plasticbeach This is the first time I am reusing soil. Was fed up with the waste of soil with every harvest and the reasoning for doing this did not make much sense to me.
After some reading I decided to give it a try. Many recommend to use larger pots for soil, but due to a small grow space and to maintain a bit of variety by having 2 plants, I decided to continue using smaller ones.
I simply let the soil rest for a month or two and then reamended it with a little bit of worm castings and other organic nutrients as listed. Excited to see how this will go 🤞
plasticbeach Plant is looking healthy so far. Growing slowly, could be due to the lower temps but other than that nothing to complain about 💪

plasticbeach Nothing much to report, other than smooth sailing for now. Again a bit slow but not too bothered about that as it looks healthy. This seems like it will have some beautiful wide indica leaves.

plasticbeach Started gently bending the plant as it's
growing quite small and dense, so the lower branches at least get some light and breathing space 😅

plasticbeach Did a bit of defoliation of the leaves that are blocking lower branches and some LST.
CDLC looking healthy 💪
plasticbeach Plant looks really happy and doesn't mind the occasional defoliation of the larger fan leaves, which was well needed given how bushy this is

plasticbeach Getting closer to harvest and the CDLC is looking really good ✌️
Some more defoliation this week as the buds are getting chunkier and I want to ensure things don't get too crowded.
Very easy to grow this strain as it showed vigour in all its stages. Can be a bit difficult to train due to how bushy it is but I haven't encountered problems with that. The buds have taken a beautiful purple colour in late flower and are producing a beautiful sweet and kind of cheesy smell. Chopped on day 82.

plasticbeach Trichomes have started turning amber all over so it was taken down on day 82. Not a big plant but the branches are mostly just chunks of pretty flowers that smell great.
@ThreeLittleBirdsCC, thanks dude! I mix the BioGrow and BioBloom directly in the substrate. GHF recommend 3-5g/ltr substrate of each - since I only grew autos until now, I've always used 1/4 dose. I also throw in some other organic nutrients like worm castings and bat guano. During the grow, I feed BioEnhancer (media drench) once every 2 weeks, starting on the 7th day after seed sprouts. Again I use 1/4 dose of the recommended 0.5-1 g/ltr water. Other than that I only water like every 2-3 days.
