Welcome! My last grow was an interesting CBD 1-1 strain, tested it and still a little too strong for me. So, I went searching for a strain rich in CBD and very low THC, indica-dominant, with pretty colors and nice terpenes. Ended up on the CBD Auto Blackberry Kush - really curious about how this grow will go :) ## New Living Soil Mix A few months ago, I decided to change my living soil mix because of a high pH issue. It's been sitting for about 3 months now, getting watered with dechlorinated tap water, EM-1, LABS, FPJ, and Bokashi tea. The pH is now hovering between 6-6.5. Here’s the new mix, aimed at boosting microbial diversity, balancing nutrients, and getting that pH just right: ### Base Soil Components: - 2 years old Living Soil: 20L (Including some earthworms doing their things) - Peat Moss: 20L (To adjust pH and add organic matter) ### Microbial and Organic Matter Amendments: - Bokashi Compost: 1.5L (For a microbial party and more organic stuff) - Wormcasting Humus: 1.5L (Friendly microbes and organic matter) ### Aeration and Structure: - Rice Hulls: 5L (For soil aeration and a bit of silica) ### Nutrient Additives: - Bat Guano: 130g (For a phosphorus kick and micro-nutrients) - Seaweed: 40g (Trace minerals and plant hormones) - Bokashi Bran: 100g (Even more microbial friends) - Mealworm Guano: 100g (For a nice nutrient balance) ### Soil Conditioners and Mineral Supplements: - Biochar: 1Kg (Good for soil structure and home for miros) - Zolithe Chabaliste: 800g (Minerals and cation exchange stuff) - Volcanic Basal: 800g (More minerals and helps with aeration) - Azomite: 40g (Trace minerals) ### Beneficial Microorganisms: - Easy Roots Trichoderma & Rhizobacter: Full package (Boosting microbial life) - Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens: 1g (One of those good bacteria) - Endomycorrhizae: 1g (Helpful fungi for root magic) ## Mulch Rice Hulls: 3-4cm layer ## Germination 3 seeds / will select the best to transplant to living soil and discard others. Soaked Eazy Plugs in distilled water at pH 5.8 with Startermix, topped with Eazy Mix, then into the germination tray in the dark.
