MY FIRST DWC : MASTER KUSH

Full strength Cutting Edge Solutions Nutrient Line Master Kush is absolutely loving the DWC setup so far... Noticeable but small growth in just a day... Growing bit by bit each day.. looking great and loving her set up. 11/28 - reservoir was dumped to just at net basket level... had it soaking for a little, now i'll let the roots breathe. got a ppm meter today and checked... my water is about 100ppm and my reservoir is at about 900... first DWC, read online it should be at about 600, i followed the cutting edge solutions chart at 100% strength and the roots have been submerged in the solution before and seemed to love it, so i'm gonna put my faith into cutting edge with this one, at least with these two phenos... anybody got any tips on if this is somewhat normal? *after doing some research i do believe that i will be cutting down the next fill up to about half strength. Readjusted the solution to a half strength for this week and next of seedling stage. switched out my heat humidifier for a cool one and my water temp dropped significantly. seems around 68-70 degrees PPM 11/30/23 - 650 12/1/23 - 549 12/2/23 - 537 readjusted to 665

Master kush is showing some signs of deficiencies , not sure if from initial dip or what.... I have added one gallon of 80% solution and my next fill up will be an 80% strength. Other than the obvious issue, Master Kush looks like it is growing healthy. I dropped my PPM meter in my water and it doesn't allow you to recalibrate it so i am awaiting a new one... added a reflective insulation around the buckets and lids and water seems to be sitting at around 70 degrees. will update PPM reading once my new meter comes in Refreshed the water in the Master Kush Bucket My new ppm meter reads my water @ 145ppm and my readings once mixed were 1127ppm bringing us to 982 ppm i will monitor this and see how the plant reacts to this mix. my plant could have also been locking out due to incorrect ph ... kinda glad my meter went and i got a ph as well.... sitting a good 5.8 and will readjust daily. will watch solution to see if it is too hot. with meters ppm was beginning to rise after a few hours, so i dropped the solution to 765ppm ppms were rising as ph was falling... readjusted the solution to 567] hydroguard has seemed to very quickly decrease the bad bacteria in my reservoirs, as proved by just the smell of the solution inside! I will continue to use this as it makes my water smell so much better ! holy shit, look at day 10 water vs day 14 jeez... shout out to the hydroguard.... after readjusting the ppm of the solution to 412, the plant seems to already be correcting the yellowing issue and going to a nice healthy green. leading me to believe that this was indeed nutrient lockout from such high ppms initially and even until this point. maybe readjusting to 567 helped, maybe lowering it to even 765ppm initially had helped and I am now seeing the results at a more stable ppm. Who knows lol

Plants Receiving around 250PPFD PPM were at 438 12/13/23 - increased ppm to 530 12/16/23 - will be res swapping today... added some hydroguard this morning res swap / 650ppm after some recent conversation with cutting edge solutions, i will be removing mag & plant amp from my res & adding cal mag amped instead

850ppm res swap 12/31 put the plants under the bp3000 for the rest of veg... will switch to flower tent after this harvest. very nice tight noding since swap and expect it to only get better trying to raise temps slightly while not raising my water temp too much... sitting at about 78-79 right now and seems to be doing fine. this pheno seems to like a little less light than the other plants in the tent . ~550-~600 was too much for the master kush, not too much for the sweet zen or the other plants backed off will log the ppfd next read. 1/5/24 moved the plants to the 4x4 under scrog to finish out veg!!!! Inkbird set to 55% ac infinity on 2 with a flush over 82degrees or 60% rh at 7 Will let the two smaller plants reach the net and flip in about 2 weeks when my flowers are done MY THOUGHTS ON THE PHLIZON FD6000 SO FAR Honestly a great light, the dimmer is pretty useless so monitor your % with your wattage read. However, the ppfd spread on the light is great!!! even at 28inches (at least) above canopy it is still able to penetrate all around the tent! I'm currently only running it at 520watts and it's still performing up to par! 👍🏻 So far I am happy with my purchase master kush was overfed again, dropped down to 782 ppm

This pheno is finnicky to me. Very picky on nutes. I have to run it at a lower PPM than the rest of my grow. Maybe it is the genetics overall. So far it has been extremely easy to overfeed and I just need to remember to keep it low. It's bouncing back, but it is frustrating. As when overfed it becomes much more fragile and I ended up RE TOPPING two spots on accident.
