End of week 2. Plants are growing nicely. I believe there are at least 2 genotypes here. It will be interesting to see how they develop. I am feeding them there first ACT today! They are in 1 gallon smart pots. I am using a mix of Black Magic Potting soil as well as compost. Black Magic seems promising!

Added humidifier. A bit late but I keep it pumped up during lights go. It will stay around 60-70 for the next three weeks. Looking to encourage some stretching. Plants are very short and bushy. I may not even need a scrog. Lets see how they grow over the next few weeks. 10/29 The ladies seem to really like the extra humidity. They are still vegging as to be expected. Really short and bushy compared to my last run!

11/03/18 Everything is going well. No issues at all. Plucking a leaf here n there but no real defoilation. Between the Black Magic Soil, and AACT this run has been smooth sailing no deficiencies or leaf damage at all. Humidity still cranked up to make up for the lack of humidity in veg. Will reduce over the next few weeks. 11/05/18 Decided to defoilate today. The plants always look sad to me and I feel bad. They always recover though and come back better then ever!

11/11/18 Start of week 3 of flower. The ladies were feed a bloom aerated tea. I only use organic natural ingredients. Nothing out a bottle. Ingredients in ACT Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, Coconut water, Honey, Sillica, Organic Bloom food NPK 3-12-12. After using the Aerated tea I top dressed the plants with the leftofter organic material. 11/12/18 Can't rave enough about BLACK MAGIC potting soil. This grow have been an absolute breeze. No issues whatsoever. Pruned under canopy again today. Plants are beautiful. I HUGGED THEM TODAY!😀 11/13/18 Today when the lights came on I was devastated. One of my rotary fans feel and completely crushed one of my plants. Luckly it was the runt. Its not died but its smashed up pretty bad. I was horrified. Should I pull her? I guess I watch to see if she can recover but the brances are ruined. 11/17/18 The plant that had the fan on it recovered quite nicely and the twisted brances even stood back up. Amazing plant.

Its hard to tell from this pic but this leaf had 15 fingers. Any of you guys see this before? Is it a mutation?

hey you have a double stem on the leaf which is a common mutation called whorled phitolla , see also phitollaxy. You have a very mild leaf-version of that. What does it mean actually ? well anecdotal evidence suggests that this leads to higher yields and potency, but you don't really have the "full blown" version happening. Nothing to worry about, very cool to have a unique plant ! 🚀

11/17/18 Beginning of week 4 of flower. Day 21-22 of flower. So far I am pretty happy with my results. O think I identified one sativa leaning phenotype, one indica, and also that grows slower then the rest. Although not entirely sure if its the environment that created these differences. As they further develop I may get some clues to this regard. Black Magic soil seems to work great with no issues of burning or deficiencies whatsoever. Are far as smell its not very noticeable unless the plants are disturbed or pruned. Decided to discontinue the Aerated teas. Im sure the ladies have plenty or microbes in the soil. The rest of this grow they will only be feed 3-12-12 bloom fert untill its time to start the flush. Buds should really start to develop in the coming weeks so stay tuned. Also im already planning my next run which will be 10X different strains including this one. Another 5-6 weeks on this one. Shout out to ilovegrowingmarijuana.com for these beans. 11/24/18 End of week 4 and the buds are looking amazing. Nice and frosty already. Noticed slight yellowing on the tallest girl. I suspect my LED was a little too close. Increased distance.Other then that smooth sailing. The next 2 weeks they should really begin to develop and put on weight. Cant wait to see what these 4 beauties produce!

11/24/18 Week 5 of flower. I think im falling in love with these ladies the buds look so promising. I know the next is going to be exciting as they really start to pack on some weight. The smell is still not 2 noticable though. I thought it would be stronger at the point. Anyway im happy with everything so far. Smooth ⛵ 11/29/18 Almost end of week 5 not much happening buds just putting on weight. They will get 1 more week of feedings (week 6) and then flush untill harvest.

Ok so this may seem like a weird question but some of my colas look impossibly frosty. Like its caked on the buds. Is it possible I could have tons of mould that look like frost? I guess I could scope them. What does mold look like under scope never had it.

awesome question my friend ! crazy trykes happens when you do everything right, especially perfect VPD. If you don t know about Vapour Pressure Deficit, it's worth a look ! basically VPD regulates the metabolism of the plant, you have probably been in a sweet spot for this strain and this pheno, and it just busted out with all that frost. It's basically a good sign, and it wont affect how quickly or slowly the trykes take to rippen (2 weeks) or when your harvest will be... it will make the weed crazy strong though ! congrats ! 🚀

Start of week 7. I think I will just feed water this week. I have lots of nutes still in the soil and leaves. They wont get much water this week maybe 1 or 2 flushes. Next week I wanted to experiment with light deprivation, as well as crank my A/C as high as possible. May even split one of the stems to see if it makes a difference. 12/12/18 Everything looking good. No problems, the ladies as super frosty and the smell is intense. Impatience is starting to kick it. So tempted to take a tester bud. But that's a waste.

12/16/18 Start of week 8 of flower. At least one of the plants is more then 1 week out. The sativa leaner still has many white pistils. The frost queen is right on schedule. The runt will be processed into bubble hash. Secret Sara buds are getting huge and are quite mature as well. Hoping to see some yellowing off in next few day. 12/21/18 All 4 plants scoped out well. I saw very little clear trichomes. Also 1 of the plants has some amber trichomes as well. Also almost all pistils have changed color and curled in. I decided to start 36hrs of light deprivation, they are no longer getting water, and the temps are kept as low as possible.

12/24/18 Decided to make bubble hash with the trim and small buds from all 4 plants. The bubble hash is now drying. This plant has been a dream to grow. No problems from her at all. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. All organic living soil is the way to go! Im not finished yet. I will update this diary soon with dry weight and a smoke report once the ladies are done drying.00000

@FrostyGardens, It's generally when you can smell the deeper odor 👃
FrostyGardens
FrostyGardenscommentedweek 96 years ago
Well my main reason for considering flushing for 2 weeks is to get some pull/ yellowing from the leaves. If I keep feeding I doubt the leaves will have time to fade. They should look like leaves during the fall season when I harvest.
OutForReal
OutForRealcommented6 years ago
@FrostyGardens, To help for that the last feeding before flushing must be with PK only as the N is giving the green colours to your plant , cut the N and you will help your plants yellowing ✌️🏼🌱

Your buds look amazing my friend and I believe congratulations are in order. You put in the work and time over the last few months and it has given you some beautiful results. I wish you all the best in your next grow and I'm so happy for you that this grow has turned out as beautiful as it has. Cheers my friend and happy smoking!

Looking good so far True! Best of luck with the harvest and cure process 😎

Mrs_Larimarcommentedweek 96 years ago
and to your flushing problems, i would start if trichomes change from milky to amber, and 2-3 flushes should be enough in such a short growing time. you are using a low concentration of fertilisers, there shoul be no big salt builtup in the soil ( the only reason to flush) I think in such short periods of growing its not necessary to flush 14 days( i never do) ypu can add up some blackstarp molases to your water. ( 1 ablespoon per 2-3 liters) that would feed the microbacterias in your soil
Mrs_Larimar
Mrs_Larimarcommentedweek 96 years ago
Hi, in best case its fully loaded trichomes. if the buds were moldering you see an progress. colour changes and the buds loose structure getingmuddy and it smell (stinks).for to be sure you can open one bud and look into if the inside is good structured not muddy or stinky you are a lucky guy having frosty buds. If you open a bud and you have muddy structure muddy and stinky you have mold, Gorilla glues isknown to have sticky gluey tops loaded with trichomes. as you are having 30 percent rh i dont think you have mold

At this point im really convince that all those expensive nutrients and supplements are not nessary to grow top shelf buds. When growing organically all the nutrients you need can be derived from cheap substainable sources. Almost all these products are basic elements, minerals, and enzymes. All of which you can source yourself much cheaper. It just takes a little studying and research to dail in the ratios and combinations. All you need is good amended soil, and Aerated Teas and you can grow top shef bud. Now hydroponics is a different story and while organic hydro isnt impossible its much trickier. If anyone can benefit from these expensive nutrients I guess hydro growers would.

@FrostyGardens, agree . all life depends on elements only a few one . i ve made my own mixtures to get my plants healthier, and it works very nice and cheap. i mix my own soil,,, and it works wonderful and is extremly cheap^^

12/24/18All 4 plants were harvested and are drying. I made some bubble hash from the trim. This being my first experience with hash im not really equiped to smoke it properly. So I will be purchasing a dab rig soon. Yeilded about 4 grams of hash.As for the buds. They look and smell amazing. Cant wait to try these sexi ladies!

12/21/18Day 55 of flower. Started scoping trichomes. Very little clear left on any of the plants. Plant 1 has about 10% amber on the top colas and about 80%-90% of the pistils have changed color and curled in. Plant 2 The sativa has about 90% cloudy no amber and only about 50% of the pistils have changed.Plant 3 90% cloudy No amber 75% Pistil Change. Plant 4 Same as 3
