Wetted 5 Orion's. They made taproots in a glass of humic acid after 8 hrs. Input them into paper towels for another 20 hrs then potted on once I had 2cm taproots. First plant breached after 2 hours .

Thos are some long tap roots! I am not sure I ever went that long with them, I have heardof folks that let the huls fall off before they plant but have always been nervous about that - thoughts?

Agreed Mr Jones I could not believe how big they were either. But I did not leave them for long. I went to bed and in the morning this is what I had. I did change the way I planted them and I did not bury them. I made a hole big enough for the tap root and deep enough so the seed tip was on the surface. It's worked out great and I have 5 Orion's growing just fine.
