First Time Grow / GMO Cookies

Harvested at week 17 and hung whole plants to dry, no wet trimming. Tent humidity was set to 60% and the average temperature fluctuated between 65-70 degrees. Four usb fans and a levoit mini air purifier were added to help circulate air. Herb was dried for 15 days and larger leaves trimmed during day 7 of the process. Bucked and dry trimmed in air purified lung room, which was then kept at 60% RH to preserve moisture content and help maintain terpenes. Trim and larf was not weighed. But weight per individual plant is as follows. GMO 1 - 3.98 oz GMO 2 - 3.95 oz GMO 3 - 4.75 oz Total - 12.68 oz of head stash and smalls Also ended up with 2 grams of scissor hash Jarred up per genotype and labeled - burped jars couple times a day for about a week.

GMO Cookies 1, 2 & 3 have been curing in jars for exactly a month today. They have all been extensively sampled, and would have to say that about a month into curing is best consumption for these. In terms of smokability they all greatly improved after a few weeks cure - the burn is much better/consistent and smoother. The aroma's largely the same, more funk on all of them - and this new "waft" effect that makes it smell more dank from afar, rather than when sticking your mug around it. Flavor improved moderately on all of them - any floral or incense/herbal notes are more noticeable on the taste too. GMO 3 Smells: Citrus (orange rind); Lavender; Funk Tastes: Floral; Earthy; Peppercorn (faint spicy) Effect: Calming; Clearheaded (not stoney); Mellow/Gentle Head High Overall: Best smelling and unique tasting strain of them all. Low-Medium THC, I would guess. Wouldn't appeal much to an all-day smoker, but someone with low tolerance looking for these effects might enjoy the herb more. Calming/mellow effects, good mood lifter. GMO 2 Smells: Musk/Funk/Sour; Lavender (faint) Tastes: Floral; Earthy; Sweet (faint) Effect: Spacey; Stoney; Calming Overall: Maybe wins best bag appeal, fantastic buds and colors. Low-Medium THC, more potency than GMO 3. Effects are not clearheaded though, it's a slightly stoney and spaced-out head high. There are calming effects to note and mood lifting too, but the head high daydreamy aspect overshadows them a tad. GMO 1 Smells: Burnt Rubber; Funk; Fuel Tastes: Earthy; Wood; Hash Effects: Calming; Relaxing; Stoney (lower doses) Effects: Daydreamy; Sedating; Zoned (higher doses) Overall: Winner in our book. High THC - appeals to all-day smokers but maybe not exactly high doses in the daytime. The stoney aspects of it come on quick but the relaxing/calming effects creep up. Higher doses of GMO 1 leads to eye pressure, zoning out, even reported eye tracking effects. Overall strong head/mind high with some slight body relaxation/sedation that creeps up later. Really like this medicine, fantastic for the mind - highlight of this particular strain for me personally is that it seems to help negate byproducts of anxiety and stress thus elevating mood. Planning on keeping this as a mother and running it again in a future grow.
