So yeah it's the middle of veg...but I figured I would share this grow with you guys since, well why not?!? This is actually for Seedsman and it's entered into the Holiday Pheno Hunt contest. The genetics are from Trilogene, the strain is Hasbulla (LC Runtz X Cheetah Piss). I'm pretty stoked to be chosen for this grow off and especially for some plants like these! Very impressive lineage and even though I haven't heard much about trilogene before this, well these girls already smell dank AF! I'm sure these are going to be incredible and I'll be growing more from these guys in the future. I popped 5 at first and lost one seedling because of gnat larvae early on in the plants life. The ones that survived are all nice and strong now and are looking beautiful. Number 5 is definitely my favorite because of the crazy looking growth so far and she smells the strongest. Growing Organic is sponsoring the nutrients for me which is awesome(great company) and I'm also using my own Gaia Green additives as well. These girls are responding great to both for veg although they are a bit stock.... that'll change I'm sure once they are transplanted this week to the big 3x3 raised bed! This should be a fun grow 😜

Alright so I'm going to do this diary entry now so that we're on track with these ladies growing schedules. It's now the end of week 5 veg and I have transplanted Numbers 1, 3 and 5 into the 3x3 raised bed of Coots mix and vermicompost from BAS with Gaia Green insect Frass (on its 2nd cycle), amended with Growing Organic Bokashi, BAS Craft blend and Gaia Green insect Frass and Glacial Rock Dust. Those girls are set! Number 2 is in a five gallon with Kate's Vegan Blend from NLS on its 3rd cycle amended with the same. This is their last week of veg before we have to put them into bloom for the contest and everyone is on track so we should be all set. Here we Grow!!

Alright so here we go. It's the end of the veg period of the contest and time to put these ladies into bloom! I put down some Coast of Maine organic soil mixed with Growing Organic Bokashi Bloom and BAS 3.0 nutrients mix( not potting soil!). But it's basically a potting soil after I let it cook with the COM and Bokashi before top dressing.... I was planning on going with Build a Flower but it hasn't arrived yet unfortunately. We still have time though and I did put down plenty of insect Frass for compost, plus the left overs from the first cycles growth. I'm super excited to see how each of these phenotypes look during bloom and I'm sure they will all be amazing in there own ways. We'll see you next week when these girls start to get a little stretch going hopefully 😉.

So here we go community! The first week of flower is in the tank and these girls are definitely stretching their legs! Looking amazing with they're beautiful rich colors and each of them having their own unique tributes and characteristics....I cannot wait to see how these girls bloom. I ended up giving them some insect Frass Ferment with a little more alfalfa Ferment and completed their first first week of Athena foliar regiment (IPM and Stack twice a week). We'll continue that until week 3 of flower when the stretch is finished and there is no more lateral growth. Shout out to Athena for that! I appreciate it! I'm going to put down a layer of Build a Flower later today and that should take these girls most of the way through flower...if not at least halfway and then I can give them some Pride Lands Bloom. Thanks for stopping by and we'll see in week 2!

So here we go ladies and gentlemen! We're in full bloom and these girls are stretching up a storm! They look great, every one of them has something different about it that kinda sets it apart from the other which is cool for the Pheno Hunt. We're starting to get some crazy smells coming from them as well! Lots of funky lemon cherry, musky gas....I love it so far and can't wait to see how well they stack up their flowers. I put down the build a flower compost in the beginning of the week and gave them a nice insect Frass Ferment watering. One more week of the Athena foliar regiment then smooth sailing for these girls! See ya next week!

Alright, so check this unfortunate ish out....we lost two more plants to hermaphroditic traits! I know, it's crazy but what can you do? I'm not growing out herms only to ruin my other plants ya know....so I pulled them up as soon as I was tipped off about the possibility of them herming. Sure enough, two of mine had done so. At least Pheno 3 is monster and she looks to be all women like numerous 2 as well. So we're still in the competition for the most part lol. We'll just have to really focus on these two girls and make them shine bright is all 😉. I ended up giving the girls a compost tea last week of wizard brew (alpaca manure and beneficials) and some insect Frass Ferment (every week). They're loving that so I'm going to continue with it. The five gallon was given some pride Lands Bloom since she's going to need it being in a smaller container that's on its 3rd cycle! Regardless she's looking good after a little defol. Well that's that for now. Let's see how these girls stack up!

Wow, so we're now into week 4 of flower and just, wow. Pheno 3 is something serious! She's give foot tall, easy. Smells awesome already and is getting absolutely covered in resin. I'm hoping this lady keeps my in the winners circle at least for the contest (🤞🤘)... we'll see, still have a good ways to go. I have them both some more Frass Ferment and a castings tea made from my own castings which the plants are loving. It's really good to mix up your microbes with living soil beds to get good diversity 😉. So that's that for now, just water with q20 and ferments once a week, with a compost tea every other to every two weeks. Stack up the brix level in the soil, feed the microbes etc. and we're good. Well, thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week with some more flowers!

All right so look at these ladies go, they're stacking up beautifully! I can't wait to see what a couple more weeks does. The insect Frass Ferment from growing organic has the terpenes dripping from these ladies, and the compost tea has my fungal Network so established and impenetrable nothing's getting through but beneficials. I'm thinking some point during this week I'll put down a few tablespoons of pride lands just around there topsoil but all in all, they're looking very, very good and aren't going to need much as far as nutrients. Basically we're just keeping those microbes happy, pushing brix and that's that until harvest. The ecowit system I got is dialed in perfectly, I highly recommend that to any experienced grower. Really trying to get in a dialed environment. That's the way to go. My soil moisture is on point, my VPD on point, everything is on point 😉. I really can't wait to see these ladies in the next couple weeks, how about you guys? Well, thanks for stopping by and we'll see you guys next week with a bunch more flowers, dripping in resin.

She's getting chunky! Wrapping up week 6 of flower and I'm pretty happy so far with what I'm looking at. I'm also sure that she has at least another two to three weeks left of growth in her so she's got some more bulking up to do. The both of them. Pheno 3 is a show stopper, completely in every way. Pheno 2 is a little lacking but that's okay, she'll be a good hash plant. But damn, number 3 is getting crazy! Busting bracts left and right, with full coverage of trichomes/resin. Smells like heavy gas and musky lemons with some nice sweet cherry undertones. Can't wait to smoke this bad girl! I ended up putting down a little Pride lands bloom in the bed for the next coming weeks to keep the soil where it needs to be for her...also continuing the Insect Frass Ferment from Growing Organic because that's why these plants are dripping with so much resin. So that's that for now. We'll see ya next week with some chunkier buds!

Well here we are again, at the end of week 7 bloom and Pheno 3 is looking fierce. Number 2 isn't bad but she's having a hard time in that soil and that's my fault (it's been recycled 3 times!). It's time to retire that pot and send it to the compost pile. She's stopping to make a decent hash plant from the looks of it. We're starting to get a nice little fade going as well which looks nice with her colors and Frosty ass flowers lol. It does get a bit dry up top by the light so she's going to fade faster up there most likely, unless I can keep this environment on point...it's not easy. Her buds are nice and dense with copious amounts of resin/trichomes coating them. Each day they bust more and more bracts, enhancing her appearance as well as adding to her yield. This is what it's all about my friends. Beautiful flower for sure...we got lucky with this one since she stayed true for us. No more nutrients for now until harvest more than likely besides the frass ferment and q20. The soil is solid but I'm going to get a soil test here soon to be sure. Thanks for stopping by and we'll see ya next week.

So we're coming into the finish line, the end zone, the home stretch! Lol it's in sight ladies and gentlemen and I couldn't be more pleased with the turn out. Even though we lost a couple pheno's to herming and the one plant is a runt (my fault), the big girl and the little hash plant, more than make up for it in the end with how they're turning out. Number 3 is covered in resin from stump to cola tip, and her smell is insanely potent! So funky and gassy, I love it! She has a nice cherry and lemon undertone as well that's just perfect. Can't wait for harvest so I can try out some finger hash! I ended up doing another compost tea and of course the frass ferment. Gotta keep the raised bed active. As soon as I chop these the bed is getting a big amendment for the new girls that are in it. Well thanks for stopping by and we probably have one more week left, maybe 2 tops before we chop! See ya soon!

Well it's over...sad to see her go but I'm stoked to get her hanging and dried out. Can't wait to smoke this one! I'm probably going to be sending out samples from this grow to get tested for terpenes % and total cannabinoids. I know this girl is hitting high numbers! Well I'll know more once I smoke her but I've got an eye for these things lol and she's going to be a two hitter quitter from the looks and smells! The week flew by and I just gave her water and q20. I honestly thought she had another week in her but those trichomes say otherwise. We're at 25% which is nutz! 😂 She's gonna put ya in a head lock 😉. So that's that, we'll see if we win in a couple weeks I think. Or at least place in the top 3...that would be awesome. Thanks for watching her grow with me!
