READ THIS, IT WILL BE WORTH IT! I won these in an Instagram giveaway and had to try one. Please comment with your thoughts on the following description, I’m really curious to hear everyone else’s reactions! Warning: It’s not the usual description! This was the first thing that I read about this strain and I wasn’t quite sure what to think (somewhere between disgust and disbelief) but it definitely sounded intriguing! From the Critical Mass Collective’s website: “Critical Mass Collectives original Purple Dawg was the result of their beloved mother strain Monster Mass, a sweet, musky Lavender and a fuel focused Purple Chemdawg. This monster yielding, ultra vigorous hybrid has since become one of their biggest sellers and they have, over the past few years, dedicated multiple ongoing projects into further hybridizing its lineage. The rare, highly prized and heavily hunted "Dawg Shit" pheno in the original strain has been isolated and used in all of the new and future CMC Dawg strains. This special pheno, coveted for its overpoweringly noxious aroma and taste, ensures plants reek of chemical dipped grapes, pungent kush, and rotten fruit with most examples emitting strong concentrated ammonia, vomit and fresh dog shit during flowering and even after cure.” The following description is also from the Critical Mass Collective website: Genetics: Monster Mass x Lavender x Purple Chemdawg CMC x Big Bud Auto Sex: Feminized Outdoor yield: Approx 130-180g/per plant Indoor yield: Approx 600g/m2 Seed to Flower: Approx 70-75 days Height: Approx 0.80m-1.2m (2.6ft-4ft) THC: 18% GROWTH BEHAVIOR: The Auto version of our Purple Dawg Mass holds all the stopping power of the photoperiod version, but it’s trich encrusted flowers are hard and ready for harvest in around 70 days from seed. The main trunk of this Chem Monster is surrounded by numerous lateral branches all providing tight dense colas of sweet yet intensely gassy flowers. Terpene and trichome rich, this greasy bud is all aqua blues and neon greens and often marbled with purple and sometimes blush pinks. The musky Kush, peanut butter, pine and sweet woody flavours are much more dominant and consistent in the auto version...with the sour gas edge taking the sweetness away and balancing the overall terp profile. For an Auto this girl produces on a huge scale and is perfect for both pro connoisseur and rookie fire farmers alike. SMOKE REPORT Smell: Lemons, spice and burnt wood with the obnoxious dead smell riding through fruit and incense. As with the photoperiod notes of putrid vomit and shit can also be noted although not as pungent. Taste: Sweet Musky Kush, peanut butter, pine and sweet woody flavours are much more dominant on the exhale with an acrid and punchy spice kick on the inhale. The mouth is always left ringing with fruit and dry gin. Effect: Indica body stone with a steady onset and plateauing with a sedative, heavy consistent feeling of sedation behind the eyes. Well balanced, medium-duration Indica perfection every time. Bag Appeal: Perfectly dense and oily flowers are sticky yet cure amazingly well. Like the photoperiod strain, light blue, neon green and purple/pink buds with orange hairs are tight and totally encrusted with trichomes. Open a bag of this and the entire room will know!

I transplanted her into a 5 gallon AC Infinity fabric pot filled with Coast of Maine Stonington Blend and DynoMyco, watered her in and put her in the tent. Please read the germination page and comment on this strain’s description.

So far so good. I expect a lot of growth from her this week. She’s looking good. She didn’t grow as much as I expected this week but it’s my own fault. I had to restart my sprout grow and therefore I didn’t have any sprout water to feed her. It’s back up and running again so she should grow a lot more next week.

She’s growing about an inch per day now so she should have a productive week. She’s shooting right up and I think I see a pistil already.

She’s still growing and stretching so I’ll give her another vegetative week. She should grow a lot this week. She’s growing a lot and is going through her awkward teenage stage.

She’s coming along very nicely. I got a new phone with a better camera but it’s taking me a little while to learn how to use it.

Pistil growth has slowed down so she’s getting towards the end. Another couple of weeks and I should be putting her in the dark.

I’m just giving her time for her lowest buds to finish and then I’ll put her into darkness. She’s in the dark and I’ll harvest her in a couple of days.
