11/17/2023 Friday. Getting started with round 2. Glass of water for 24 hours, then paper towel for 48 hours. PLANNING: Next into Solo Cup with holes cut in bottom, filled with FFHF 70%/Perlite 30% filled to 1/2 inch of top. Full water until runoff 12 hours or so before placing seeds into Solo Cups.
Solo Cup gets FFHF with perlite (70/30). FFOF is used in the bottom third of 3 gallon pot at final transplant.
11/21 One sprouted cleanly, the other has ‘helmet head’ for now. Applied a few drops of water to soften the shell, give her a chance to drop it on her own.
11/22 Drops of water worked. Seed shell fell off last night.
12/29 Too aggressive with lights, fan leaves have some burns, raised lights up to 23” above canopy and reduced power to 75%. Gave full dose nutes. Response good so far. Topped above node7. Branches growing out from nodes 4,5,6,7. Defoliated below node4.
1/4 all big fan leaves removed, LST applied, branch growth exploded, ready to flip to flower.
1/5/2024 Topped both above node7 2 weeks ago. Causes stress, easily mistaken for other problems. Best course of action is wait for full recovery without changing current grow conditions. Growing well now. Really like the FF nutes. Apply/adjust LST as needed. Girl on right gets horizontal branches, girl on left gets mild pulling away from main stem on two bottom nodes only.
1/26/2024. 3rd week of Early flower stage. Defoliate in 2 days. Then 6 more weeks til harvest. Can see trichomes on the leafs at bud sites.
Got pH into a good range. Nutes are good. Environment is stable. 😎
2/2/24. Great week for Bud site development. The pic with droopy leaves was a surprise. About an hour after watering without NUTES, both of them started drooping. Then they both bounced back within 4 hours. Strangest thing. They're doing great now.
2/4/24. Super excited! Received new batch of seeds from RQS. Got feminized Royal Gorilla, Royal Cookies, OG Kush, and autoflower F1 Orion. Oooooh, it's gonna be a good year!
2/9 Flowering stage coming along nicely 😎. Defoliation worked great. Very little trimming needed now. I’m planning on harvest in 23 days. A full 9 weeks of flowering, per breeders recommendation.
2/16 pleasant floral aroma, starting to get a little more pronounced. Buds look really good!
2/17 added pics of trichomes. Planning on harvest in 3 weeks.
3/8 Finished up real nice! Some red hairs turning darker brown, trichs on buds are mostly milky, a rare clear here and there, and some ambers. Snipped off a tiny bud from the bottom a week ago. Without curing, it smoked great. Smooth, florally, fruity, and very stony! Time to go play some pinball. 😉
Will proceed with harvesting girl on the left 3/9, the girl on the right on 3/11.
