In this diary I’m growing 2 dos si dos 33 fems from Barney’s farm.
The seeds germinated in a cup of water. I sowed them into pre watered soil from there. They took 4 days to show their faces.
I’m using 100% plant magic soil supreme in 16L fabric pots.
Light: 40% @ 98cm @ 18/6h - approx 12 DLI
Humidity: 65%
Temp: 22c
Starting nutrients next week.

They’re vegging up nice and just doing their thing.
They could do with a bit of tucking, defoliation and training next week. Gonna try to get an even canopy before flipping to flower.

So this week I gave them a round of defoliation and training. I supercropped one, and just LST’d the other since it was basically growing sideways out of the soil anyway. I think another week or two of veg should do it before I’m happy to flip to flower.

They’re looking great 👍. I snipped a few massive fan leaves that were blocking growth sites, and adjusted the LST a little bit this week. Next week they will be getting their first round of proper defoliation, and I’ll be flipping the lights to 12/12 for flower. 🤞

They are bushing out like crazy. I wish I defoliated more before flipping to flower. They seem to be loving life anyhow so I’ll wait another two weeks and defoliate heavy on around day 21 of flower. 🤘

Here we are at the end of the 4th week of flower, and everything is going perfectly.
I defoliated a ton of fan leaves and took away a few sucker shoots, and now I think I need to re arrange the branches in the net for optimal spacing.
They are drinking approx 5L each every 4 days, with nutrients.

Everything's good. They seem happy. There's a strong smell of fruit punch or fanta fruit twist when I open the tent.
I repositioned a few branches in the net with ties for better light exposure and air flow.
Still watering 5L each, every 4 days.

They seem happy. I did let the VPD go above 1.5 for a couple of short periods by accident after not realising my humidifier ran out of water while I was out, but they seem to have handled it OK, very slight leaf damage on a few leaves but nothing major right now.
I gave them water and pk 9-18 only this week. Back to the full regime next week.
They are smelling like tropical fruit juice and fanta fruit twist with a hint of creamy soda! Wasn't expecting this but I'll take it! 🤷♂️

Temps have been high and air has been dry.. humidifier has been on the fritz but waiting on a new one to arrive now. High VPD is a leaf killer! Watch out for that!

Not long left now. Going to bump the light back down to 80% next week. Some damaged leaves from last weeks high vpd situation but it's not going to make a huge difference now anyway so onward we go!
