Week 4 I beat the algae! The hydroton WILL always leak light is my takeaway from this week. This was a great learning moment with DWC for me. I lowered the ppm's from last week and they seemed to respond well to that. As you can see in the pics I fully insulated my res and covered the hydroton with net pot covers. This removed all light leaks and I haven't had a problem with algae since. This also helped keep res temps down as an added bonus.
The Liberty Haze is the most compact plant I've ever grown with nodes incredibly close to each other and has some good root development finally starting. The Dosi seems to still be struggling with just a couple noodle roots per plant. I think the lack of roots means I should've been top feeding to encourage more root formation.
