Start of week 6 Height=31cm She is looking real good and flowering has started. unfortunately the "big" lamp is not yet available and she will have to wait another week to get under the quantum board. Some of her lower leafs have started to get crispy tips and i am a bit worried that i might have overfed her the past week so instead of upping the dosage, ill keep the dose at same levels as last week. 06/02-2024 - Day 36 - Watered 2.5 L (mixed 12ml of each grow, bloom, top and 2.5ml calmag with 2.5l water) 08/02-2024 - Day 38 - She has really started growing taller and have reached 40cm height 10/02-2024 - Day 40 - As per guidance of the excellent panel here, i decided to half her fertilizer dosage today... watered 2L (mixed 6ml of each grow, bloom, 1ml calmag top with 2l water) - the QB got available today so now she is getting 120w Quantum board light 12/02-2024 - Day 42 - End of week... She has reached 48cm height now and have grown a total of 17 cm this week

Your probably a few days to a week away from it being in Bloom, she looks like she has just started transition into flower which can take a week.

The big leaves on the lowest part of my plant are getting a little crispy tips. i'm a bit worried that its due to overfeeding her. it is ONLY the lower leaves that have crispy tips do i need to hold back on fertilizer?

it is an overfeed but only very very slight i would call this an imbalance more than an overfeed as the plant looks really healthy i think if you were to flush you most likley loose a few days of optimum growth i feed my plants everyday after say week 5 i know they can handle it because there are many many grow systems that feed constantly so it makes sense that your able to feed everyday by hand :) best of luck buddy youll be fine

Why do you want to defoliate? looks like there's decent air flow and you'd only create holes in your canopy becaues no leaves would replace the ones you removed at this point. bud site development is correlated to position on plant, not if a leaf is covering it. buds at the same level and similar vascular tissue leading to it, will develop in similar ways. I regularlly have 2nd / 3rd level of buds shielded and they turn out just like the 2nd/3rd level of buds with less shielding. Very little photosynthesis occurs in the flower, so why would you maximize light on that instead of your leaves. Leaves also take in CO2 - the limiting fact in most cases... hamprering co2 intake will definitely impact yield in a negative way. In addition to reducing photosynthetic potential which is the single most important factor for nearly all facets of outcome that can be measured. Leaves are lungs. Leavs are energy production.Leaves store buidling blocks for cellular growth... pruning off leaves is not a benefit except in very specific cases. Don't let anyone tell you differently. have a reason to remove a leaf.. maybe it's resting on another one and causing constant condensation on top of that leaf -- this would be a disease vector and a perfectly good reason to remove a leaf. My dehum couldn't keep up with the foilage at times, and to avoid a dangerous RH for the entire room i have removed 10-20% of leaves before.. but that was for the good of the entire grow and i never lied to myself that it somehow increased my yield or made the plant "focus" on buds... it did not. read "to defoliate or not" in dr photon's corner of cocoforcannabis.com. it will give you a proper perspective of cause and effect and debunk a bunch of retarded myths that people do just because they are prone to confirmation bias (especially if it is their behaviour being assessed) and following a herd.

@Budz_Bunny, im using regular soil from the local supermarket a lil prefertilized but not much and not for my kind of flowers :-)

@headzero, wollte ich gerade auch empfehlen , die haben zu viel Futter , wenn du die Erde von BioBizz benutzt würde ich empfehlen dich an das aktuelle Düngeschema zu halten , habe damit gute Erfahrung gemacht !
