Sejnik I decided to do an experimental grow where I'll be growing one plant using BioBizz nutrients and the other plant using live soil from Florganics FLO, which I'll prepare on the day of seed germination. So about 2-3 weeks before I transplant the plants into it. The plants grown with FLO will only be watered with rainwater until harvest.
All plants will be grown initially under the same conditions in 1L pots.
After transplanting into larger containers, I will start growing one plant using BioBizz nutrients.
The second plant will be transplanted into the pre-prepared mix.
I mixed together:
35L of Biobizz Lightmix
15L of coconut
5L of Florganics FLO
One full cup (300ml) of oats
200ml of worm shells with a high chitin content
I mixed the blend on the day of seed germination. I expect it will rest for about 2-3 weeks in a plastic container inside the tent where the temperature is 24°C before I use it for the first time. When I first transplant into this mix, I will dilute it for the vegetative stage. To the 5L of prepared mix with Florganics, I will add 5L of Biobizz Lightmix along with coconut in a 2:1 ratio. For the second transplant before the flowering phase, I will use the full dose.
I'm really looking forward to this grow. I enjoy experimenting and hope there will be a visible difference between the fertilized plants for comparison. I would like to focus on growing only in live soil in the future. After the harvest, I will recycle the used substrate and use it again.

Sejnik The girls have split into two camps.
I have 4 plants in the tent that are only a few hours apart in age, but the differences between them are really big.
2 girls are growing very fast and 2 are growing very slowly.
The smaller plants have seed shells left on the cotyledons. The very smallest one has leaf damage.
I think that's the reason for the difference in plant growth, because they have absolutely the same conditions otherwise.
I'll leave everything as it is for now. Later, I'll try to even out the size by stressing the larger plants.

Sejnik This week wasn't ideal. First, I forgot to give the girls water and they got a bit wilted. After I saw how wilted they were, I rushed and gave them too much water. I didn't realize they were still little girls. After watering, spots started appearing on the leaves, which were a sign of overwatering. This morning I came to the plants and 2 were wilted again 😅😅 the bigger skunk had slightly crispy lower leaves. Thank God it's just weed 😂 they'll bounce back. They need to be transplanted into bigger pots, but I'll leave them there for now and hope to slow down the growth of the bigger plants so the smaller ones can catch up. End of report 😁

The girls grown with Biobizz got a biobizz light mix and biobizz all mix 1:1.
The girls grown with Florganics received a pre-prepared mix (described in week 0) diluted with light mix and coconut 2:1 (florganic : light mix + coco).
The Skunk/Florganic that almost wilted a week ago has already recovered and started growing again, even though it has some cosmetic flaws, it won't affect the outcome.
The smaller plants have caught up a bit with the larger ones. Next week I'll start shaping them.

Sejnik All the girls look happy with their vibrant green colors. My only issue is the different sizes of the plants. In the middle of this week, I topped all the plants at the 4th node, and now each of the girls has 8 branches. I also used some LST to help light penetration for both skunks, which are growing very bushy.
For the plant with Florganics, I installed a Blumat drip irrigation system. My goal is to ensure the soil never dries out. Soil organisms unnecessarily die off, which is a big loss for living soil. I'm watering the plant with Biobizz manually and will only add nutrients during flowering since they have enough nutrients thanks to Biobizz All Mix. I will be transplanting the girls one more time, so until flowering, they will only rely on plain water.

Sejnik Another successful week in the tent is behind us. This week (15 days since the last transplant), I transplanted into the final 38L fabric pots because the roots were coming out of the substrate. I was surprised by how many roots the plant had that was growing with Florganics. Unfortunately, I was too quick with the transplanting and forgot to take pictures of the roots that were growing with Biobizz, but the difference was up to five times.
Skunk Biobizz got Biobizz all mix with an additional 5L perlite mix per pot. I will be watering these plants manually with Biobizz products. It received a watering with Alg-a-mic from Biobizz to help it overcome the stress from transplanting.
Skunk Florganics FLO got a prepared mix (see week 0) with a 5L perlite mix per pot. These plants are connected to the Blumat drip irrigation.
After transplanting, I spread the branches out to the sides and removed 2-4 leaves from each plant.

Sejnik 4 days after transplanting, it looked like the girls had overcome the transplant stress, and I decided to go for more training.
I cut the top off each of the 8 branches on each plant.
I removed every branch inside the plant that had no chance of getting light.
I removed every branch that was visibly smaller than its corresponding pair.
I removed every branch that was growing downwards.
I took off 4-6 leaves from each plant that couldn't be tucked away, so each branch had direct access to light.
I adjusted the wires to get the branches as flat as possible.
Using a thin wire, I bent some leaves so they wouldn't cover the branch.
3 days later
Skunk FLO recovered very quickly, and new growth is already visible.
Skunk BioBizz seems to have bounced back as well and will be growing soon.
The Skunk plants are really responding well to the training; they recover very quickly.

Sejnik So 😆 this week I made some light adjustments in the tent 😅
Both Skunk plants have recovered very quickly and are growing fast. Florganic is faster in every way, but Biobizz has prettier, greener colors. I removed a few leaves evenly from both plants for better air circulation. Florganics Skunk is only getting water using the Blumat irrigation system without PH adjustment. Biobizz is getting the listed nutrients.
I had one extra Skunk plant hidden in the box that I hadn't shown you, and now it's coming in handy to use. I was just growing it for fun in a 1L pot using the Main-line technique. I transplanted it into an 11L pot with prepared Florganics substrate and installed a drip irrigation system for it. By the way.. it's the same age as its 2 sisters, just chosen a different training method 🤔
So I have 3 Skunk plants in the tent. 2x Florganics 1x Biobizz.

Sejnik I've had a very successful week.
1)
In the middle of the week, I did some lollipopping. I didn't remove much, just the spots that would never get light. And a few branches that were growing slowly and towards the inside (there were 3 branches on each plant).
2)
I tightened my LST wires and added a few to the bigger branches to spread out the canopy.
3)
I only removed a few leaves that were covering the branches hidden inside the plants (about 5 leaves from each plant).
4)
I removed the humidifier because the plants are creating enough moisture on their own. Instead, I set up a dehumidifier inside that will be needed later in flowering. I placed a powerful circulating fan on the ground of the tent under the plants.
This training didn't slow the plants down at all, so 3 days later (61 days from germination), I set the lights to 12/12. Now I have absolutely all branches under the light, and in the following week, I'll just be tucking branches and trying to direct them for the best canopy layout.
Florganics FLO:
The girl is still very happy with just plain water. Watering with Blumat works perfectly. I have a moisture sensor stuck in the substrate in the middle between two drippers. I set the Blumat to show me the lower limit of 4-5 when the substrate is still moist (check the photo), because I assume that right under the dripper, the moisture will be significantly higher. I would appreciate your advice based on experience, as this is my first time growing this way.
Biobizz:
No complaints. Right now, I'm watering manually every 4 days with 5 liters of water mixed with the nutrients listed above ↑↑

During the week, I tucked in the branches that grew over the SCROG net, and every 3 days I gradually remove a few leaves. Now I'll let them grow upwards and continue with gradual defoliation.
The girls are happy, they lack nothing and have no excess.
Biobizz skunk (the plant in front) is getting the nutrients listed above. I'll start adding bloom fertilizers from the 2nd week of flowering.
Florganics skunk (the plant in the back) is only getting water.

Sejnik Everything is going as it should. At the end of the week, I did a bigger defoliation and removed several yellow leaves from the bottom of the plants that probably weren't getting any light. Nothing more happened. I'll do another smaller defoliation in the middle of the following week, and at the end of the week, I'll do a lollipop of everything that isn't getting any light. So almost everything under the SCROG net.
Biobizz Skunk:
I applied the first nutrients for flowering. I'm manually watering 8 liters of standing tap water with the nutrients (listed above) every 5 days.
Florganics Skunk:
Still just plain tap water using Blumat drip irrigation.
So far, I haven't noticed any significant differences in the test.

Sejnik The girls got 2x48w 95cm long lights for flowering that I strategically placed and lowered the light height to 35cm from the top of the plants. This definitely improved the light, but mainly the temperature in the tent has risen, and I now have a pleasant 23-24°C during the day.
In the middle of the week, I did another defoliation that the girls love so much. At the end of the week, I uncompromisingly removed everything below the SCROG net to eliminate airy buds. I want to focus only on big and solid buds.
Skunk Biobizz
Still getting the listed nutrients. They received a seaweed product to overcome stress.
Skunk Florganic
Still just plain water.
All the plants seem healthy and full of energy. We'll see how they handle the stress from the lollipopping.

Sejnik The differences between Florganics and Biobizz are now quite noticeable.
Biobizz has 2x larger buds (not big enough for the week they're in) and a greener color. I water every 3-4 days with 10 liters of water with the listed nutrients.
Florganics has small buds that aren't developing much, has light green leaves that are starting to turn purple. I added canna PK 13/14 because they obviously lack food.

Neskutečně odolný kmen, který je radost pěstovat. Skvěle zvládá i větší stres a dělá to z něj ideální odrůdu pro začátečníky.
Biobizz 166g:
Rostlina s těmito živinami měla viditelně větší květy a tmavě zelenou barvu. Na sklizeň jsem musel počkat asi o týden déle než za použití Florganics. Použití těchto živin je je snadné a při správném použití udělají svou práci. Po usušení vážily květy 166g.
Florganics 167g+72g:
Zde mám smíšené pocity. Měl jsem 2 rostliny. Jedna v 38l látkovém květináči. Druhá v 11l plastovém květináči. Obě měly stejné složení půdy a dostávaly stejnou vodu pomocí kapkové závlahy Blumat. Větší rostlina v určitém momentu zastavila vývoj květů a donutilo mě to k použití PK což ale nemělo moc smysl kvůli nerovnováze PH protože jsem jim ph neupravoval a dostávaly tedy kohoutkovou vodu pouze zabavenou chlóru s PH 7,8. Netuším kde se u této větší rostliny stala chyba. květy po usušení vážily 167g je to stejné jako u Biobizz.
Menší rostlina byla přesný opak. Květy byly velikostí téměř srovnatelné s Biobizz ale oproti Bb se jí lépe vyvíjely i spodní květy které měly menší přístup ke světlu. Zároveň byly i těžší a pevnější než u Biobizz a měly více pryskyřice a výraznější vůni. S touto menší rostlinou jsem byl velmi spokojen. Vyprodukovala 72g
Sám nevím jak zhodnotit výsledek testu Biobizz vs Florganics. Kdyby se u Florganics povedla větší rostlina stejně jako ta menší tak máme jasného vítěze ale očividně je zde prostor pro chyby které se pak dají jen těžko napravit. V testu jsem porovnaval pouze biobizz rostlinu vs větší Florganics. Váhově na tom byly téměř totožně (rozdíl pouze 1g suchých květů). Velice mě to překvapilo. Florganics měl více míst s květy a byl lépe prosvětlený a i spodní květy byly proto těžší. Zároveň byl se vice rozrostl a mel proto větší plochu ve stanu. Díky tomu zvládla dohnat Biobizz i na vzdory menším květům.. Podmínky sušení byly 17-18°C 50-55 RH a po 8 dnech bylo vše usušeno a dáno do sklenic. Vlhkost ve sklenících se pohybuje 62-65 RH. Přijde mi to dobré..

Hey @nonick123, thanks for following my grow. Outside the tent, it's 16-17°C all day now during winter. Sometimes even less depending on the outdoor temperature. I have a 95w heater and a smaller 45w one. With my maximum air extraction (360m³/h), they are absolutely useless. Through the speed controller, I've reduced the output to about 1/3 of the original power (around 120m³/h). The 95w heater that I have running nonstop raises the temperature by 2°C. I only turn on the 45w heater when it's really freezing outside, and it raises the temperature by another 1°C. It's essential to have reduced air extraction; otherwise, they don't have much effect. If you find a better and more efficient way, please let me know.

I was afraid of what you told me: that they can only raise the temperature by 1 or 2 °C....
I'm considering buying a portable thermal emitter with a thermostat and putting it inside the cabinet.
I've seen small 600W equipment that could be useful.
Another option is to install an air conditioning unit, but it can be expensive to buy and install...
