Cultivandomedicinanatural We started this project with the collaboration of these two great brands: Plagron and Royal Queen Seeds. We're going to use the full range of Plagron and their pre-fertilized coco (a complete bomb and a great choice). And we're going to test these new varieties from the great Royal Queen Seeds, including the Medusa F1 variety. I've never been much into fast versions indoors, but I have to say that this variety has pleasantly surprised me, and I would definitely grow their fast version strains again!! Totally recommended... a bomb.
On October 4th, I put all the seeds to germinate in a tupper with paper soaked in a solution we make by mixing SeedsBoosterPlus and Power Roots. After 12 hours, we already have the seeds sprouted, and we've had a 100% germination rate. I like to give them a little more time in the cup, so I transplant them on October 6th into a cup where I have euro pebbles and pre-fertilized coco.
In the first few days, I use the germination mix for watering and also alternate with start up and vita start, which gives a really good boost to our little ones. I have the light set about 60 centimeters away and the power at 20%, with a humidity of 75%.

Cultivandomedicinanatural We're moving into the second week of vegetation and we have a problem. When we finished watering and I put everything away, I realized that the pH meter probe was off and the watering wasn't at the pH I wanted. Instead, it was very, very acidic, which is causing the little ones to show signs of stress... yellowish tones in the sprouts... and they're stagnating... we immediately changed the probe of the meter and for the next few days we watered with the correct pH, and it seems like we're getting the little ones to bounce back, but this is going to make our grow take longer this time. You can tell that the little ones are strong genetics and they're handling the problem well, and the nutrients from Plagron are giving them the help they need to recover their colors and strength. We have the light set at 40% and a distance of 50 cm.

Cultivandomedicinanatural You can already see the new shoots of the little ones as they recover from the pH problem. They're developing several heads and gradually regaining their colors. This week we added sugar royal and vita race to provide sugars to our little ones, and we're doing iron sprays once a week to support their green tones and encourage branching. We're at an EC of 0.9 and maintaining the pH at 5.8.

Cultivandomedicinanatural This week the little ones are doing great, in fact, some are showing signs of needing more food, they need more than what I'm giving them since they're like bulls already!! The Medusa F1 are starting to show their little pom-poms and a lot of resin for the stage they're at, although the new branches that came out after the pH stress are still growing. These varieties are promising and soon they will all move to flowering.

Cultivandomedicinanatural Our little forest is already taking shape. And this week we started using the power buds!! that new bomb from Plagron that we'll use during the first three weeks of flowering to help in forming more flowers and concentrate the energy on producing more! The jellyfish are generating a ton of resin early on and are leaving hints of the smell they're going to have... this looks very promising! We raised the light intensity to 50% and kept the height at 50 cm, but we'll let the little ones get closer to about 35 cm approx. We raised the pH to 6.2 and an EC of 1.3.

Cultivandomedicinanatural This week, you can already see the little pom-poms, and the jellyfish are forming some really beautiful flowers. They all have multiple heads due to the pH incident in the first weeks. The one that's way ahead is one of the Purple Queen. I'm raising the EC, and not only are they handling it well, but some of the varieties are still asking for more. The Gushers are being very grateful with the nutrients and show no deficiencies at any point, and they're widening very nicely. The Power Buds are doing their job really well, and everything is filling up with flower tips. We raised the pH to 6.3; I really like working in that range during flowering since a great friend from the Plagron team advised me to do so.

Cultivandomedicinanatural This week we're giving the EC another boost, these girls want more and more of the nutrients that Plagron provides. The Medusa F1 are fattening up the buds and resin-producing like crazy, and here's a photo of the beautiful Purple Queen showing off her purple hues. They're evolving very quickly and very well; this week is the last one I'll be using Power Buds, and next week I'll start with Green Sensation. That will help them fatten up and enhance the flowers of the little ones.

Cultivandomedicinanatural This week we can already see that the flowers are fattening up to a very good size, full of resin even on the lower buds as can be seen in the photographs, and I had to tie the branches because, as seen in the photo above, the branches were bending under the weight of the flowers. I have the light very close to one of the small ones and I also have to separate them with a cord. The EC is now at 1.9, the pH is still at 6.3, and we have removed some of the lower branches/leaves so that the plants can concentrate all their energy on the upper part.

Cultivandomedicinanatural I'm very satisfied with the results, I've never used fast indoors and I think that despite the tricky start, everything turned out really well. I've always had the support of the Plagron team for every question and need. And I think Royal Queen Seeds has hit the nail on the head with these genetics, they're very productive and of great resistance/quality. The resin is noticeable and abundant, and the aroma is intense.
Cultivandomedicinanatural This week we can see that the little ones are almost ready to go.. We've increased the EC in the watering finally to 2, and we're going to give them water and pure zym next week so the girls can fully absorb everything within reach of their roots.
These genetics are a marvel from start to finish, with a very strong seed that just lacks resin at the root. Hahahah
Apple Fritter and Purple Queen are the ones that have surprised me the most; they are definitely a couple of super potent genetics, and Plagron's nutrients have managed to squeeze out their potential.
It's amazing how the trio of Sugar, Power Buds, and Green Sensation works wonders in these grows.

Cultivandomedicinanatural We've cut off all the food for the girls, we have an EC of 0.2 which is what our tap water brings. We only add 1 ml per liter of pure zym and lemon kick to lower the pH to the 6.3 we want. Just wanted to say that everything is tied up, the hardness, smell, resin, and colors of the little ones are amazing. They're ready for a trip to the salon.

Cultivandomedicinanatural I don't have the weight yet since I don't weigh everything until it's cured and ready, but I'll update to inform.
This is the crop that has yielded the most by far for the size I've left on the small ones, and after recovering from huge stress being so tiny.
Kudos to the genetics
and kudos to the Silic Rock from Plagron that helps with results so the plants gain strength and become more resilient, able to recover from setbacks and issues.
😍😍😋😋

Cultivandomedicinanatural The weight of these girls, like the others, I don't have yet, but I can tell you it's brutal. They weigh so much, so dense... one of them ended up a bit smaller due to the initial problems in the grow, but it made up for it with the power buds that generated many beautiful tips. In this case, I added double the power buds and there’s been a noticeable difference in branching and flower production. An amazing amount of resin... very intense smell, a warm... such ease of cultivation... I would repeat this one over and over again and I recommend it 100%!! Plagron has done a wonderful job recovering these girls, and with their monstrous trio, they’ve filled up with resin and tips that are a marvel!! 😍😍😍😍😎😎😎😱😱

Cultivandomedicinanatural These little ones are a wonder for a grower... whether novice or experienced. It doesn't disappoint and delivers a lot of quantity and quality. Out of the 3, one has a dark purple tone, another has pinkish tones, and the other didn't show any color pigmentation, but they all share an abundance of resin, lots of flowers and branching, an irresistible smell, and robust, compact flowers. You can tell that the feeding hasn't gone unnoticed, and the nutrients from Plagron explode every apex of the genetics. The entire range of nutrients is a hit, and if you measure the EC and pay a little attention to what the little ones are asking for, you'll see that you come out very, very benefited. What a great experience following this strain and the new formulations from Plagron!!
In the images of the first and second Purple, you can clearly see how the plants bend when you remove the supports with strings... in fact, some of the photos I have to take upside down because otherwise, I couldn't take the photos properly. The first of the purple doesn't have tones but is overflowing with resin and several large, beautiful tips. In the second purple, you can see more pinkish tones and also notice the weight, the size of the flowers from several main tips it has. In the third purple, you can see darker tones and a resin that is the most noticeable of the three; it has a longer central than the others and has many satellite flowers, although not the size of its sisters. They look like velvet, all three, with such beautiful resin they have. 😋😋😋😋😋
Quality in natural medicine 😎😎😎😎😍😍😍😍
@James, thank you so much! I think these genetics are amazing, I'm going to keep posting updates since I'm already around the sixth week and I like to share the content in big chunks. I have to say that the Medusa is incredible in terms of aroma and flowers... I'll keep posting the rest of the updates to see if you like them as much as I do. :)
