FUCKING NONAME MYCORRHIZA! As I wrote before, I added mycorrhiza to the coco coir from a local store. It turned out that there is slow release fertilizers in it. But this was not indicated on the packaging. 6/02 In the evening, I decided to water the plant with a concentration of 450ppm and pH 5.8. From the drainage I got 700ppm and pH 6.7. I did not flush, as I was very tired, and I watered the plants at the end of daylight. But on 7/02 in the morning, I still decided to do the flushing. Poured 1.5 liters of solution of 450ppm and 5.8 pH in 7 approaches until I reached 460ppm. But pH still remained 6.6. I don't know how it will affect the further development of the plant, but I don't see any other options yet. I washed the coco coir with a lot of water before use and then soaked it in water with fertilizers and leveled pH 6.0, so this is definitely not the problem. Update: After researching the issue of pH, everything became clear to me. For coco coir, it is important to adjust the pH of the watering mix, and the pH of the drain is doesn't matter. Only the ppm level is important. There is an interesting article about it on CocoForCannabis. The plant reacted perfectly to today's (7/02) flushing. I want to note that I did not flush with clean water, but with a mixture for watering 450ppm. Now the leaves have risen up and the slight yellowing in the middle has completely disappeared. INTERESTING FACT: you can get a deficit due to high humidity. It also works in reverse. In short, at high humidity, you need to make the mixture more concentrated, because the pressure between the steam in the leaf and the air is lower, accordingly, less water with nutrients reaches it from the roots. Thank you for attention🙏 Peace🙌

Hello growdiaries community! Look, isn't the plant developing too slowly? I have had problems with fertilizer overdose (my guess) due to an unknown mycorrhiza, but now I have it under control.

shifting ph or other factors that can cause a fluctuating growth rate can cause waviness in leaves or contortion. Early leaves often do funky things on their own, too. Since your newer 3-fingered leaves look fine in this regard, i woud not worry. The 3-fingers aren't always blemish-free, either. Assumes all other factors 'good enough.' growth rates are relative... soil grows tend to be on the slower side of spectrum. The first couple weeks are boring but will double in size as a faster rate over time. Think of how much plants grow after going into flower phase.. 2-3x larger.. that's nothing more than continuing previous vege growth for 3+ weeks before abating. it's not "caused" by the flip. Cessation of vege growth (stems elongation + leaf growth) is caused by the flip to flower for photoperiods. in soilless i'd expect that in 7-8 days from sprout... just a guess. You got a little more stretch than i go for, but looks like you adjusted by the time it mattered - the internode at top.. a little stretch between cotyledons and single-finger leaf is no big deal. use those resulting internode lengths as a guide for light intensity.

Hi guys! Decided to finish my diary (Pineapple Express), which I should have finished a little earlier. The question is as follows. I decided to flush with distilled water and citric acid. Is this ok or not a very good idea? Thanks!

Flushing is mostly a myth and distilled water is aggressive as fuck and could burn the roots. Almost any acid can be used as a PH down. citric is not outside of the realms of common acids used. I think GH PH down has a mix of citric and phosphoric. Flushing is just not needed, it does not do most of what people claim it does, like removing chemical taste from buds, it's just not how plants work.. It is however a useful tool to combat toxicity of the medium should you have accidentally overfed it to much. In short feed less and then just water as needed end of life vs dumping copious amount of water though the pot. Agree with others, distilled/RO is just wasted money and not needed. Good Luck!

Still early days yet, if you’re thinking of mainlining I’d start now by topping her. Otherwise just leave her to grow a bit bigger then bend her over and tie down all her branches 🤷‍♂️😸 Have a look through some of my diaries, you might get some inspiration 🤷‍♂️😸🌱💚

@PersonalSmok3s, I'm actually afraid that the lowest nodes will not develop properly and then only one level will remain. I could be wrong because this is my first experience, always exciting.

Height started to become an issue for me with my Slurricane#7 🤦‍♂️ I ended up supercropping her and just bending over all the tallest branches! You’ll see the result when I update in a few days, but it worked an absolute treat 😸

@PersonalSmok3s, Very interesting to see, I like your courage to experiment! I've already made a decision, so this grow will be like this, we'll see what happens.

Followed for your first grow! Good luck, and happy growing! I'm no guru, but I specialize in helping people with their first grow (its the best way to go from beginner to solid intermediate grower, which most people never make), so dont hesitate to ask any questions.

@PersonalSmok3s, But not everything is so smooth... I just broke a branch. Accidentally touched when draining the runoff😓 It was one of the largest branches, but I cut it and grafted it to a branch😬 I hope it helps🙏

cool nuggets you´re about to harvest, look healthy and almost I can smell them😋 I am running the Pineapple Express in a small tent for almost a year and I love it. My advise is to use clones and/or HARDLY LST, HST, topping, SOG, SCROG or any other training technic to avoid stretching if you are running this strain on reduced space cause it grows very tall specially first 3 weeks of flowering as you may have experience too😅🙌 So I ended up doing some water stress during veg, reducing Nitrogen, using no more than 7L pots, defoliate-lollipop every week as soon as they have multiple branches or about 20cms tall, have zero fear on supercropping and specially use clones and get them to flowering stage as soon as they root so they start with 5-10 cms tall and end with about 30-40 when chopped. They look like thai sticks or so called in spanish "banderillas" they smell like piña colada and gives you a very special sativa effect. I´m really loving it😍 good luck mate! looking tasty👌👏👏👍🙏

@nexuscrypto, Thank you man! Yeah the smell is awesome, sweet and fruity. In the early stages of flowering, it smelled exactly like pineapple. And yes I had a lot of problems with stretching😅 But another problem she is became a hermaphrodite and I can't understand why. Is it because of my mistakes or a tendency to strain?
