The Alaskan Diesels buds are starting to take shape and looking nice. Tight cone shape and forming long colas. Excited to see how much they fatten up this week. She got a few feedings this week as shes starting to fade and showing a little light stress. I also took her off the 5 gallon bucket as she wasn't taco-ing or anything like that before and i want her to start finishing soon. Feeding was a combo of liquid kelp cal-mag and buddha bloom, and she seemed to perk up after the second feeding. I had to remove a good portion of yellowing and crispy leaves, but I think she will at least have enough steam to make it to harvest. I'd like to let her go another two weeks but she might get harvested at the end if the week depending on how much she develops. The smells are getting stronger and mostly sweet and fuity at the moment. Shes just startung to pack on some frost, so i susspect this weeks he will be amelling nice and dank.
I have the same grow light. What do you keep your light density at in the different stages and the lights height?I keep burning my plants!!!Please help me!
@AJC1313, I have it set so I can be lazy.lol They are both all the way at the top of my tent and full power. Download Photone for your phone so you can measure the PPFD. My plants have been liking Seedling 250-350 PPFD. Veg 350-600 PPFD. Flower 600-11000 PPFD. I have noticed that it is a bit hard for my 6 inch inline fan and humidifier to keep up with the light some days,I'm running the two in the 4x8, but last week I managed to get the tent to a high of 80, a couple of weeks ago it go up to about 86 a few days which was alarming. You should be able to dial the power to the height you want you light at with the photone app. I would keep it 12-14 inches away from the plants at least. but if you were say starting seeds and had them at the bottom of the tent, and had the light all the way at the top like I do, you could run it at full strength, and the plants will grow into the light density they like. but if heat is an issue you could lower it some and dim it down to control the heat. I'd try to keep it at 80 or below for daytime
