Think I may have given these gals the wrong amount last nutrient swap. I may have measured out 3gals of nutrients when I needed 4 - leaving my mixture diluted and causing them to throw up some yellow leaves/tiny bit of calmag spots/general deficiencies. These gals have also shown some heavey PH swings past .5 (could just as easily be the culprit, no real way for me to tell) Otherwise looking very good and heading strong into mid-flower / ripen! ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Signs of swelling, & smell is picking up. Lots of nice-looking colas between these 3 gals. -Need to start bringing up my defoliations / canopy a little bit. Small Defol for some light pen and a boost as we head into ripen. Sugar leaves are coming in hard and showing signs of amber - should be a fast ripen right at 8 weeks or less. Very Sticky! ~~~~~~~~~~ Questions & Feedback are welcomed, feel free to message me! Thanks for stopping by growmies! 🤙🤙🤙🙏🙏🙏

All 3 have very strong bag appeal and grew consistent and strong! One has hints of bubblegum, One Fruity (Mango?Blueberry?), and One Gas/Fuel. Overall, very sweet / fruity / bordering on candy! No cure needed - one of my favorite things to see in a strain! (Fast Flowering +++)

Bubblegum Popperz (Feminised Photoperiod) ~Premium Cultivars~ https://premiumcultivars.com/product/bubblegum-popperz-feminized-seeds/ Unkown Hybrid ~ ?Lemon Cherry Gelato? (Sunset Sherbet x Girl Scout Cookies) Flowering Time: 49-63 Days 20-30+% THC CBD Unknown ~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Dry Weight~ Right: 219.7g Left: 116.4g Back: 173.7g Total: 509.8g (34g of keif between 6x plants) ~~~~~~~~~~ 3 plants that I really can't complain too much about, very satisfactory! The power went out a couple times for the whole block at this new place - ugh! (~20 minutes each) and the garden showed 2/6 plants shoot out some low branch bananas (1 of these). Plucked/watered down and saw no more after. This was mid flower - as we know cannabis really doesn't like when the sun just disappears (its more an issue than a light leak, tenfold). The fact that only one wigged out is a sign of some consistent & very strong genetics! All moved AGAIN, so hopefully no more power outages. I'm in a newer part of town now, thankfully. This strain is considered "Moisture Sensitive" and therefore prone to mold/bud-rot. Note that I grow at a consistent 45-60% RH *at all times AND live in a place with a high mold count. (BT-k spray once a week*) ~~~~~~~~~~ In-depth information regarding my day-to-day / common practice may be found on the front page of my profile (in the comments). ~~~ https://bit.ly/3MplXqf ^^^GrowAce Affiliate Link^^^ Use this if you want to show some support! Awesome grow diary! Only Bubblegum PepperZ (BP) strain I've found. I wanted to grow MAC1 again for 3rd time (outdoors), couldn't find any. Klone provider recommended BP cuz 50/50% sativa/indicus. Late start, nearing harvest, watching trichomes... Curious about your closing comment, "No cure needed - one of my favorite things to see in a strain!" Hmmm, never heard of that... Thought all strains improved by curing. Care to elaborate.

@Garyhaeck, And this still cured up nicely - I started smoking on it immedietly cause it was just that good. Two weeks+ in a freezer bag and it was noticebly stronger :)
TickleToast
TickleToastcommented4 months ago
@Garyhaeck, it's not as common for a strain to be "bag ready" right out of dry. It's a small part of "Striking Gold" with a strain. Of course, you're not wrong - if you dried properly you'll get stronger bag appeal after a proper cure - but not HAVING to is a small luxury for a home grower like myself.

Clean looking setup however black buckets (black anything really) absorbs radiant heat and thus creates a negative atmosphere for said environment both inside and outside your DWC system - setting up stages for dreaded bacteria to thrive......and it will happen it's the life cycle. DWC is not for cannabis although we have options to grow all crops - this is not the one for cannabis - were not EATING the biomass.....thus the reason for true living soil or time is lost and monies that can and should be avoided at all costs. Be it as it may the situation can resolve itself very quickly with a 5 to 7 gallon transplant grow bag or pot (white preferred) and you won't regret it come week 3 or 4 in flower going (I wish I would've transplanted into soil) for just a quick nice easy solution go pick up some Purple Cow and just add water from start to finish. Or supplement with your own feed line !! Work Smart not HARD! Nothing but love and JahBless your way!

Correct, the horse drinks when its thirsty - learn to know when it needs drink. It's as simple as that. Good Luck to you growmie.

@TickleToast, Inexperience is not justification for ignoring science just pure blind intuition ? This is the state of affairs and why it will not be available to the general population in the very near future, and thank god for that! You can put a horse in front of water but you can't make it drink ;-) textbook! Love the plant and be loyal to the soil-food web - DWC you can't have a complete ecosystem period. Otherwise we would all be DWC just the way it is not the way you want to imagine it. JahBless and One Love!

@boutique_buddz, You are correct - black absorbs sunlight. However, I Insulate my Hydrobuckets and start with water ~60F, my temps stabilize after mixing and never exceed 76F. This, combined with adding a safe bacillus product - to my mix, allows me to avoid any such "dreaded bacteria". DWC is for any and all plants - it's up to us to work out the kinks for each individual plant - or in regards to cannabis, the strain. Nothing but love, Tickletoast
the end.
