DoubleDsTrees Sour Diesel Fem Hey all, this is the way I germinate my seeds and begin my grows in DWC. Step 1 - Obtain seeds - Crop King Seeds (Sour Diesel) Step 2 - Add nutrients to reservoir (200-300 ppms) Step 3 - Check pH and make adjustments Step 4 - Begin oxygenating the water Step 5 - Add Hydroton clay pellets to bottom of 3" net cups. Make a nice even layer. Step 6 - Put seed in rapid rooter 1/4" down below the surface Step 7 - Pack hydroton clay pellets around the outside of the rapid rooter blocking as much light as possible Step 8 - Readjust ph of reservoir after running air pumps through it for several minutes Step 9 - Submerge net cup + rapid rooter into pH'd reservoir until rooter is fully soaked Step 10 - Set net cup into lid and make sure net cup is 1/4-1/2" above water and bubbles are splashing up into the net cups Step 11 - Ensure there are zero light leaks Step 12 - Set reservoir into grow tent with correct lighting, temps, and humidity Now just sit back and watch the plant grow for the first 14-21 days without touching it at all! Don't disturb the young root systems by peaking and lifting roots out of the water. You can stress things out pretty badly by doing this. Once the plant appears to be hungry do a reservoir change and increase the nutrients.
