6 out of 6 beans popped. and are in the solo cup nursery's for now.
The 5-gallon buckets are still breaking down and are hot with nutrients, by the time the solo cups are getting root bound it should be about 5-6 weeks from when they were created and soaked. I will keep the buckets moist to encourage the breakdown of the amendments in the soil.
and when it is time to up pot them to their final home, the food should be readily available. I hope all I have to focus on is environment and watering. so that is where we are at 2 weeks in.
check out NUKEHEAD seeds if you get a chance!
into the 5-gallon bucket with them. looks like they were ready the roots were poking out the bottom holes. let's hope the soil is not too hot for them and they can start eating up all the goodness in the soil. i turned on the other TSL 2000 as well to get the back row.
let's see how they respond. this week.
welcome back, weel 3 and we are cruising right along. I rewatered the reservoir and got rid of any dead lower foliage. tried top the girls and got 1 or 2 the others were FIMMED for sure.
I am not seeing any type of lock out or ph. issues they look pretty good. the only thing is that my time lapse camera did not record the last 10 days :( I have the worst luck when it comes to that camera.
Any Who hope you grows are doing well enjoy the pics till next week.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
weeks 4 and 5 got jammed together in a time lapse. the slitlls are from week 4 and 5 in the next 2 weeks, 4 pf the plants are taking off while the other 3 are under performing.
week 5 of veg flipped to 12/12 on 12/15 first week of flower comming up lets see how much these ladies strech to the light i have it maxed out in the tent so i hope i cam leave it full blast for flower.
looks like 4 of the six are pretty beastly, of the other 2 one looks like the runt of the litter. bud sites coming in after topping and fiming; running on auto pilot for now just gave them a refill for water and letting them do their thing. see ya next week
the ladies can drink at least the 4 big girls can. the 2 smaller ones are coming along and of the 2 there is 1 runt of the litter. but it should be oj as well maybe make hash of the smaller 2 we will see.
it is getting a little hot and humid in the tent. time to add some CO2 and turn on the dehumidifier to bring it back to 45 % RH during flower. enjoy the time lapse.
see ya next week.
week 3 of flower looks like they are hungry. Last week I Lolly popped the bottom 1/3 of the plants for air flow and to push the energy to the tops. I have a theory that the potassium is low in the media due to flowering I was going to wait till the 4th week of flower to give them a topdressing. but I think I will mix some PK booster in the next watering and fertigate the pots from the top, so the plants have immediate access to the PK for flowering.
let me know what you think after watching the video image section.
take care for now,
Welcome back all looks like the fun begins, week four is here and gone with the flowers staring to stack. It looks like my suspicion was correct and the plants needed a PK boost from flowering.
I gave them a booster on the 10th and in the timelapse you can see how they responded. The K deficiency looks like it was halted from going any further and might have reversed it a little in the leaves.
I had to add a little food after all in the mid to late flowering stage, but you have to listen to what the plants are telling you even if you think they have everything they need. live and learn.
Welcome back, Week 5 of flower and the stretch is done for the most part now they are starting to stack on the buds. added just water today no nutrients this week. I will give them their last big feeding on week 7 and let the fade happen until week 11 looks like these are going to take a while. they topped out at 28 inches short and indica dominate not a huge yield but the smell and bag appeal are worth it.
no shing of purpling yet i thing it happens in week10 or so i hope. till next time 🙌
Adding a bloom booster to this week's watering, they don't look like they changed much from last week.
but I will check the time lapse movie to see what is happening, looks like they are ready for a big PK Cal mag blast as the last feeding until week 12.
i am hopeing these will turn purple. with out the cold treatment.
weeks 7 and I had to put a Scrogg net in. the weight of the buds is pulling down the plant Yō Yos so I went with a net,
looks like they are responding to the feeding. just water today and maybe tomorrow they're thirsty
week 8 they are starting to smell i let them go without water for a week and they were putting off the terps.
did some light defoliate and gave them a 3/4 serving of water, I will check in 2 days and water a full drink for them.
colas are getting heavy for the stems lots of drooping using the Scrogg net to help them stay upright.
looking at 4 more weeks till harvest.
coming to the bitter end may be 2 more weeks until harvest.
Not seeing a lot of bulk or growth. the fade is on, and the watering has been drastically reduced.
lets see how it gose next week
last of the fan leaves fading to yellow, just gave them their last water until next week.
trichomes are starting to go from 60% cloudy to 5% amber and 35% still clear.
this will come down on week 11.
cheers
all in all, its a good smelling bud I WISH IT WAS PURPLE. 8 oz of good soild smoke. every time I OPEN THE JARS TO BURB THEM DURINGTHE CURING STAGE THEY WULD SMELL UP THE HOUSE.
