This whole grow I’ve not had one problem with nute burn etc using Sohum soil with advanced nutrients organic nutes. Looks like the shortest plant will be ready weeks ahead of the others.

Should I only use organic nutrients in Sohum living soil if needed? I have the full line of advanced nutrients already but not the organic nutrients.

In my opinion its the Logic Thing To move on with organic topdressings. Look for living soil on www.growweedeasy.com For some theoretical Background

One more question. Would it be worth the risk to top these or just LST?

Would highly recomend to bend, tuck leaves, expose side branches, but no heavy harm, no defoliation, nothing till final flower stretch is over, then you can tune her/them a bit ... Let develop till that time without any castration or so ;)))

When looking at my plants compared to others mine are a deep green. Is that normal? Does it mean anything bad or good. Just strange how two different genes are so dark compared to others on this site.

Too much nitrogen in your feed. The darker the green measures the amount. Dark green turns shiney, and leather like. With clawing tips is generally close by for nitrogen toxicity.

Why do these two plants that are the same genetics look completely different at the start of flowering?

Seeds can display traits of each parents by themselves. or a blend of both. Or perhaps a seedling can resemble it's great grand parents. It's called Phenotypes. When breeders select their stock to breed they hunt for that 1 Phenotype that has the characteristics they want/seek.

When can I start trimming the bottom leaves to allow air circulation? How much can I do at a time as well?

Now or even a few days from now might be better. You want her to finish her stretch or close. If you lollipop the canopy I generally do 20 to 50 percent of bottom half of plant. You go too much it will hurt your yield. Smaller branches, under, and inside bud sites can be removed. Amount, I would just do it at once, Vs stressing her out over a long time. I would want to avoid making her hermi. I do most of all my plants to some degree or another. Feel free to take a look. Dm me if you have further questions.

By the looks of the trichomes would you say I still have a week or two on this one?

I think I'd go 2-3 more wks. Looks reflective still. It's a personal preference thing really. But I tht you would prefer a more milky amber color throughout. And more rusty hair.

Can you get seeds in your flower from just genetics? I grew 4 plants in which none ever showed any signs of stress but one of the plants has seeds in the bud . Any idea how this happened? It was the northern lights from seedsman.

it was prob nanners, Small yellow bananas in the flower that plants make end of life sometimes. They are one part of the male sexual reproductive system. Normally when cannabis has a fully functioning male anatomy, it has a bunch of nanners in a sack, sometimes referred to as "balls" and they tend to grow balls in bunches. When the balls open the pollen flys. Whole male parts, balls and sacks are much more fertile then single random lone nanners in flowers end of season. If you only have a few seeds its w/e, if you have many seeds then it could be a bit of an issue. The seeds might be more prone to growing nanners again. I would toss out the seeds or eat them, you could save them if your really desperate buy your asking for more issues down the road. Good Luck!

Actually yes, it probably reversed sex on its own unfortunately or turned hermaphroditic and pollinated herself. This does happen sometimes but less likely with better genetics....NL has been known to do so from time to time. It's always good to watch your plants especially if you're growing multiple strains from different breeders, to make sure this doesn't happen again. At least she only pollinated herself.

Pollen = seeds No pollen = no seeds. It is impossible to get seeds without at least one male flower somewhere. You can't get pregnant without eggs and sperm!

I’ve not given them any nutrients besides Mycorrhizal Fungi Root Enhancer. So it could just be the nutrients in the soil giving it too much nitrogen.

@CannabisFarmerGuyDude, I also pulled the strings out of the auto water pots. They was keeping the soil too wet. So just hand watering for now.

@CannabisFarmerGuyDude, The soil is Sohum. Plan on using Gaia Green organic nutes plus some advanced nutrients supplements like big bud etc organic also.

@James0848, they look great man! I see nothing to worry about yet. What kind of soil and no nutes yet right? Any idea of what you're going to do to feed?

Can the light from the microscope make the trichomes appear cloudy even though they are not? Just don’t want to make a mistake and ruin a harvest. Thanks
