Had to transplant one to the big pot as roots poked out the bottom on day 4 after transplant. I added .5 ml to one quart of water and just under .25 ml per quart. I used this mixture in the freshly transplanted plant. And also began using it on the plant still in the cup as I am told it’s a good way to prepare it for transplant to help not have transplant shock. The potted plant appears healthy and happy, growing almost 1 inch in 24 hours following transplant.
Week 2 in the books. A healthy dark green plant. Started the fox farm feeding on 1/4 strength every other watering. It’s taking approximately 2-3 days for the 1 quart of water to thoroughly dry in the soil.
I gave it a smaller amount of water, 1/4 gallon instead of one half, and put a standard dose of the fox farm grow big and big bloom in for nitrogen to help new growth. Full 5ml/gal for cal mag as well at every watering
Officially cleaned up the original fan leaves from node three. I left them on as I had topped a few days early and wanted to leave leaves on for photosynthesis. New leaves have opened up well, and I turned the lights down a bit. She seems to be quite happy. Will be doing second topping in the next 3-5 days.
