I discovered it was not growing as good as other one.
Soil was too fluffy with cocoa, was drying out too quick. Underwatering
Added other soil and re-mixed, replanted.
Stress continues after replanting into better soil.
Leaves are not pointed downwards anymore, but became yellow. Almost no hope to rescue...
Saved the bro, getting better now!
Leaves are getting greener and larger.
Stem is also thickening
Did a tightest topping to a newborn mid-stem. Hope I didnt damage anything.
Its time for this one to rest, recover and grow without any input for a while.
Last time did very early and dodgy topping, with a just-born vein.
It seems I didn't damage anything. Glad to see its other stems are coming.😎
Day 17
- gave it Micro 2ml earlier, because its in cocoa-rich soil and I think it needs more CalMag. (Will give CalMag only nutrients next time instead of Micro)
Day 19
- Mostly monitoring and some adjustments to make base shape and fixing leaves overlaping.
- new leaves are coming without light damage (curved-up leaf tips) 😎
- old ones still have that "pose". I wonder if they are going to go back to normal leaf shape and when?!
Day21
- Last day of week 3, almost broke 1 of the main stems during LST. Attached plaster to fix it in place, I wonder how much time will this take to recover.
Overal health for today is good.
Day23:
Upgraded my box with a Humidifier and humidity meter.
Still figuring out how much power should I put it on to maintain good humidity level.
Overall health looks good. After some days I'll spread out it a little using LST to get more light coverage.
Day24:
Removed some old leaves that were mostly in shade or shading other newer leaf.
Continuing LST, getting into shape. Trying to be careful with the damaged stem.
Day25:
All good, some more twisting.
As I see, I could manage to plant in one end of the pot and grow it to other.
Now its time for vertical grow and a little bit spread-out for the sides.
Looking Healthy.
Weather: Heavy Fog before night time
Day28
More LST and full area is covered now.
time to get some height
Day30
Defoliation
Since its getting close to flowering, removed some bottom fan leaves, I believe she'll grow current leaves, next to bud-sites, bigger.
Now I can see better the structure I was creating. It looks ok.
Raised Lights, brightness increased to 75%
Day31
Still getting stressed by light (flower tips are getting brighter, I also see one or two leaves are being distorted by light)
back to 50% power. Keeping light on same height.
I think now I have finalized LST training, You can see it in day31 photos how colas are spread out.
p.s. grouped photos for same angle, instead of "by date" order.
Day35 Defoliation
Heavy defoliations before flowering. 2 of 4 main budsites are looking strong, 2 of them are less juicy.
Removed bottom, popcorn budsites.
This one is quiiite bushye
Day36 After Defoliation
feeling fine after defol.
Day37
From the top, screen of leaves look fantastic. Some of them are overlapping and I cant fix it right now, because most of them are on the same height. Cant layer properly.
I don't want to spread main buds even more outside. Trying to get some vertical growth. Any recommendation would be appreciated. (I defoliated last week).
Overall health looks nice, some leaf damage here and there. Probably light stress and/or cal/mag overdose I did some time ago.
In pictures now its visible that color are getting greener, instead of being yellowish. I gave "micro", it contains almost same as calmag and Im out of calmag.
Im still wondering if Im feeding this one properly, because its in coco and definitely has some nutrients deficiency.
Day38
Added nutes - Advanced Nutrients flowering Week1
Day51
Cut off most of shadowy areas, there were so many, some still remaining.
Day57
I didnt notice it leaves changing to pale green or yellowish. She's asking for nutes. I gave nutes.
All happy.
note to self: because of coco based medium, nute deficiency comes with faster rate, also visible even faster on leaves compared to soil based mediums.
Excpecting dark green color comes back in 2 days. lets see
A little bit weak week,
Got trimmed to get better light. Nutes are coming as usual.
Yellowish color is because I forgot to give water on time and cold temperature in the room. Fixed in next weeks.
69 days
Now Im using 95% of the area of growbox.
Spread out stems even more,
Shady bud sites and leaves had been removed.
Not much white dropllets on the budsites yet.
75 days
