Really very happy with how she performed. Not the most dense jugs I’ve ever had but the purple colour is unreal! It almost looks black, truly gorgeous flower!
I am hugely impressed with the results I’ve gotten with BioTabs, it is overall the simplest feeding regime I’ve personally used. I’m averaging a good 60g for each 10l pot which is a great result. I was previously averaging 170g per 30l pot so I am actually yielding more than previously overall.
I definitely can’t recommend the compost tea enough, I feel it’s using this once a week that is really encouraging such healthy growth. The investment cost for an airstone isn’t much (I have aquariums so always have them on hand).
I have always achieved fantastic results with the spider farmer lights. Mine are no doubt due an upgrade soon as have been running for nearly three years straight. They really don’t put out a whole lot of heat, I use the spider farmer extractor fan to really efficiently vent out the hot air helping maintain a good 20-23 degree range.
Not the brand I used the brand I used is actually called Buddharoom (cheap amazon tent) no complaints does the job I need it too although some of the stitching could have been better but I repaired this myself with some twine.
She has been waiting for a space in the herbdryer once in she was dried for around 7 days before getting final trim.
I am very happy with the final dry weight and even more so with the incredible colour of the bud.
Her aroma is excellent as well with a truly fruity punch smell hitting hard.
@PersonalSmok3s, whilst growing there was a definite aroma of banana. Now she is dried and harvested it very much smells like punch. There is perhaps a lingering suggestion of banana but an overwhelmingly fruity/tropical/punch fragrance. It’s a really lovely strain to be honest! I also have some Fat Banana seeds from RQS but I haven’t bothered popping them yet 😅
@Majinstatic, I am beginning to suspect that the 24hr light schedule is the culprit. Most of my grows recently have been fairly long during flowering.
I was totally surprised with how purple she turned out though! She looks great and hopefully smokes just as nice as she looks :D
Thank you :D I love fabric pots as I can just punch a hole in them and anchor the soft-tie wire to that which lets me really bend over the main stem (just need to work on a more delicate touch though) 😅
@joeybalone, thank you sir! I’ve yet to sample her goods but her sister plant has been a fantastic day time smoke, definitely leans on the sativa side of its genetics 💚
I generally ask everyone the same question if the strain has ‘banana’ in the name.
On a never ending search for a strain that truly smells like bananas
@pifflestikkz, thank you so much, it’s genuinely appreciated. I actually just checked back my photos and they don’t quite do the purple justice. If you are looking to grow something colourful I can definitely recommend ;D
