Opened center of coco mix and placed just coco. (2 inch diameter pocket)
Created 1 cm deep divot into the just coco and watered lightly.
Put seed in divot. (12/24)
Sprouted 5 days later. (12/29)
Light on 16/8
~ 22 C at soil surface with ~ 125 PPFD
Left humidity dome on seedling until not enough height for sprout or 5 days have passed.
Light schedule went from 16/8 to 20/4 by postponing light shut off by 1 hour once every 2 days
Focused on VPD of 0.6 - 0.8 kPa
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 24 C
165 PPFD
Feels a little droopy? idk i don't feel like i gave it too much water. Watered around it as well not just on it.
Focused on VPD of 0.6 - 0.8 kPa
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 24 C
225 PPFD
I heard that early veg should be from 400-600 ppfd for autos. I saw this a coupe times on reddit.
Will be increasing ppfd by 50-80 once a day until ~500
Focused on VPD of 0.8 - 1 kPa
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 24 C
500 PPFD
Need other plants to be higher ppfd next week. Will try elevating those plants to keep this plant at this ppfd
ACInfinity controller hasn't been working properly for the past couple weeks so I'm getting a new one shipped. It's taking over 2 weeks for the entire process (including shipping)
Controller couldn't recognize devices and kept turning on and off my light, humidifier and fan.
That being said my VPD was a large range this past week (0.3 - 1.2 with .8 avg)
Probably was giving too little water. Noticed drooping / clawing. I'm giving more water a week now.
Focused on VPD was 0.9 - 1.2 with 1.0 kPa avg
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 26 C
550-600 PPFD
New ACInfinity controller came in and it has been working fine.
Gave more water and no clawing in new leaves. first set after are lighter in color but the ones coming in now look normal
Noticed nute burn in other plants in grow and read about DLI. I'm adjusting ppfd for this next week to get abt 37.4 DLI (520 PPFD @ 20 hrs)
Focused on VPD was 1.0 - 1.2 with 1.1 kPa avg
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 26 C
570 PPFD / 41 DLI
Going to composte-tea next week
Saw some pistils showing gender, but other than that she's still going
Focused on VPD was 1.2 - 1.4 with 1.25 kPa avg
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 26 C
570 PPFD / 41 DLI
My composte molded -_- i didn't composte tea
top dressed
Read about water being more close to 6.5 for more nutrient uptake so going to aim for ~6.4 pH next week
Focused on VPD was 1.2 - 1.4 with 1.25 kPa avg
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 26 C
800 PPFD / 57.6 DLI
Composte Teaing with worm castings next week
Gave 6.4-6.5 water pH this week.
abt 3-5 L of water per watering, once every couple of days.
This plant took the ef off. Had to LST the crap out of it because it stretched so fast and beautifully. I got 3 midget plants in the tent with it so I'm considering total height at the moment.
because it stretched like crazy i had to battle the ppfd / dli throughout the week. I put the average but it got up to 900 / 64.8 at one point... Bringing it back down to 700 / 50.4 mainly so my other plants get enough light.
it's drinking like there's no tomorrow. should be good yield
Focused on VPD was 1.2 - 1.4 with 1.25 kPa avg
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 26 C
850 PPFD / 61.2 DLI
Composte Tead about 5L
Plant grew super fast and idk how to raise the light more... it's not tip burning so I think it's fine but I wanna decrease the PPFD soon. I can't turn it down because other plants in the grow are super short compared to this.
about 4-5 L of water per watering, once every couple of days.
Images show supercropping but that was done in the following week. Only LST tie downs were done this week.
If I hadn't tied down this plant, it would probably be 48" - 60" (1.22m - 1.82m)
Focused on VPD was 1.2 - 1.4 with 1.25 kPa avg
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 26 C
700 PPFD / 50.4 DLI
Doing 1.5 L every day, giving OAC CalMag 0-0-0 from TPS in every watering from now on. Using cocoforcannabis.com for watering guide.
figured out how to get the light even higher so we aren't scorching them anymore.
Supercropped at the beginning of the week in 3 locations. Only showing 1 in the pics but they all look the same and healthy.
Top dressed because top leaves are lighter than the lower leaves. I'm thinking that's low nutes which makes sense bc it's efing massive (idk if i can curse here)
I put too much worm castings at first and not enough perlite when topdressing so my coco compacted during the week. I think it was a combination of that and also using doing big waterings not every day. The coco might have gotten too dry and then compacted as well. Doing light waterings every day to combat that and I redid the top dressing so it was about 1:(1.5-2) ratio of worm castings and perlite. drains fine now.
VPD:
Focused on VPD was 1.2 - 1.4 with 1.2 kPa avg
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 26 C
Light:
700 PPFD / 50.4 DLI
Watering:
Doing 1.5 L @ 6.5 first half of week and saw pH run off was 6.9. 6.2 the second half of week in hopes to decrease run off but it instead increased to 7.4.... bruh
Gave it 6.0 water today and it dropped to 6.9. I'm conservative with pH because I want to support microbial life which I read was 6.3-7.5 pH
Nutes/Treatment:
giving OAC CalMag 0-0-0 from TPS once every 4 waterings from now on. Going to composte tea once every 4 waterings as well
Other:
besides pH it was a good week. Getting a small 200W heater to increase VPD in the tent. I already have a dehumidifier hooked up but it's not enough
VPD:
VPD was 1.3 - 1.5 with 1.4 kPa avg
Tried to keep temps above 20 C but below 26 C
Heater worked in raising VPD. Very happy.
Light:
700 PPFD / 50.4 DLI
Watering:
Watered 3L every day with 6.5 pH. I ran experiment on another plant in tent with pH and nothing worked so I'm gonna stay at 6.3-6.5
Nutes/Treatment:
giving OAC CalMag 0-0-0 from TPS once every 4 waterings from now on. Going to composte tea once every 4 waterings as well
going to top dress next week

They are about to fatten. For the next run I'm not interested in having colas that sprout from the internodes off the main stem.

No heater this week and on for seedlings.

Top dressed with GG 2-8-4.
Other:
Buds been fattening
Slightly yellowing of leaves at the top. I'm waiting to see if the top dress will stop that.

Slightly yellowing might be fade? It's also got some browning at edges of the leaves at the top

I water until I see runoff. I don't flush.
Nutes/Treatment:
giving OAC CalMag 0-0-0 0.5 mL / Liter from TPS once every 4 waterings.
Other:
Buds no longer fattening? I think we are just waiting for amber to start coming through. 1/4 of tykes finishing into cloudy/opaque.
leaves are fading!!
