It's truly amazing how fast these things can grow! 3 almost 4 whole inches this week Just marvelous ✨️ 👌
Jan 10th: I told myself I wasn't going to lst and just let her grow normally... well that changed last minute and I decided to lst. She's taking to it well tho!
Strong growth even through acclimation to lst. Seems like pistils are starting to come in, specially on main top. Strong lst because I want top yields since I went with a smaller 3gal pot instead of my regular 5gal. We'll see how it goes!
Another great week of growth. Buds popping out all over. She has an absolutely beautiful shape, and her main cola will be towering above the rest. Introduced 2 new organic fertilizers to the mix: BloomCity's Clean Kelp & Purpinator, everything is working well with eachother and it seems I'm giving her all the right ratios because she's eating them right up with NO signs of deficiency
This week good growth, bud sites starting to expand and "spiral" around stalks. Hoping the lower canopy buds under the main center cola catches up in size to the upper canopy. The home-run is approaching!
She's taking longer than most other diaries I've seen on Blueberry Auto from gcs, but forming and filling out beautifully. She's very frosty all over but we still have a ways to go. At her biggest point on her main cola, she's about as big around as a jumbo sized hot- dog. I'm very curious to see her final
Re-tied down surrounding lower branches that are now turning to main colas.
At its biggest point on her main cola, shes about as big around as a soda/pop can. Her other surrounding colas are about 1/2 - 3/4 that size.
Im noticing that all of the large fan leaves that are still connected to the main stem are starting to fade and turn yellow slowly from the outside working its way in. Almost all other leaves are nice and green and healthy looking. I'm thinking it's because we're approaching harvest and she's using up whats in her fan leaves first. I haven't had any problems with a deficiency the entire grow until now as were comming up on her last few weeks of flowering.
I think I'll leave those fan leaves until shes completely done using up what's stored inside as she continues to fill out and flower. I've been tucking leaves a whole lot this go around with Miss Blueberry instead of defoliate them hoping for denser growth
nugs and so far she's looking promising!
I think 1 more week of flowering nutes with plain water feedings in-between every other nute feedings, and then start the flushing period.
I'm also noticing her overall color is appearing to change with deeper accents of dark green/purple-ish hues.
I hope the Purpinator additive really helps bring out the purple genetics in her and the others this 3-strain purple genetic run 🤞🙏🏽
The stretch is over. She's very hungry, maximum dosage of nutrients and she's still hungry. Fixing a PK issue and possibly a nutrient lockout due to water/feed Ph levels being off. I think I will let her go another couple of weeks before starting to flush her while paying special attention to trichome color/production. Super sticky and trichomes are still a clear/milky color. At her thickest point, she's a little bigger around than a soda can, even bigger with the surrounding buds. Interesting colors, I'm hoping her purple comes out more b4 harvest. Overall she's doing pretty good can't wait until harvest time!
This week the buds continue to swell.
Her colors are slowly changing into pink/magenta hues with contrasting green/yellow/ orange leaves and hairs.
Her trichome production is crazy; soo sticky with more milky-white than clear. Depending on trichome color over the next week, it may or may not be the last week of feeding for her. She got another dose of PK booster with her feeding this week. I will pay attention to trichome color closely over this next week and reasses. She smells pretty strong of a complex blend of ripe berries, earth and red wine.
This week starts her flush. Only feeding ph corrected water for the next 1-2 weeks. The fade is real on her and its a good sign I did something right! I'm starting to see amber trichomes within her mostly milky white which puts her right on schedule.
Start of second week of flushing her out. The fade is perfect timing. I'm seeing about 10% amber trichomes on buds. Things are just fine 🙂 👍
Harvesting at least her top half at the end of the week. Probably this weekend. I want to leave the lower bud shoots a bit longer to let their buds develope and let her use up the rest of her nutrients until she gades real nice, then I'll harvest the rest
After spending 48hrs in complete darkness, she got one final photoshoot before she got the chop. There are several pictures for bud size reference (my arm & candle) showing just how chunky she got. I cut her in 3 strategic places to where when hung upside down the buds don't touch eachother. All 3 peices had a part of the main stem still attached as I like a long, even, steady dry. A mix of wet and dry trimming is usually my go-to. Seems like it will be a decent harvest, I'm very satisfied with her performance!
Will update bud weight after drying.
Thanks for checking out my Blueberry Auto grow by Growers Choice Seeds.
Hope this can shed some light anyone whom may need it also 🙏🏽
