Week 7
Both plants took the training pretty well. I had to reposition the ties every other day and trained the branches to go out and under the lowest rings. They are bushy like this, but Im not too worried about that now as Im just setting the mainline base for flower positions and all this will be removed.
(I flush cleaned the reservoir and lines this week then fed) Feed this week was again an auto pot reservoir feed at 500ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 100ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.0 as I attempt to reduce it to 5.8 before flip. The idea here is to switch feeds to root feed hydroponic style and that means a lower ph.
Next week will prepare for flip and consist of more LST training with a simple move of the wires as needed. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.9 range this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.
@Ju_Bps, Thank you - so far this is the one thing I really want to perfect - I love being able to move my plant trough out the whole grow without nets.
this is exactly what I though would happen, I know you felt like you had crappy initial results on your first grow, and assumed it was due to my teachings, but this right here is proof. You get some quality strains and now the plants look flawless. Definitely doing my crosses justice with this grow. And there's still 3 weeks left!!!. Im glad I remembered to check back in, Thanks for sharing
@Howweedgrow, Thanks for the seeds bro. The strain was flawless in its execution and ease of growth. I still use the basis of a lot of what you teach so no bad grows, just learning experiences in my past. I evolve with each grow and feel Im getting better with targeted results from execution in my process and plans now.
