Seem nice and healthy. Went from needing water around once a week to every other day. Just under 2.5 gallons between the two plants before I get runoff.

Should I start defoliating some of the leaves around the bottom which aren't getting much light?

Yes, If your plant starts getting so bushy that no light is making it down to the floor through the plant, it's time to “clean” the bottom of the plant. First start by removing any tiny growth tips on the lower part of stems that will never be able to reach the light anyway.

Did a little LST yesterday, using some ties to spread things out a bit and they've already turned to the light. Defoliated a bit around the lower leaves to provide more airflow low down and remove some of the big stuff that was no longer getting light.

Things seem to be going well. Been watering every other day or every 3 days, once the soil seems dry. Did just lower the humidity threshold for the exhaust fan to try to lower things a little bit.

HighOnMySupplystarted grow question a year ago
Curious on drying temps. I'm fairly confident I can keep humidity where I need it but living in Minnesota and coming into winter, it's about 68° inside. Pulling in outside air would be far too cold. Is 68° too high for drying?

The ideal temperature for drying cannabis should be between 60 and 70°F, with a relative humidity for drying cannabis sitting between 45% and 55%, so if you're at 68 °F now you're still in range and it's not too high, just make sure to not go over 70°F because If the temperature is too high during the drying process, it can cause the buds to dry too quickly, leading to a harsh smoke and undesirable taste.

One plant has plenty of lovely visible trichomes on the leaves, while the other is lacking in such (does have some). Anything to worry about or change? Both plants seem healthy and fine otherwise. Understand it's likely natural and the other will catch up. 2nd week flowering.

There's nothing to worry about at all, every plant grows differently and if both plants are healthy then it's going to have to do with different phenotypes, one of them must have just produced more trichomes.

Seems to be growing well. The one plant that started a little shorter has stretched and is now 3-4" taller than the other. There's less trichomes visible on the larger plant still, but they are coming in now. They're eating up water a bit faster, while the tent humidity is a bit lower this week.

Seeing what I believe is wind burn on one plant. Moved the stationary fan (the other oscillates) up and away. Cut away some of the dead leaves. Going to wait on any more nutrient, in case it was a bit of nutrient burn and do a couple rounds of water before reintroducing the nutrient again (and then going 50% dose on them).

Started the week with a straight watering. Soil pH was a bit low, in the 4-5 range. Water was just over 7. Runoff came out at 5.65 pH, so that looks good now.

pH has gotten back to where it should be. Haven't even had to use the pH up and down I purchased. There's been a little removal of a couple dying leafs.

This is my first grow and overall, it went really well. I did experience a little wind burn on one of the plants during flowering and a little light burn on the other plant ealy in flowering but both issues were quick and easily resolved. These autos flipped right on time and filled in quickly. Not much additional growth after week 8 but the buds did swell more.

Harvested on day 81 from when the seeds first went into peat pots. Clipper away the fan leaves, leaving most of those around the buds. Hung the entire plants upside down in the grow tent to dry. One plant (including stems) weighed in around 700g while the other was around 800g.
