Today is really like 4 days from sprout but we are starting week one today :)
Still working to dial in the tent, waiting on a humidifier heater combo to come in
Starting to get the tent more dialed in, got a Govee heater off Amazon and I got it connected to my WiFi and set parameters on it and it works great! Considering getting the humidifier to link up to the same app to fine tune the tent even further!
Some small gnats from the fox farm ocean soil but nothing bad whatsoever, put some sticky traps out (and there’s some dirt stuck on the trap that’s not all bugs)
And spayed some crop control on the soil around the seedlings to help prevent bugs
Topped the Tropicana cookies 2 days ago, lower branches are starting to grow quickly to catch up
Used a plant bending clip to get more of the side branches to grow up to the top of the canopy
Same with the banana purple punch, but no topping, don’t want to risk stunting it since it seems to be a slightly smaller plant already
Used a grow tie to keep it vertical while main stem is still developing
First dose of nutrients given today
.5L for each plant watered with runoff into ac infinity self watering fabric pot
Gave half a liter of nutrient mix to each plant with 2 mL of the pH perfect cycle per liter
Tropicana cookies is growing like a dream very easy so far growing from the topping we did the other week branches are really starting to reach up having to tie down with metal ties and plastic benders
Banana purple punch is starting to slowly come along, but it is for sure, a slow grower, or a smaller grower
Can’t wait for flower, I believe the Tropicana cookies is starting to smell a little bit, but not enough to really state it
First, ever time growing in a tent, had some wind burn issues on Tropicana cookie
Already corrected and growing vigorously sense
Banana purple punch is starting to catch up in size
Both plants just started developing their first pistol hair
I assume next week will be week one of flower
Did the heavy defoliation open up most of the bud sites
Slight smell starting, Tropicana cookies is mild but semi sweet, absolutely insane colors to show this early on IMO, can’t wait for and result!
B.P.P is more gassy and a stronger smell, having good trichome production on this plant
Really loving the development I’m seeing on these buds in the past week.
Plants are growing vigorously, banana purple punch seem to have a slight deficiency possibly a magnesium deficiency, just kept feeding with pH. Perfect trio seem to bounce back more from it. Both plants are very healthy looking in my opinion.
No signs of mold or powdery mildew
Trying an experiment of using foop mist into nutrient regimen
These plants have been nothing but a joy to grow, zero signs of pest and mold
Giving more nutrients than recommended and they are taking it in strive
Taking longer from seed than I expected, may have to harvest early due to going out of town towards end of February
Gonna keep it in soil as long as possible
Been having unseasonally warm weather
I also do grow in my attic as to keep it away from my family and children, and it can get much hotter in here
Sometimes during the day temperatures can exceed 90°F in the tent for just a couple hours
But as soon as sun goes down, temperatures drop back down to suitable
Banana Purple punch is really thickening up in the main colas, a few side branches are straggling a little bit. Smell is like a semi sweet with some strong gassy notes
Tropicana cookies is looking and growing excellently. It does appear to be fox tailing slightly but I actually like that phenotype when it comes to looks! The smell is unbelievable truthfully, the best I’ve ever smelled in all my years of smoking! The most sweetest, pungent, sweet candy and fruit like an aroma I have ever smelled never once have I wanted to eat a bud but I want to eat this one. lol
Gonna keep them in soil as long as possible! Warm weather is kinda coming up for me, but I will keep water basins full and feed when ne
