Fast Buds G14 is an indica dominant cross of (G13HP x Lowryder). Estimated life cycle of this strain is 60-70 days from germination. The setup for this grow will be as follows..
Tent size - 4'x4'x6.5'
6 in 440 CFM fan ducted to push through air cooled hood
6 gallon nursery container
Pro-Mix HP + 20% extra perlite for aeration and drainage
600 watt HPS on dimmable ballast
Viparspectra PAR450 - add blue spectrum during veg
GH Flora Series nutrients with GH Supplements,Terpinator and UC Roots
All measurements are recorded in ml/gal.
10/5 - Seed was placed in moistened Rapid Rooter.
10/9 - Seedling is above ground. As soon as her first serrated leaves open, I'll start counting days.
10/10 - Calling today Day 1. Added one of my LED panel to the tent for blue spectrum during veg.
10/12- Day 3, going to be experimenting with a low strength seedling solution made up of equal parts CALiMAGic and Diamond Nectar, so I mixed up a solution at 150 ppm and PH'd it to 6.1. I poured it into a empty plastic water bottle and screwed the lid on, then loosened it until there was just a bit of air escaping as I squeezed the bottle. I then dripped this solution ( maybe 25 ml, less than a shot glass) approx 4 in out from the base in a circle around the seedling.
10/17 - Day 8, first nutes being given today, received a feed of 224 PPM and 5.8 PH, watering about the same amount I would if they were in a solo cup. I am using RO water on this grow.
10/20 - Day 11, fed again, same amount as before. She is developing well.
10/21 - Day 12, thirsty girl is dry again, Fed her at 265 PPM, 5.8 PH with 50% strength flora series seedling schedule plus 2ml/gal calimagic in R.O. water. fed approx 0.25 gal of solution.
10/23 - Day 14, mutation at 3rd node.
10/24 - Day 15, gave R.O. water today PH to 5.8 and began LST by bending main stem over 90 degrees, and securing with coated staple.
10/26 - Day 17, gave a feed at 365 ppm with pH set 5.8 and approx 0.5 gal of solution. She recovered quickly from LST, and is already facing the light again.
10/31 - Day 22, she is responding very well to LST, and her lower nodes are branching out.
11/3 - Day 25. she is showing preflowers, and I think she's headed towards the stretch, so she was fed at 607 ppm according to the transition week of the GH DTW schedule adjusted to a pH of 5.8. Also calibrated pH pen prior to adjusting nutrients, it was high by 0.1.
11/6 - Day 28, she is starting to stretch now. These spots started to show up on a leaf. Is it nutrient burn?
11/14 - Day 36, she is beginning bloom and showing beginning stages of K deficiency, as I've been underfeeding all my girls except GSC. So much to learn. I need a mentor.
11/16 - Day 38, fed her at 585 ppm and pH was set to 5.8.
11/24 - Day 46, vertical growth has stopped and she is now putting out pistils. Fed her at 815 ppm according to early bloom 2 of GH DTW feed schedule. She was affected more by the deficiency as she had far fewer leaves than her sister, and was fed lower ppm longer. She is very frosty already though.
11/30 - Day 52, she is stacking the bud sites and starting to swell a little. The smell is coming on now too, like limes, wood and spices. She is fairly frosty.
12/1 - Day 53, fed her at 800 ppm, pH set to 5.8 and mixed according to mid bloom 1 of GH DTW schedule. Starting to use floranectar and terpinator together.
12/4 - Day 56, her buds are chunky and frosty as hell! Even lower buds though not quite as dense, are completely frosted over.
12/5 - Day 57, buds continue to fatten and the smell is a berry, citrus and musk smell, very different than anything else I've had yet.
12/7 - Day 59, some colors are starting to appear on the fans, purples and reds. Buds are glittery with trichomes and the smell is wonderful. Pistils are turning color and curling, should only be a few weeks now.
12/9 - Day 61, gave water + Hydroguard, with pH set to 5.8. Final runoff numbers were 794 ppm and pH of 6.
12/12 - Day 64, she is charging toward the finish line, with 60-70% cloudy trichomes. She will be getting just water from here until chop.
12/17 - Day 69, flushed with 5 gal of water + Florakleen at 10 ml/gal. Final numbers after flush were 130 ppm.
12/19 - Day 71, technically the start of week 11, but she is getting the chop today so no point in creating a new week for 1 day. Harvest report will be up in a week or so.
I'll grow this one again and again. She is stable, consistent, easy to grow and gives above average yields for grower skill. She took on some really pretty colors towards the end of flower, and smells so good!!
