2/9 Day 32 of flower. I went in and did more defoliation and added a new trellis net to start fine tuning the canopy. Yet again for like 3 grows in a row now I found one of them has hermied. I suppose I have a good amount of experience with this now so I know I can keep ripping off all balls as I see them and the grow should still be ok. I think this was the final straw for the autopot system though. It’s too many strains from different breeders that give me the same results to be a coincidence. My res is only at .9 EC right now with a flower recipe and I really can’t go any lower than that, but I suspect the EC levels in the root zone are extremely high. Autopot claims a flush can be extremely damaging since built up salts collect at the top in very high concentrations so that’s out. I’ll be switching everything over to hydro halos for the next grow with a pump set up to top water until runoff instead of this gravity fed bottom watering. Light is currently at 805 PAR / 34.8 DLI.
@Dmars,
I’ve got 8 jelly breath clones that I’m going to run as a big group in the future. When it come close to finishing, I’ll flush 4 and continue to feed 4 and see which mature first 😸💁♂️🤷♂️ fuck knows what it’ll prove cos everyone’s set up and environment is different 🤦♂️
@PersonalSmok3s, I can't really figure out a good way to take pics of trichomes, but looking with my loupe I'd say both are around 75% cloudy, 20% clear, and a very small 5% amber. I think 1 or maybe 2 more weeks max would be the best finish time considering. Granted if I started flushing earlier I'd be closer to chop time, which probably would have been better for keeping the PM at bay since it's only now starting to flare up again. But lots of reputable people think flushing makes no difference anyways, so this is more like splitting the difference between both schools of thought.
@PapaNugs, The best way I can describe it so far is something like sweet berries. Really looking forward to how it evolves throughout the grow, I'm digging it.
