Germination - Glass of water - Paper Towel - Jiffys
12/16 - Lights On
12/22 - Transplanted from jiffy to Coco 3 gal.
Lost 1 seedsman Lemon Auto, never fully sprouted.
12/29 - Just watering a bit everyday to promote root growth. Still only using water, no nutrients yet.
12/31 - Still using water only. Growing a little bit everyday. Will add plant stakes for better identification.
1/4 - Added calmag to water for first time last night as I am starting to see some yellow cotyledons. Still feel like their beginning was heavily stunted since I had never used jiffys before, coupled with my lighting issues their first week (0% dimmer...).
May be killing time.
1/6 - RIP to the blueberries. Never bused jiffy before and seems I really messed those girls up. Lemon still looking ok.
1/8 - Day 20. Gave nutrients for the first time (GH Trio + Calmag).
1/24 - Moved to an early bloom nutrient amount. Probably could have tagged last week as pre-flowering or early flowering.
1/28 - Added some more pictures. Light intensity is at ~65%. Any more and the PPFD goes off the chart (1500+). Waiting for the official diffuser accessory to come in from Photone to compare it to the paper test.
1/30 - Week 7 Day 1. Christmas Tree represent!
2/1 - Added pictures from 1/31
2/5 - Added some pictures from earlier in the week. New week begins tomorrow.
2/7 - Entered week 8 from seed this week. Finally capitulated and did a light bend of the main cola towards the corner of the tent, to help create better ppfd distribution among the canopy. I moved all other plants to a new tent to give this girl some space. I am not running a carbon filter -- I say this because the outer room does not stink. It's a low odor. Within two hours of attaching the tie, she had bent back towards the light. Pretty cool.
2/13 - Have been noticing the buds stacking this past week. At night, the temperature is in the mid-60s and humidity creeps up to mid to high 50s. Running fan at higher speed to try to combat it. Earthy smell in the tent. Adding some new additional liquids this week, Armor Si and Diamond Nectar. I have not been measuring ppm/ec for the past month but may investigate the new ppm after all nutrients.
For some reason, I assumed this was an indica seed. It was a freebie from an order and I never investigated its characteristics. Was not ready for the stretch.
and miles to go before I sleep. - Frost
2/20 - Leaves beginning to yellow at the bottom of the plant. Haven't noticed any forms of light stress on the tops at all throughout flowering, despite the very close distance to the lamp (60% dimmer). If I had trained better in the beginning maybe there could have been better canopy form. Watering once every other day, daytime humidity hovering between 35-42% and night time is about 40-45%.
Buds continue to stack and plant is looking pretty good to me.
2/28 - Hopefully down to the last two weeks. I would like to see some amber trichome production soon and begin the flush when 30% amber trichomes are visible. Not much else to report on at this time.
We definitely went through a questionable start of this adventure, this seedling being very stretchy due to early light intensity issues. Pictures here were the shots I took to review the trichome state and decided to harvest. The leaves on the plant were yellowing and dying pretty hard but she may have just been super hungry. Oh well, everything is good! I am happy with her final state and as of this writing (3/13) she has been drying since 3/4. This was a pretty nice plant for being a freebie seed from Seedsman.
No wet weight taken.
