they're as hard as rocks! I'm really not joking! It will be difficult to grind rocks packed with resin and THC like these! Soon I'll be harvesting, as you can see there's been an upgrade from Mars Hydro who sent me a new complete tent with the new FC 3000 evo light!!!! For now, I'm just using it to finish the flowering of this stunning phenotype that has come out! A sweet fruity and slightly spicy smell, I have to say I really like it a lot! I didn't have to do any trimming this time because I wanted to try drying the whole plant hanging more slowly, to have a product with a cleaner and smoother smoke during the session. I'll clean the buds once they're dry and I'll let you know more.. For now, a stunning reddish-purple color and an acidic smell of cola and tropical fruits fills the entire growing area! I can only thank all of you who follow me and enjoy my work, because it's mainly thanks to this magnificent community that I've reached the level I'm at now!
