Ok first day with 12 hours of light.
Plants are taller than I would like but it is ok. Next will be clones so this wont happen again as I like smaller and wider plants.
I will cut 2 clones from the lower branches of each plant and start a new diary with them :)
There they are: 2 Pineapple express +1 Blue Sunset Sherbert turning into flowering stage.
I am waiting for 3 new COB Full Spectrum light chips that will help develop a wider canopy until harvest.
Actually I am using 56W (1xCOB 30w + 2xSMD 8.5W + 2xSMD 4.5W) but it is not enough to build proper colas.
I will add 150W more in a few days and move the 2xSMD 4.5W that have cold white color temperature to a new cloning area to grow more plants.
Let´s continue low stress training to have multiple colas at the top.
Can anybody explain to me the VPD concept?
my garden is very cold during night 13.5ºC as the minimum, humidity goes up to 72%
During day it usually goes to 21ºC and 52%
I´m watering the plants every 3-4 days (when they ask for it) with 0.75L on 6L pots
Am I doing OK ?¿
In a nutshell, VPD is a calculation of how much moisture the air can hold at different temps. If your moisture goes higher, condensation occurs(dew) and if you go under the plants pull more moisture from the roots, aka require more water. Running a little dry is better than too moist outside of germination/cloning IMO. I personally only worry when I get too wet....if you feed heavy running dry can lead to nutrient issues though.
Very strong plants
They eat a lot and are a bit long but you can do some topping and LST or SOG and they are very productive with big nuggets plenty of resin.
Effect is pure sativa, you won´t sleep if you don´t want.
1st plant harvested, was flushed with water only this week.
the other one needs 1 or 2 weeks more but has more compact indica style, bigger buds, fewer leaves, less resin however... lets see...
