First try at indoor growing. Hope this turns out and looking forward to learning a whole bunch! Started January 6, topped and fed. Full set up from Tree of Life, except for the light which was donated from a friend and will likely be upgraded for my next grow. Growing Orange Cookies and Nightmare Cookies. I tend to name my plants and these ones shall be called OC and Stiggs 😏😎 Clones were transplanted from Solo cups to 5 gallon fabric pots, I wasn't sure if they were the right size but I don't like to disturb the roots if I don't need to. Using PromixHP and RO water. I forgot to check the ph the second time I watered them, they still look pretty happy.

Added AC Infinity Cloudray S6 auto oscillating clip fan. Feels like a very solid and well built product in my hands.

Added AC Infinity Smart Outlet Controller and a 125/250 watt heater. It was a little confusing at first to get all the AC programs and triggers where they aren't cancelling each other out sometimes. Got a few of spikes and drops of heat and humidity, but I think that should be sorted out. Environment seems to be on cruise control now. Showing some purple stems to the fan leaves, not sure if it's genetics or stress. Also noticed a couple, maybe 5 tips showing a hint of burning, reduced feeding schedule a bit.

Bumped feed schedule but still a milliliter or so below what Remo suggests. Pics of purple stems attached. Gonna talk to the cloner today. Also, I almost killed OC by trying to LST and broke the main stalk a bit. Luckily I had watched a video of supercropping and had some duct tape nearby and everything seems to be okay, maybe even a little better for it. Tried adding a picture on January 30 through the lens of my tent glasses to see if the pics show up any better??? Plan is to leave them until Saturday, except for my normal bit of fuckin around in the tent, looking at them talking to them and giving leaves a little LST here and there, and then lollipop and feed Saturday, and flip to 12-12. They will have been in the tent for 28 days by then and are about a foot tall.

Treated the girls to a new grow light Friday, the ACInfinity EVO4. Set at 18" and 60% to start. So far so good, but OC looked a little droopy Saturday morning. Raised light to about 19" while I had my coffee. Fed them both 3 litres of water with 2ml per litre of Remo veg schedule Friday evening and topped OC to help keep canopy even. For the second time I had little to no runoff, even after increasing the water by 1 litre. More next time I guess. My original plan was to flip to 12-12 when the lights come on tonight, but I think I'll give them a few days under this new light to get their groove on and raise the power of the light by 10 each day and drop it a little closer to the 18 " AC Infinity recommends until I'm at 100% and 18" then prune and flip. I think I've got room to stretch. Plants are at 11-12" tall from the Promix, so I can definitely let them veg for another week. Raised the light back to 24 inches after my coffee, still at 60%. Saturday morning I fed about a litre of straight RO water to both and Saturday night I cleaned up a dozen or so fan leaves that were shading bud sites. Sunday OC still looks a little droopy, but much better. Sunday morning lowered light to 22" and powered at 70% with a 1 hour sunset sunrise. Fed them Monday night until runoff and took 6 litres at 2ml/l about a litre and a half came back out. Next time I'll give them 5 litres. Been trying to dial in this new light, plus I've went down the light meter rabbit hole on YouTube.....so according to Photone everything seems to be in check with the light at 70% at 24". AC infinity must have a more light tolerant stain in their test labs because full power at 18" would have my girls chicken fried in no time. Tuesday morning they both looked great, temps and humidity and light and nutes all seem to be pulling in the same direction. Plants are about 12&13 inches tall Likely flip them Thursday evening 😁😨😰 Wednesday morning gave them a small haircut of some leaves blocking budsites, and a bit of plant yoga bendiness and gentle restraints to let the light into the heart of the plants. So on page to flip tomorrow evening. Light is averaging 700 micromoles per second.

Wednesday night I fed both girls until runoff then lollipopped and defoliated and set up the trellis netting. I don't know if anyone else does it, but I will have a full-on conversation with my plants while I'm trimming and handling them. My wife likely thinks I'm crazy, and she's not far from fact. At worst they are getting some CO2 from all the hot air I put out lol Now the hard part starts all over again. I'll leave them be for three weeks then give them another trip to my barbers chair. I talked to a nice lady at Remo nutrients and she said it won't hurt to give them a shot of plain water every 3-4 feedings

Still feeding just a tick below the Remo schedule pretty much every 3 days when the pots get that light feeling. Gave plain water on Tuesday and will give week 2 flower food Friday. The AC Infinity Evo4 throws what I consider to be a shit ton of light, I don't have anything other than the blurple Viparspectra to compare it to though. It's set at 90%, with a 90 minute sunrise and sunset at about 20" from the canopy. I gotta have glasses on when I'm in the tent. Gave a feeding Monday after lights on, still keeping it just a little light on nutes. 6 litres per plant with minimal runoff. The roots must be huge on these things. Getting more challenging to manage getting all the water levels correct and mostly just the amount of water they need. I may start mixing next grow in a five gallon pail, I don't want to alter my process too much for now. Patience is key. Buds and cola sites are starting to form and the plants look like they really need a haircut😁

Things rolling along nicely with lots of LST and tucking fan leaves. I think OC is starting to show signs of a CalMag deficiency, thanks for the info @AutoFlowersSuck 🙂 I have been scared to over feed so I've subbed plain water a couple times within recommendations of the Remo Rep but maybe my fears are inclined and I will just feed regularly. It's almost 21 days from flip and they need a haircut in the worst way. Tomorrow night they may get it It's amazing how tight and dense the buds on top of the canopy feel when compared to the stuff down the branches. This light is a beast.

Feed and defoliation Tuesday evening, was a little bit of work but a lot of fun too. Put some music on and giver! Was careful to try not to overdo it with the scissors, I even lay down on the floor and looked up from underneath to see how it looked that way. Buds are getting dense and sticky, the trichomes are starting to frost things up a bit. I can't wait to see where these endup. Next feeding I'll increase the amount of nutes a bit, according to schedule. Fed Friday night, 5 litres of Remo week 4. Did a bit more defoliation I missed, like a dozen leaves per plant. I dunno, that could be smart, could be stupid. We just don't know. Now I'll let em boogie on down to the finish line and give em lots of light and love and tunes and tickles. Gonna give em week 5 nutes on Monday 😎 Not sure how much runoff I should be getting. Last time it wasn't more than a few spoonfuls, @ pH 5.7 which seems fine with me as it's a hassle to deal with the excess. I'm sure someone somewhere will tell me I'm wrong???

Everything is going smoothly, progressing through the days to harvest. I don't tend to get much runoff when watering so I'm a little concerned about finding myself in a lockout situation, I don't know why, I just hear lots of new growers over feed and I don't want to be one of them. I think when the lights come on tonight I'll feed a double quantity until I get lots of runoff, the theory being by adding lots of nutrient solution at the correct ratio it would replace any of the existing buildups? Call me crazy, my buddy who has been growing for years and years suggested it. Starting week six tomorrow. OC is showing a touch of heat stress and burning at the tips and edges of the fan leaves. Gonna dial back ever so slightly on nutes and by opening the door to the lung room the temps in the tent dropped by a couple degrees for lights on last night, I'll see if they look a little less crispy tonight😎

Week six of flower and not much is happening in the tent except waiting and a little bit of daily affirmations to remind these girls that "They are, in fact, very good girls!!! So bushy and strong!!!", then I might tickle the soil to make sure it's not all crusty, give the pots a slap on the sides like an old hound dog and say see ya tomorrow... Feeding about 6.5 litres per plant every three days mixing a batch with 13 litres food in 14 litres of water. Minimal runoff. Trying to dial in a 2x2x5 for a veg/drying tent with a 4 inch exhaust fan. Not as easy as I thought it might be😕

Things are going okay. It looks like I've got an issue with something along the edges of the leaves, besides a bit of light stress, I think it's related to high pH in the Promix because I'm usually 6.2 going in and once in a while 6.3. I am gonna let my last few waterings drift towards 6.1 or 6.0. I finally got a PPM meter and I gave straight water March 25 around and when I checked a 20 mL sample of the runoff my meter was flashing 2000. Being curious, I added RO water which was 6 PPM until I could get an actual reading and I ended up adding 60 mL to get a reading of 700. That's telling me that there are lots of nutes still in the soil and gives me a good bit of knowledge for my first grow. Round two is already on deck😋

Still not much going on, just counting down to harvest. Flushing with straight water and still got mad high ppms in the runoff. Buds are getting thicker every day but the trichomes aren't changing to amber at all, still mostly clear and some cloudy. Hopefully next week😎😎

Harvested both plant April 7-8, they have been drying in one of those hanging tiered racks in my tent since then at 58% RH and around 68 F. I prepared myself a small taster pack and tried it yesterday after a week of drying, they burned down to a white ash and not too hard on the throat. gonna give them a couple more days on the drying rack then weigh it up and Grove bag it! I didn't weigh it wet, because I don't care how much it weighs wet. It's irrelevant, and I refuse to play along 😎 pics to follow EDIT TO ADD Final weight clocking in at 9.8 oz between the two plants, just a little bit more from the Indica.
