I took a cutting from the mother plant (on 9/1/23) at a 45 degree angle, dipped the cut end into rooting powder then put that into an already watered pea pot of the coco/perlite mix.

I am writing this from the future. As you can see the plant has started to yellow. I continue to battle this for a couple of weeks before it takes off. At this point I thought I was not hitting it hard enough with the nutrients. I think the roots had maybe just started to form and I was hitting to hard with light.

The plant has continued to yellow. I really tried to kill this one. I was having a hard time stabilizing the temperature in the room. The lower leaves died off but there is new growth spawning out of the dead leaf nodes. At this point the grow starts to turn around.

The yellowing has halted and the new growth is coming out. I have transplanted into a 10 gal fabric pot. I set up a custom circle within a circle water line just below the surface of the soil. I have this connected to a pump in a 5 gallon bucket. I have the pump connected to a wifi switch because I will leave town for 4 days and water once in the middle by triggering it remotely.

The green is here! It is really taking off. I water 2 gallons every other day so there is some time for the soil to dry a bit and there would not be enough roots to absorb much more than that.

Beautiful baby plant! She continues to take off, I have not adjusted the nutrients because I know the plant is still catching up. Still watering about 2 gallons about every other day.

She is branching out. I am switching to flower today because normally the plant more than triples in size. I will add 2 tsp of Big Up to the 2 gallons of water to get it to blast off.

It is growing very fast now. I have both lights on now and moved them down into flowering position. I am new to the site so I am not sure how the nutrients will show but I mix 2.75 gallons at the listed nute measurement into a 5 gallon bucket; I measure the epsom salt dry and add it to the concentrate. Then I dilute that concentrate into the specified ppm before checking and adjusting pH then watering the plant.

She is getting tall! Still growing at an explosive pace. Once a week I am hitting it with Big Up, 2 tsp directly into the 2 gallons of mix before pH balancing and watering.

Absolutely amazing growth progress. Flower nodes are clearly showing now. Now that flowers are showing I am hitting pretty much every day with the 2 tsp of Big Up. I also occasionally give some white widow to promote microbe growth.

There are so many flower nodes! I had to tie back the tallest branch so that it was not growing into the light. I am hoping it stops growing tall and switches to dumping energy into the buds.

The other branches are trying to catch up with the tallest one. The tallest one is a little above the light but I cannot raise the light any further. I had to tie down a second branch so that it did not grow into the light.

Buds are thickening up! My house is really starting to smell good. I usually give the plant one day a week I do not hit with Big Up. I am still doing White widow once a week.

Massive colas of bud growing into bud. I am removing 1 hour from the day cycle to try to start the ripening process. I am backing down off of the Big Up and starting to hit the final mix with ~3ml in the 2 gallon mix.

More pictures later! This is the last week before harvest. It is always hard to tell when to chop but it seems like the right time based on the trichomes.

Happy Harvest Day!

The buds on this strain seem to grow huge. I had much less larfy sites than the last plant I grew. I am not giving it a perfect score only because I am only getting started with my grow journey so I do not have much to compare with but this is worlds better than even any medical you could buy.

Total Dry weight was 240.5g almost 8.5 ounces on one plant! I need to upload more pictures but this was amazing! Some lessons learned; when starting with a cutting continue giving it the same nute mix as the mother was when taking the cutting. I need to get an oscillating fan to put in the tent to improve stem strength so that they stay upright when the buds get really heavy.

It looks as if the yellowing leaves could have also been caused by the water. I see a lot of run off in your most recent picture, I find smaller cell pots like that typically do a little better, with frequent light waterings. Just like one or two circles with a pump sprayer with the rod and nozzle/ about 20-30 sprays from a spray bottle. Plants have trouble accessing nitrogen in too wet of a soil. Looking great though!

@StarfishSmallBatch, I think you are probably right. I will water my next clone less when in a pot like this. Thanks for commenting! This plant I actually harvested already and I am working on filling out the full diary. Stay tuned, this lady gave me 240g in the end!

They need a different light now, that one is too used up, stronger lights await you.

@ExterminatorX, the light is used up? I have considered getting more lights for the tent and possibly adding a UV bar for flower.
