Overall a really good strain for a first time grower like myself. The ladies tolerated me making a few mistakes along the way just fine and didn't give me too much fuss while producing amazing smelling, frosty buds.

Reviews. Nutrient
Great stuff. I amended this into my top waters during all of veg and a week into flower. Really promoted a dense, extensive root and mycelial mat system in the pots. Pretty sure I have roots from about .5 inches down from topsoil all the way down the pots.
GrowBig is a good product, I used it as directed according to the feeding charts. Don't use the dilution recommended on the bottle. Big Bloom helped throw some weight onto my buds and has a bunch of good stuff in it. I stayed organic for this grow, decent organic flowering nute that's readily available in shops. Tiger Bloom I didn't use too much of given that it isn't 100% organic and tanked my PH too low when mixed in with the other nutes. Like the ingredient profile and nutrient tho.
Use this stuff if you're under LED lights. I made a mistake and didn't have this on hand to correct a deficiency for a few days. Cleared the calmag deficiency within a few days, great to use as a foliar feed along with kelp.
Reviews. Lamp
Good little light for a 4x2 tent. Stays pretty cool even under continuous use and can integrate with automated control units if you have them.
Reviews. Tent
Tents good, never suffered any issues that weren't solvable by opening/shutting the available vents. Wish it had some cable routing options that exited through the bottom of the tent, but the kit performed as advertised.

Harvest Day! Took the entire plant at the main stem and hung them upside down in the tent for 14 hours to draw some moisture out of the plants before main processing. Plants were taken by the node where possible and given a rough trim before re-hanging on clothes hangers to hang back inside the tent. I would have preferred to have kept the plants whole for a slower dry, but there was too much plant matter to keep the tent within an acceptable humidity spec (74% with the whole plants). Tents now sitting at 62% relative humidity and about 63 degrees. Not bang-on 60/60 that I've heard is ideal for a slow dry, but close enough to not risk any bud rot developing while the plants dry. UPDATE: Buds took a week, but they finally dried. Spent all day trimming, ended up with the following dry yields. Whole Flower (stuff worth jarring) - 8.1oz Shake/Trim - 1.8oz Dry Sift from Trimming - 7

Grow Questions

Gold leaf #1 has developed a white substance on one of its seed leaves. Can anyone tell me what this is, and if I need to do anything to combat it it necessary? Going to let the Gold Leaf dry a little bit (no water) over the next 24 hours and see if that helps.

if that is a peat plug or anything like it, it is void of nutrients and plants need them to grow. It also looks to wet and waterlogged that's not good for the baby roots. Double check you feed concentrations and watering habits. less is more in terms of water in seedlings and a week feed should be good for mediums void of nutrients. Best Of Luck!

For people who use Blumat systems, what's the procedure for mixing in nutrients/supplemental things for growth? The Blumat system pulls water when the soil dries past a certain point, so what's the best rule for feeding in that case? Shut the system "off" a few days pre feed?

@gottagrowsometime, 3 pheno was the hope, but the numbers were more of a way to categorize the plants/buds from which plant it came off of.

Your plants look really good. My grow setup is very similar to yours. My plants are in day 15 starting wk3. Keep up the good work. GDP is a great strain. One of my wife’s favorites. We love the purple strains the best.
