Did the paper towel method and so far 4 out of 5 sprouts. I’m pretty confident the last one will sprout by tomorrow. If not they gave me an extra seed Update final seed just sprouted. About to plant it in a jiffy pot soon, then in a 3 gallon fabric pot. Fiy this is not a budget grow. The light itself cost me 0 and it was on sale too. The vivosun tent frame which I obviously had to get the tent too was by vivosun. Plus a mars hydro clip fan was . I will also use a floor fan so I don’t always have to use the clip Fan and burn out the motor which I’ve done in the past overusing equipment. Always give ur equipment a break, everything. It’s why I have more than 1 fan. In my 5x5 I give my exhaust fan a break first cuz I bet I can grow a decent plant with just a light fan and dehumidifier. I shut it off about an hour a day. Also warms it up in my tent In the morning when it’s below 60 degrees F. After than turn on my air conditioner and 2nd fan and blast my carbon filter fan so I can shut off the 1st fan and dehumidifier. I do that for another 30-60 min and then turn everything that’s supposed to be on or off, on or off.

All 5 had a successful germination and transplant. Keeping the soil top moist with sprayer. Always throw in another fan for a bit to give other fans a break. If u have seen my window grow which is a cheaper grow than this one. you will see I have proven That u can grow autos with cheap lights, no tent or carbon filter. Pulled an oz off 1 plant (didn’t check dry weight) with the basic setup. It was quality smoke too. I expect to get 1.5-2 oz of smokeable flower per plant in this setup. Plus a couple batches of gummies and a 24 oz bottle of 100 proof infused vodka that fucks u up hard. I started the window plant at the same time as the 2x4 setup so I should get a good yield

Just added some oyster shells and epsom salt for cal mag. Will add some compost and worm Casting in a couple days. The last top dressing will Be kelp and alfalfa meal. I don’t like adding all the top dressing nutrients all at once. I get nervous of burning. Plants are looking decent and def growing bigger every day.

4/5 plants have hit pre flower and are starting to stretch. Already added epsom salt and oyster shells for cal mag. Tomorrow will as compost and worm castings and maybe some Kelp and alfalfa meal for micro nutrition if it looks like it needs it. Did a light defoliation and pruning. Doing that slowly so I don’t stunt the growth. Adding a supplemental white led corn light in the center on the floor behind all the plants at plant level to add lighting. Already ordered it, it will be here soon.

May have over pruned one of them but it recovered as I applied a drop of honey to where I pruned as that speeds up recovery. I did just defoliate the top leaves but it’s been 5 days since I’ve last pruned them. You can look at the pics ur self to do lmk if I did over prune them again lol. I’m looking at them now I wanna say no as i haven’t touched any of them for defoliating in days. So I’m pretty sure they’re good. Just added kelp and alfalfa meal 6 days after compost and worm casting. Which was 6 days after oyster shells and epsom salt for cal mag. I’ve said it b4 I don’t like adding all my dry amendments at once it can burn the plant If it is a low nutrient plant. If u looked at the pics u would see I added a led corn grow light(white) at plant level for supplemental lighting. It def helps as the plants are all slightly leaning towards the corn light and have strong stalks. They are growing very very slowly but they have all hit pre flower. They are def stretching and all female just slow growth which I’m ok with if the quality of the bud is worth the wait will(as well as yield and hash return in dry sift process) The wood stove is almost always on in the winter to keep us warm. The plants near it don’t seem to mind it too much but next winters grow upgrade for the plants growing near the wood stove is that I’m getting a humidifier. I had one for the window plant however it broke. The fan still works on it but the humidifier part doesn’t work. Even my dad couldn’t fix it. There is no reason on spending money on a humidifier now as my plants are all in pre flower and my window plant(also next to wood stove is in early flower and starting to produce buds.) So next years upgrade. I am starting another 8 plants in my 5x5 in the next 2 weeks but I already have a humidity dome and the tent so it’s east to keep humidity up with the tent. Remember these are no tent no carbon filter grow. The one good thing about these plants growing slowly is that I can add more nutrients to it at a slow pace without burning it or tasting nutrients in my smoke. That’s it for now see ya next week

They’ve def stretched a lot in the past couple weeks. Almost tripled in height. However the buds are coming in nice. I can pretty much verify that the supplemental light is helping as the plants are all slightly leaning towards the corn light and the lower buds are developing nicely. Pretty much perfect plants so far and am very satisfied with gnome automatics indica auto. This was their only indica auto on northatlanticseeds.com but It’s a good one. I have 1 more seed of it(they threw in an extra) and will def grow it. Slow grower but I think it’s worth the wait.

Done defoliating or pruning these plants as they r 5-7 weeks left till harvest. Some pheno variation but nothing to worry about. Plants are impressive to look at. Added a coconut water feeding and it took nicely to it.

All plants are looking great. Pheno 3 is a bit slow but still flowering. My guess is about 5-6 weeks on these autos till dry time with the exception of pheno 3(7-8 weeks) Just gave it Neptunes harvest liquid fish.(1tbsp per gallon) Last week I gave it a sugar feeding using distilled water and harness harvest coconut water. I will give them 1-2 more sugar feedings using prob molasses. Then it’s just plain ph water from there. Pheno 3 was pruned a lil extra compared to the other phenotypes as it was in pre flower a bit longer. Fiy u may see 6 plants in the photo as one of them is my window plant. The grow lights in the window are getting old and we’re cheap to start out with and had the space to put it there to help increase the yield. I am about to make that diary after this one
