HELP! THESE ARE OVER A MONTH OLD AND THEY LOOK LIKE 5 DAY OLD PLANTS I NEED HELP. IM GOING TO RESTART THIS IS TERRIBLE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IM DOING WRONG.
hey dude. so this looks like a problem I'm facing with my grow right here, and based on the similar factors - I'll leave you with a list of things I did wrong, so you can see if you made any mistakes I did too.-Unbuffered Coco. it's something to do with certain nutrients (one of which is Potassium I believe) being in the Coco that sap Calcium and Magnesium from your plants. Buffering your Coco by soaking it in a mixture of pH'd water (5.5-6.5, 5.8 seems to be the sweet spot) CalMag and then rinsing it before use, gives those Potassium nutrients something to bind to so they don't sap it from your plants.-Nitrogen deficiency. See those yellowing leaves? Surefire sign of Nitrogen deficiency. Nitrogen, as far as I know, aids in the production of Clorophyl, which helps your plant to photosynthesize and grow - that's why they're so small-Calcium/Magnesium deficiency. Older or lower leaves yellowing is also a sign of a potential cal/mag deficiency, most likely caused by the Cocos lack of nutrients.-Incorrect pH. I made the mistake of pH'ing my water preemptively, so I ended up with 5l of water pH'd down to 6.0, and using that over the course of a month basically. Bad idea. After a while the pH of water (and also nutrient mixture) will automatically begin to rise, taking it out of that golden 5.5-6.5 range.Incorrect pH can also cause a number of issues like irregular "deformed" growth, slow growth, and nutrient lock out. The golden range I referred to earlier allows for all the nutrients that cannabis needs to be absorbed into the roots. All nutrients have a different "absorption" pH range, and 5.5-6.5 allows for just that. Any more experienced growers please do correct any mistakes or misinformation. I'm no expert. These are the things I learnt by making these mistakes myself! Nothing but the best of luck on your next grow. Cheers friendEdit: fixed formatting
@gluuopiglab, Sorry to hear that mate 🤨
Did you find the problem? Something was causing the very slow growth which needs a to be rectified before you start again. Imo 👍
What strains are you growing this run mate?
Good luck 👍
All the best ✌️
Mark..
A nice new grow space my friend 👊
Nice to see our Critical+ in your selection along with 2 great strains from our friends at seedsman 👊
Let's see what you can do with our Critical. I have a feeling you are going to do great work 👊
Good luck mate. I'll drop back in on the next update ✌️
All the best
Mark..
@gluuopiglab, Thanks for letting me know which plant is our Critical mate 👍
My advice would be to slow down a little, pot into smaller pots and do repotting as needed. If you keep transplanting and digging up for smaller pots this will drastically slow the girl's down 👍
Personally I would go into a 2-5l pot. Let them get established then think about more medium 👊
I'll keep following along mate 👍
All the best ✌️
