Planted in jiffy pellet on afternoon of October 14. Conditions are RH 75%, Temperature at 71F. Will be transplanting to 2 gallon forever pot when germination is successful and cotyledons are visible. Will likely keep lights on 24 hours as to ensure temp and humidity doesn't drop as outside temps are dropping.
Oct 17 - Germinated roughly 4PM 3 days after planting, transplanted to forever pot
Oct 18 - Second seed Germinated, moved to forever pot.
Oct 18 - Cotyledons visible.
Oct 18 - Reduced humidity to 85%
Oct 19 - First serrated 'true' leaves appeared. Height is approx. 1.5" and 1.75". Moved small fan closer to seedlings to build a stronger stem. This fan isn't ideal (no oscillation) but hoping to be okay while they transition to veg.
Oct 19 - Gave 5 hours of darkness during the day, with large light leaks so may have been in vain. Temperature is cold outside, so managing temps within the 75-78F threshold has been difficult.
Oct 20 - Watered radius from seed as soil was beginning to dry out. Temps 79F, RH 80%
Oct 21 - Second set of true leaves appeared. Both seedlings are 2". Had one or two instances of 83F and perhaps low 60's at night. Humidity seems to be hovering around 77-85%.
Hoping the weather will stabilize soon.
Oct 22 - Not much growth, after watering yesterday. Perhaps .5" growth over 15 hours approx.
Oct 24 - Approx. 7cm tall
Oct 25 - 6.30PM Approx. 3" tall. Watered perhaps too early as the soil was not absolutely dry.
Oct 26 - Minimum RH is 75% (although set to 85%). Temp is 77.7F. Stems seem weak, so angled fan closer to plants to strengthen. Temp has raised to 82F periodically.
@BudBoutique, Thankyou! They're due another feeding in a couple of days - however I don't know if I should skip as they might be harvested in the next 2 weeks. Other thing I've noticed is there's some nitrogen toxicity due to clawing leaves and burnt tips. Having said that - do you have any suggestions? Definitely open to hearing advice!!
Last time fed was just under 3 weeks ago with Power Bloom, Worm Castings and All Purpose Dry amendments.
